Really and truly impressed with services provided by Luis! Over the weekend, my 8-year-old had used wayyyy more toilet paper than his little bum needed, and after shop vacuuming the overflow twice and being unable to unclog myself, I sent the call of distress to Yelp. Another plumbing company- while prompt- came to look at it, and was asking $150 more than what Go Direct Services stated was their flat rate. I sent the initial company away without my business, and contacted Go Direct Services. That same day, Luis was able to squeeze me in and fixed the issue within minutes and all for a flat fee of $79. I had scheduled this service for the 2-4 time slot to have our utility room drain serviced, and it seemed my technician would be there closer to 2 than 4 so I scheduled myself out of office at work to be home for the service. My tech called around 1:40 pm saying they were wrapping up the prior job and would be at my home in about 30-40 minutes. Still good. 3:00 rolls around and nothing. I text the number for an updated ETA and was told about 35 minutes or sooner. I had to get back to work so luckily my wife works remotely and was home for their arrival at 3:40. From her interaction she stated things could have been a little better. Their were two techs, one in training. Upon entering our home the trainee starts going into a different part of the house that had nothing to do with our service so she had to redirect him. Then at the conclusion of our service she noticed our washer drain hose was not placed back in the drain tube where it needed to go so she had to put it back. She did state the main tech was communicative, provided various options (scope or no scope) and was friendly enough. Side gripe on the invoice payment portal.....I would think plumbers get paid enough of a living wage to negate the need for a tip, but I guess with where tipping culture is in America, Go Direct feels the need to ask for additional funds as a tip upon checkout. read more

I had actually planned on leaving them a 5 star review at the beginning. I saw another yelp review recommending Luis Valadez. I gave him a call to share with him that my rental had severe water backup. I appreciated that he was able to come out on the same day at 5pm. Even though they ended up charging me an extra $60 after hour service that he didn't let me know about up front but I still would have been fine with that since the situation was urgent. I had to leave in the middle of the drain cleaning, and so I told Luis to please take a picture or video for me of what he's able to pull out, since another company that came out the day before already charged me for the cleaning fee but said something was stuck inside the pipe and they couldn't do the cleaning past 10 feet. He said yes. I even handed him the all the $17 cash I had on me as Tip. He never sent me any pictures after he was done. I texted him twice (and yes, it's his cell and he and I already texted each other before), and I also called him a couple of times. No response. What the heck..? I can't even get a response to understand what clogged up the pipe? Even if he couldn't pull out anything, why not just let me know that? My only theory is that he complained that the other company must have sucked at their job when they couldn't pull out anything, and he was embarrassed that he didn't either? but I wouldn't know since he wouldn't text or call me back. I thought I'd give him time in case he was out of town but it's been over 10 days. I also emailed the office to ask for a picture and received no email reply either. Do note that there are 3 Luis who work there, according to the office person who answers the phone. And so the other 2 could be a lot more responsive. read more

When is the last time your plumber showed up early and waited for you to show without ever mentioning it? When the plumber redid a flat rate service because he was not satisfied with it (he was scoping my sewer line and mud obscured the camera at 100 feet out, so he pulled it back in, cleaned the lens, then did it again. And when is the last time a plumber charged far LESS than expected because, after he troubleshot the flooding problem, it turned out to be much cheaper than anticipated? All this just happened this afternoon when Luis of Go Direct made a call (on the same day requested) and it isn't the first time he's done this. I was plagued by plumbing problems this week, and had been staying at a hotel after a plumber wasn't able to get through a clogged sewer line. This plumber was also quoting me exorbitant amounts to either install a clean out pipe, or replace the sewer line. And all of it was happening leading up to 4th of July. If installing a clean out pipe didn't work, so he could run a jetter, then he'd have to excavate the front yard within days to install a new pipe. This would surely mean that I would have to stay at a hotel for another week or two while he assembled a team to do the work. And his quote for replacing the pipe was outrageous. Stressed, worried and unable to sleep, I found Go Direct on Yelp in the overnight hours of July 3. I was impressed by their positive reviews and decided to give them a try for a second opinion. I sent them a message and managed to go back to sleep. By morning, they had responded to my email and called me on my cell. After explaining the situation to their customer service rep, she said they'd make room to have someone come by that very afternoon. Erick was right on time. He arrived in good spirits and took a look at the situation. Within minutes we located an existing clean out pipe already in place in the front yard, which I didn't know about! He accessed the pipe, and reviewed the situation with a camera. It was indeed bad, but not dire. Since I was the last visit of his day, he offered to come back the next day to get the work done. THE MORNING OF JULY 4TH. And indeed he did. Right on time again, and with everything he needed to get to work. In a little over an hour Erick cleared the pipe, and bought me more time to more adequately prepare for a full sewer line replacement down the road. What's more is that once he was finished with the work, he took care to put my lawn back to the way he found it. When I do do the replacement, it will definitely be with Go Direct. Sergio left to call his boss about the pricing. FYI I don't think he knows any English and I don't speak Spanish. I looked outside and he had left! I called the company, who called him and said he went on to his next call! I asked who else was coming out and he said there were no appts for 2 more days! I have to deal with contractors routinely between living in an 1800's house as well as owning investment property. You know how many times a contractor has truly exceeded my expectations? A handful of times in many years - Go Direct is one of them. I hired them to replace our 1/2" lead service line with a 1" (copper) from the house to the main (not just to the meter). Their pricing was fair compared against numerous other bids. They had a huge crew and did almost everything in one day (had to return the following morning to seal up the opening in the road). The professionalism and attention to detail is something you just don't run across very often on projects like this. They even swept up the sidewalk after they reseated the panels... the office staff and estimator were also very pleasant to deal with. If you're going to try to take advantage of Denver Water's $3,800 lead replacement rebate, I highly encourage you to consider these guys; they are the best. read more

