Basically I had forgotten how to make them play. Plus I had bought new TVs. So I decided to call him for help. Until that time I thought everything was dated and obsolete and I had to give up on them. When Richard came to the house, he brought them back to life. In the bedroom, he explained to me, what buttons to chose from the TV remote, for videos or dvds and how to go back to the TV screen. In the living room, the DVD Player (for two regions) relatively new, was working but without color. The only thing I could see was black and white. Then some miracle happened. He pushed something from behind and the color came back. The VCR was connected to a new TV and was always on 73. When he told me to switch to 03, ooh la, la my old videos were playing again. But life for me is never easy, when I tried to remove the video tape got stuck inside. Richard got out his screw driver and started unscrewing the top of the VCR and removed the tape and straight up the ribbon. He showed me also what button to push to alternate between TV and VCR. Basically because of Richard I don't have to throw anything in the garbage, sorry I meant recycle. When he left, I played Mick Jagger's dvd of his greatest hits from his solo work, a few times and I felt young again. What a joy. Life is good again.  Now, back to the World Cup

I went to this place trying to get my computer diagnosed and repaired in July last year. Also, they promised a date when the fan would be available, and I believed it. However, when the day came, they said they would need another few days. Using the computer was very important to me, so I got annoyed and switched to another place. At the new place, I was told the issue with my computer was because of a completely different reason, and they helped me repair it smoothly. Glad that the delay helped me avoid further loss with this unreliable KY electronics. Unfortunately, although the diagnosis result was a complete error. I was not refunded for the diagnosis fee. Edit: The business owner replied saying that my job was on May 29, 2024, which is completely false. I wasn't even at the Bay Area during that time. Either he intentionally mixed me up with someone else or simply made up the story. Apparently, I have no point of making up a negative review if being satisfied as the customer, but the business owner has full motivation to respond to negative reviews by making up stories when he cannot reasonably dispute it, and it seems he has been doing it for many other reviews as well.

I called them at 5:50pm and spoke with Ray "I think he is the owner" anyway I told him what was going on and he said to come on down and that he would wait for me. When I arrived I noticed that they have a big Yelp banner on the window, I walked in and spoke with Ray about the problem and showed him a picture of what the error was, he was up front with me and explained that if the hard drive was bad that he would not be able to save my data. I told him to do his best to save my data. The next day he texted me with a quote and said that he would be able to fix it and save my data. I told him to fix it. About 3 hours later he texted me again and said to come on by and pick it up. Now when I arrived he didn't just give me my computer and send me on my way, he sat me down and explained that I have 3 different options to save my data just in case the hard drive or computer crashes in the future. He also said that if I'm not sure how to back up the hard drive or need help with anything to call him and he would walk me through it. When all was said and done, he charged me $299 out the door and my machine is working flawlessly!! Thank you Ray! You got a customer for life.
