Nice spot in the Tyler mall food court. I kept hearing good things about but was hesitant to try until I saw that they make the ramen noddles fresh in the morning and you can definitely taste that. The black garlic tonkotsu ramen had lots of flavor and it came with two pieces of pork, half an egg, bamboo shoots and mushroom. Holy cow, its honestly a crime that this place isn't packed with a line down the food court. I've eaten at a lot of noodle/dumpling houses, including Din Tai Fung. I was worried when I approached and saw how slow they were at lunch time but I was blown away by the quality. First of all they make their noodles in house fresh. You can taste it in the quality. The soup itself came loaded with beef, fresh baby bok choy and customizable spice (I got medium and it was perfect). I got the combo that came with 4 dumplings and a drink and it was 20$ it also came with soy, chili and black vinegar to dip the dumplings in! Honestly? Must say, one of the best bowls of soup we've had, and we just spent 4 weeks in Cambodia, Japan, and Taiwan.