Update: I still give Go Direct 5 stars for the field crew work. However, Rudy in the office needs to learn customer support and basic communication skills. His lack of these two vital skills can frustrate even the most patient people. It appears he is confused on Insurance parameters. It might be laziness on his part. Not assisting his paying customers request to recover funds from the homeowner insurance for verified existing trees. He simply will not open emails that have photos clearly showing a tree prior to the work performed or even acknowledging the Go Direct crew members in the same photo. Over three weeks have past without a response. We have to continually call and when we do get through it is like speaking with a moron. We hired this company to come out and do a sewer scope on a rental property that we just went under contract on. They came out and then sent an invoice with a recommended follow up procedure. No price, no explanation of why or what what it was. I emailed back, thanking them for coming out and asking the price on the recommended follow up work. I received an email back saying it's $1,100, again with no explanation of why or what exactly it entailed. I called the office and asked if they could explain what they saw that indicated the procedure needed to be done and what exactly the procedure was. The guy I was talking with said, "Didn't you get the email? We told you in the email what it needs." I said, "yes but I'm wanting to know why the pipes need it and what the procedure entails". And again he said, "it's in the email so what do want?". At this point, I'm shocked by his attitude and tone of voice. I'm in the car with my husband on speaker and he grabs the phone and again asks, "what did you see in the pipes that indicated we need to get the follow up work done?" And the guy responded, " I don't understand the disconnect. It says in the email what needs to be done." At a loss, my husband said, "we are driving and can't look back at the email right this minute. Can you please tell us what you saw in the pipe? It it clogged? Deteriorating?" And he finally said, "well is has scale." We said thanks and hung up. We will be getting another company to come and complete the work but will not be using them. The only reason I gave 2 stars is that they did come out and complete the scope. The level of customer service deserves zero stars. read more

My review keeps being taken down, why I do not know because it's absolutely true. Sadly I hired Go Direct to replace my main water line. They were super cheap at $3500. The old saying of you get what you pay for never rings louder. As planned, they started to pull the old galvanized line, unbeknownst to me the pipe broke and they brought in an excavator and dug a trench completely trashing out my sprinkler system or anything else that was in the path and left without informing me of the damage they caused. Only one of the workers spoke broken English, all others were strictly Spanish speaking. They are next to impossible to communicate with. They did agree to fix a portion of their damage but that's it. If you're needing a bunch of workers that can't speak English running around your property using an excavator with total impunity, Go Direct fills the bill. Honesty and integrity are the first two words that come to mind with Go Direct. A few years ago i hired one of the major pluming companies in the metro area to come snake out my old clay pipe mainline after it was starting to back up due to roots. They gave me a doom and gloom sales pitch saying that i needed to replace it ASAP and that it would cost me 27K. I called Go Direct to get a 2nd opinion and they sent out Luis who was fantastic to work with. He sent a camera from the floor drain in my basement out to the city sewer and showed me what was going on. While he said we would need to eventually replace the old clay pipe from the house to the street and as long as we kept snaking it a few times per year we would be OK while we saved up to replace. His bid came in significantly (and i mean significantly) less than my first quote. I used Go Direct to snake our line a few more times to snake out and recently hired them to replace the line from the house to the street. The crew was respectful to my property and did a great job cleaning up after. I would absolutely recommend these folks to anyone looking for an honest and reliable company to snake or replace their mainline. read more

