Amazing soft fluffy tastes unbelievably good!

Driving home from Maine - needed a break and a coffee ...following signs for DD but instead of a left I made a right and it was the BEST find ever ! I will be back - the best donuts I have ever had and the coffee ( iced) was amazing! What a lucky find ...go search this place out and stay away from the other donut place ... MASTER blows them away with freshness taste size and variety! Ohhh the choices ! Women behind counter were awesome ! Thank you for the experience

Best Apple Fritter in RI!!!! Only $1.89

I just found the best Apple Fritter in the state!!! I'm an Apple Fritter purist and this is the best I had....and only $1.89!!!! Master Homemade doughnuts are so old school and slightly better than Allie's in my opinion. The Cinnamon Roll ($1.89) was also perfection and their Old Fashioned was fire!! Can't find cheaper prices than this place. Soooo glad I found this place. Lot less known compared to other doughnuts shops like Knead, PVD and Allies so there's never a line.

Speechless I just picked up my first dozen donuts from this place. I've been craving donuts and don't feel like waiting in line for Allies. I'm not a huge fan of those heavy cake donuts so while I appreciate the craftsmanship of a donut from Knead or PVD, I don't find those donuts craveable I was pleasantly surprised at the creative selection offered. There were plenty of cake donuts for those who like that sort of thing, along with a few crullers and bear claws. I went straight for the case with the raised donuts. There were options like cinnamon crunch, maple bacon and chocolate coconut. I've since tried all 3. I'm about to go into a sugar coma because I can't stop eating these donuts. The maple bacon is a confirmed favorite here but I have loved them all. I think they're better than Allies, which pains me to say because I don't want to dis an institution. Now I just need to find out if they make donut cake... Highly recommend. Let's keep this place in business!

Love this hidden find in Warwick! I ordered a sausage and egg breakfast sandwich with mango bubble tea for breakfast. They were busy but the drive through was slow. Food took awhile to get but definitely worth it.

AMAZING!!! Their honey glazed are my favorite, whether as a twist or a classic doughnut... especially when still warm!! Their jelly filled, sprinkles, coconut and bear claws are also delicious when available. Ive tasted nothing I didn't like here and usually will select what's available to try. The staff is very nice and helpful, definitely my favorite doughnut shop in RI..and they take credit cards!! Win win.

Umm, donuts! Or doughnuts? Whatever, this new branch of the West Warwick original is just as good and will give Allie's a run for its money. The NK branch needs a bit of a refurbishment with the landscaping and parking area (and the former drive-thru is not operational) but it's nice to see a high quality donut shop back in the former Tim Horton's location (and former Mediterranean restaurant). Master also offers good coffee, iced coffees, and boba teas as a bonus. But it's all about the donuts, right? They are, simply, good. We had a half-dozen assortment of their jelly, glazed, cream puff, boston cream, cinnamon, and a chocolate strawberry jelly. Now I won't say I ate all of them, but I certainly had a taste of each (I wheedled a bite from the kids - no, not ashamed at all!). All good, especially liked the jellies used. Okay, time to hit the gym and see the dentist!

Beyond amazing and Sister Monita has a wonderfully beautiful friendly spirit! Truly enjoyed the mini donut holes

    The big reveal....

If you are hesitant let me reassure you that you need to swing into Master Homemade Donuts on Post Road in North Kingstown and select a delicious dozen of these masterfully made donuts. Yes, we understand that Dunkin is convenient and that there are other local choices but one taste of these soft, airy and delicious donuts will help you understand why MHD is on their way to becoming a main player in the donut game. They have a good selection of donuts from old fashioned cake to raised & glazed. The frostings and sprinkles are colorful and tasty. The customer service is excellent, they are patient (especially with us that take donut selection seriously) and their happiness adds to the experience. The experience is well worth the trip.

a variety of donuts in a box

Master Homemade Donuts, post rd NK try to place in North Kingstown for the donuts the Boston cream are the bomb the lemon filled are to die for the jelly filled will make your mouth water and the rest are just oh so good..PVD Donuts needs to check you all out. 110% better and 18.18 a dozen

I love that they change their seasonal menu and decor throughout the year. It keeps every visit feeling fresh and fun. The staff is one of the best parts of the experience. They're friendly, genuine and honest. They recognized us when we walked in, remembered their regular customers by name and even knew many of their usual orders. That level of service is so impressive and really makes you feel welcome. I stuck with my tried-and-true favorite, the gluten-free Johnnycake with sausage, poached eggs and hollandaise. It was just as delicious as I remembered. Once again the portions were generous enough for leftovers. This time I also tried the gluten-free cinnamon roll with butter. Flavorful and delicious! (And yes, butter really does make everything better! ) I'll continue to rave about Mae's Place and can't wait to come back to try one of the gluten-free bagels or wraps next. Was told this is the norm in the summer and they were closing at 9pm (vs usual 11pm) because of it, which seemed fair. The bartender was very friendly and my hot n dirty vodka martini (olive and banana pepper juice) was delicious and well worth the $12 price tag. I cozied up on a leather chair with my book and enjoyed my time there. A few others trickled in but it stayed quiet. The bar stools were also extremely comfy. Coffeeshop: the next morning (Saturday around 10) I came in with my toddler for coffee and food. She was on a mission and there was lots for her to explore. Wish there was a gate or some sort of deterrant between the main area and the kitchen. I had a specialty coffee (chai, toffee syrup, espresso) and while yummy, a bit pricey. The same goes for my lox bagel (jalapeno). I also don't like that everything is served in disposable cups and plates. Go green! Service was okay - not very personable but I guess being busy can do that. If just reviewing the bar, I'd give full marks but the coffeeshop wasn't quite as a home run. Will absolutely come back, though! Outdoor area seems nice, too.

They now have a $10 cocktail specials menu, but every time I or my friends have ordered off it, the item we want has an ingredient that's out of stock, and they have to substitute it for something else. Seems like they run into inventory issues? Service at the bar can take quite a while. There's only ever one bartender working, even on busy trivia nights, and I hate having to awkwardly stand at the end of the bar waiting to be served, and then waiting for my drink. The girl that's usually there is a sweetie pie and so helpful, but they really need to have more than one bartender at a time. The fact that the cafe coffee shop part isn't open when the bar part is is just a missed opportunity. I'd order their latte specials at 7 pm on a Thursday over and over, but you can't. They also don't have any food options except some super snacky light bites at night when the bar is open - missed money opportunity, people would get baked goods and sandwiches etc later at night! The furniture is pretty comfy and coffee shop like, but the low back and cushion placement on the couch is so uncomfortable to me, and the large soft chairs are way too deep so I can't either sit forward or comfortably sit back without my feet sticking in the air. Just very awkward furniture. I'd like to come during the coffee shop hours to try a latte since their specials always sound fun and are seasonal, but their set up just annoys me - I want to get a latte and then a cocktail 30 minutes later on the same visit, not have to come at the exact right time of day. There's room for improvement for sure. I also wish their trivia was displayed on a screen as it can be very loud and hard to understand the questions when they are only spoken verbally. Easy location off a main road, and the bathrooms are always very clean and well stocked.
