Quick and efficient on a walk up. Not bad. I hate that thing that shoots air in my eyes. They did it quickly and got it over with.

I highly recommend SharpeVision for lasik surgery!…read more My pre consultation appointment, the surgery, and the follow-up appointment went incredibly smooth. It was overall a great experience. I've been wearing contacts for over 15 years, so I was a bit nervous but also excited to have better vision. The team explained every detail and I felt comfortable/taken care of!

Everything went great until it didn't. If you are considering RLE surgery, do your research. It's…read morenot what they promised or delivered. The surgery went fine and my eyes healed perfectly BUT I started experiencing blurry vision at all distances shortly thereafter. I was in the office about every two weeks for about 5-1/2 months after surgery. I was told to use 3 different eye drops by 3 different Dr's/techs. None of which did anything to correct the problem. My left eye is so blurry it feels like I have something in it all day long. To make matters worse, parts of my vision that were good before are now blurry. I can read text that I wasn't able to before without readers, however, it's like double vision and I can't see anything with any detail. When I finally got to see Dr Lancaster close to the 6 month mark, he told me my only option was to have one of the multi-focal lenses replaced with a mono focal lens, which he originally talked me out of prior to the surgery - oh and here is the best part - I was going to have to pay for the surgery because it had been six months!! So much for lifetime guarantee. Oh, and the BS they tell you about being to make any necessary corrections to the lenses, if necessary, after the surgery was not true. They never even offered that as a solution. They even sent me to an outside retina specialist who confirmed the blurry vision had nothing to do with my retina. I called three times trying to speak to someone about those results and no one would return my call. Its been over 2 months and crickets. I have been trying to get my medical records from them so I can go somewhere else to get my eyes fixed, but so far they have failed to give them to me. I spoke to someone who said they would email them, they didn't. I've left several messages because they don't answer the phone and I have received zero call backs. If you are willing to spend the 12k for this surgery, I suggest finding someone else because, in this case, you don't get what you pay for.

He's friendly, informative, and best of all - HE ACTUALLY LISTENS! I used to complain to other optometrists that one of my contacts was blurrier than the other and I made my vision feel off sometimes but they always tried to correct me or tell me that was "normal" and never really did anything about it. Dr. Lubeck listened to me when I said that and even doubled checked my vision with different strengths to see which felt better, sent me home with various strengths of sample contacts to try and even noted it on the prescription! He let me try a new brand of contacts but also kept my tried and true on the prescription as well if I decided I liked it better. He explained things really well and I really appreciated his manner. I definitely will be keeping him as my new optometrist! Highly recommend!

He takes an image of the eye health as well as other diagnostic tests. I recommend him highly. The office is at Midline Mall near Macy's. A very convenient location. Thank you for being excellent in every way. I have not ever had such a thorough and professional exam. Also, I purchased an eye mask that is warmed in the microwave. Doc Matt explained that it helps 'melt' the natural oil glands in my eyes. Very soothing and I'm so grateful for the recommendation. I hope you will check them out and be as grateful as I. Thanks guys!

This place is huge. Lots of employees, techs and doctors and specialists and laser Center, you name…read moreit they do it!!!! I felt it was a good experience. They're very organized and even the doctors come out and call for their patient which I was extremely impressed by!!!! I would nearly guarantee you that is a typical!! So if it looks like a team and smells like a team and quacks like a team it is a team! They have an app and so you can complete the majority of your paperwork other than the Hyppa consent before you go for your appointment and save yourself about 20 minutes worth of paper. That's what I did. It wasn't difficult. When I called for the appointment they told me they would send me a link and they did indeed. We arrived about 10 minutes early and waited probably a total of 20 minutes before I was called back by one of the techs. He went over with me verbally- my symptoms and my concerns. We did some testing with advanced equipment-it seems like it gets more able every year.... and I'm sure it measured my I took photos of my corny is etc. etc. it also did the refractory testing and although you still had to answer one or two or three or one..... it was minimal and that's always my least favorite part. He also put the drops in my eyes so that they would dilate as I hadn't had a dilated exam in quite some time and my baby cataracts are bothering me quite a bit. After the machine he put me in an exam room and let me know that we were waiting for an actual room where I would eventually see the doctor and that he would come and retrieve me which he did. It might've been a 10 minute wait if that, it wasn't bad at all. He then brought me back out to the waiting room so that another gentleman could call me in on the other end of the building. He took me to another machine which was some kind of advanced photography of my ophthalmic system. I felt bad for him because he was squirming all over stooping to get these pictures, turns out that a patient's family member had borrowed his chair for the family members exam so that they could sit down during it which left him hanging in the wind. I asked him if he was OK and he advised that he just had done a huge work out yesterday and so his calves and thighs were really sore so when he had to squat it made him squirm. He was very nice and professional and always had a smile on his face. After that exam I was taken into an office to await my appointment with Chelsea Devitt. I believe she is an optometrist. She introduced herself along with the person that was going to record all of her comments right into my record. I find all this high-tech awesome and love they are not wasting paper!!! After a brief introduction she advised me she would be doing the exam and then would review everything with me when she was done but that she would be talking throughout so that the person at the computer could document everything. I agreed and she proceeded. She gave me a very thorough eye exam and even went and got her headgear so she would have the brightest light available to check out the lattice work on my retina's which I had had laser treatment for when I was a preteen. It was kind of neat that the text did all the preliminary so that she could focus on the clinical aspect. When done we did have a discussion and we talked about my cataracts and I told her that they indeed were bothering me substantially but that if they didn't meet Medicare criteria I would wait because I was not going to pay out-of-pocket to have them removed. She said they are nearly at the point And that at this time next year she sure they would be eligible for surgery. She understood that considering I pay for insurance that I didn't want to also have to pay out of pocket for the removal. I appreciated that she didn't push or question that. She then asked me if I wanted a written prescription, which I did and she then gave me directions on how to get back to the front and dismissed me. I got out to the reception area with no problem. I was totally shocked when they asked me if I wanted a written prescription because it would be $45. I have never had to pay separately for a prescription in my entire life. I know they build my insurance for the exam and I guess at all the other places I went it was included. I did want it in case I wanted to get new glasses as my other prescription was expired so I did pay the $45. They printed the rx out and gave it to me. We set an appointment for next year at this time which I may or may not have to change but why not. I was very impressed and was shocked to determine that I had been in there for two hours. I would definitely recommend it and I am glad that I am reestablished with a local optometrist and someone that can take care of my Cataracs when they are ready!!!!

I came in for a second opinion -- something any competent physician should respect -- and before even examining me, he made it clear he thought I was wasting his time. He greeted me in an incredibly dismissive tone and immediately said, "You're here for a second opinion? I'm going to tell you the exact same thing as the other doctor," without even examining me first. During the exam, he refused to explain what he was doing. When I asked a simple question for clarification before he started, he said, "Don't worry about it, you'll find out." That level of arrogance is unacceptable from anyone, let alone a physician. I work in the medical field, and I have never encountered a doctor who behaved with such blatant disrespect and unprofessionalism. His demeanor was condescending, dismissive, and it has no place in patient care. I will not be returning, and I strongly recommend others think twice before scheduling with him.