Our basement drain was backing up. The plumber came out and looked at the basement drain and ended up running a camera through our lines. Said we had some minor build up but nothing to be concerned about. 4 days later the drain backed up with all sorts of black material with a foul odor. I called Go Direct and they scheduled someone to come out 2 days later and provided me a 2 hour window. They never showed up. I recently had Go Direct replace my entire sewer connection. Excellent service from start to finish. And they were cheaper than the other estimates I received by far. The project manager Luis was very polite, professional and knew his craft. He accurately located the key points of my line with the camera locator: transition from cast to clay pipe, location of blockage. (The other company I called for locate did not do this, they only located the blockage and assumed they could find the exit from the house.) And Go Direct did the camera locate for free because it was part of the estimate. They were confident enough that I would contract with them that they did the locate for free. (Its hard to find anyone to do a camera inspection for free unless you get other services.) The construction crew arrived about 8:30a for the work. Maybe 5 guys showed up. All were native Spanish speakers, a few spoke English too. No language barriers to worry about. (Hey, we live in Denver, its 2016, if you don't know a little Spanish by now, its time learn.) I did learn that "Jimmy Johns" universally translates... They went right at it, carefully dug my yard, pulled the curb, and dug the street with a backhoe, (again, hand digging around utilities) they did their best to not mess up the tree in my front yard, too. The project manager, Luis showed up for a while to make sure things were going well. There were a couple of other guys who were experienced and took charge, so I didn't worry that he wasn't there the whole time. I think that they were out by 5:30p including clean up. Wish I remembered all their names, great guys, hardworking, polite, professional and competent. They were considerate of my neighbors. And like all construction-repair jobs, they found some funky stuff, I had to make some phone calls to get things worked out, they worked around me making phone calls. There was no down time due to unexpected events. Luis went in the trench and took some pictures for me so I would have documentation of the project. Again, nice guy. My connection goes into the street, so they had to do asphalt removal, and also had to remove the curb and gutter due to some utility issues. They hand-dug around utilities. They do asphalt and curb and gutter, they come back a few days later to do it. Curb and gutter was not a part of the estimate, they added $600 to replace my section. Seemed reasonable to me. Another thing to note is that sprinkler repair and sod is not part of the estimate. They did offer to do that work for a little more. Sod and sprinkler pipe is cheap and easy; I can do that myself. Again great service, great employees, I've been recommending them to my neighbors without hesitation. If you need a sewer repair, by all means get multiple estimates, just make sure one of those estimates is from Go Direct. And if you do use Go Direct (and you should) buy the guys some drinks and snacks, they work hard and they appreciate the thought. read more

I called GoDirect to come and unclog my main drain. He quoted me a price before coming out the next morning. I think his name was Luis. He got my drain unclogged and scoped the drain for me because I had a hunch I needed the clay pipe replaced. The scope was included in the price that was quoted upfront. He never added additional charges. The price he quoted was the price I paid. And it was lower than some places charge for a scope or a drain cleaning. He did both for Hi one low price! Anyways we scheduled the main line replacement for 2 weeks later. Again cheaper than expected. The crew was out first thing in the morning and had the pipe dig out by 10. Pipe replaced and out by mid afternoon. They did a great job. They've obviously replaced a lot of pipe. Highly recommend for drain cleaning, scopes, or main line replacement. read more

I got five bids for putting a new sewer line from my property to the City's line in the street. Go Direct was a little lower than three of my other bids, and half the high bid. I checked their reviews and they did great...and I'm adding to that. They got right in, did the job, did it well. When we had a little snag with an open former permit, which was not their fault, they navigated it well and all was quickly resolved. They were prompt at patching the street and sidewalk. I am a property manager. I needed a sewer line cleaned out the reviews looked good and they were close. When they came out I received a phone call with the upcharge of $50 dollars because he had to remove a stool. ( THEIR IS A CLEAN OUT IN CRAWL SPACE WITCH I HAVE USED MYSELF) I couldn't go to this job right then so I authorized the up charge. When they put the stool back it was leaking from the tank ( probably from moving the stool from the tank not by the bowl ). I was not even told about the leak. I would think that if they can call to upcharge me they could call me and let me know it is leaking, or not leave it leaking. I called to ask for the $50 dollars back I was charged, as the job was not done right. I was told that was not something they were responsible for because they don't do any inside plumbing, only clean outs. Well isn't moving the stool inside work? If you cause a leak shouldn't you fix it? It is an easy fix you just tighten 3 bolts! I was told too bad for me "have a nice day". I Will never use them again! read more

