Definitely worth a stop if you are anywhere near it and looking for a good source of military surplus items. About the only "complaint" I have is one common for military surplus shops, they have very desirable items on display that are not for sale! I know it adds to the ambiance of the store, but it kills me when I see something I really want but cannot buy it! :D Luckily, at U.S. Surplus they have such a great selection it makes up for the items that aren't for sale!

As I recall, the sales rep was cautiously watching my reaction, when he scanned and stole my information. Sportsman policy is to never asked for the customer's info, just steal it. I thought scanning my info was another violation of my constitutional rights by the state. But the state does not require copied or reported data, just a visually confirmation of the buyer's age. Very deceptive product and product description: "...these panels are compatible with other handguards with MIL-STD-1913 rail systems." Not true; more accurate to say these panels fit AROUND any MIL-STD-1913 rail system but ONLY lock into an authentic Knight's Armament Company rail system. If your rail is not an authentic KAC rail, these panels will slide onto the rails but not lock into place. Therefore these rail panels slide around uselessly on non-KAC rails. However, authentic KAC rails ($250 apiece new) have additional milling cut into them specifically for their proprietary rail covers. Look it up... wish I did. But more importantly, I wish Mod Armory listed that important fact in their product description.

Like others have said, do NOT come here!!!! We bought a BRAND NEW, 2026 camper and when driving it home, the slide was broken and actually came out driving down the road! They also left notes in the camper that stated the door had been damaged on transport but was not fixed. Several other things were broken after we did our own inspection because they try to fly through it hoping you don't see all the issues. We took our camper back in and dropped it off with all the issues explained. We were told someone would be on it asap to get it checked out, that was 4 weeks ago with no call backs and no follow ups. Husband just drove two hours to talk to someone in person and told us still haven't even looked at it. WORST customer service I have ever experienced. These guys literally do not care and fairly certain this email they tell you to complain to is a joke as well. Again, DO NOT COME HERE!!!!!!