Waking up to a backed up sewer is not the way to start your day. Luckily, GoDirect was able to squeeze us into their already busy schedule and clear the line. They videoed the sewer line which showed a mass of tree roots and a broken line. They returned a couple of days later and replaced the broken section. Videoing of the sewer line was again done, which showed a 'clean' line and the new section. Price was reasonable. Office staff, Erick, and repair crew were all very pleasant, easy to work with, and efficient. The work was done in one morning. No headaches for us! Since this repair was done in the dead of winter, GoDirect will return in the spring to repair our lawn. We highly recommend them for sew repairs. read more

Called GoDirect on March 27, 2021 to scope the main drain. They came out the next day, but the guy who showed up took our money and said he would need to come back the next day. He showed up the next morning with his boss who chewed him out (in spanish of course). They scoped the drain and said all was good and that they would send us the video and report in a couple of days. I have called them several times trying to get the report and video from them with NO luck. The one who answers their phone has not been very polite at all. He says he has sent it and refuses to double check to make sure that he has our email correct. I paid them for a service which includes getting a written report along with a video! I had to hire a another company to come out and scope the drain and get us the information we needed. The house was under contract to sell. When you pay a company you expect them to follow through. All I can say is that I would NEVER recomend GoDirect unless you want to overpay and not get what they promise! I WANT MY MONEY BACK SINCE I PAID FOR NOTHING!! read more

He told me that he would also happily do it but that the standard price for installation was 500 dollars. I had a similar experience as Caroline H. during the same week. I hired this company to come out and check a rental property in downtown Denver for a clogged kitchen sink. I was told it was $99 for drain clean up to 100 ft of cable and anything further would be a $375 minimum. Fair enough, I was told upfront on the possibility of additional charges. I never received a call from the tech on what was the issue with the drain, what work was completed on the drain, or that the job was even completed. The company office contacted me a week later asking for a correct email for billing, I gave them the email but never received an invoice from them via email. I soon received a text with an invoice $99 drain clean and $100 Excess Stair Access....... well this was a new development and never mentioned as a possible charge or verified with me prior to the work being done or charged. I still never heard what the issue was with the sink. The apartment is located in an old historic building in the ballpark area, there are 3 flights of stairs, but I have had dozens of vendors and deliveries over the years and not one charge for Excess Stairs.... I split the difference with the company and paid $50 for the excess stairs but won't be using them again. Poor communication and shady billing practices read more

I had an excellent experience with Luis and Go Direct! My sewer backed up (what a mess!). Despite the fact that it was the week-end, I had two services scope and estimate the job. Both came in about the same amount of $$, but Luis was extremely professional and made a serious effort to remove the clogs without rebuilding the sewer line. When that didn't work, he gave me a detailed estimate and had a crew of 5 out the next morning to replace the affected sewer line. They gave me a usable sewer line in 1 day, and came back to put in the rebar and pour the alley cement 2 days later. They did a decent job of cleaning up after each stage. The Go Direct crew was careful of my landscaping, but some tree root exposure was unavoidable in trenching to the alley. After the job, Luis took the time to bring over root stimulator to help fertilize and salvage the affected tree! And he again camera-scoped the completed sewer line so that I could see the result. I'm really pleased with the recent service we got from Go Direct and Stone & Concrete, Inc. We had our home sewer line scoped and replaced for a reasonable price with no complications. Fortunately our pipe was good under the street still, so only the yard had to be dug out. Luis was great with the estimate and coordinating the crew of three more including Manuel and another Manuel (one of three crews at this time). Though we weren't in an emergency situation, we were impressed by how short a time there was from first call until job done. Suzanne, Rachel, Julia and others at the office were great with billing and likely all the required contacts for pre- and post- inspections for all wired, gas, water and sewer utilities. We were impressed by the discussions that led to our new installation being code-compliant with the right materials.
