I worked for Kurt Raz at another locations years ago in my younger years so I got to know the Raz family a little.

I'll never forget my man Jason…read more I brought my Nissan Sentra 2014 in this week due to a sudden check engine light and to get an unpleasant noise under the hood looked at. All these problems surfaced after the snowfall not too long ago. Jason and team were diligent with their inspection and unfortunately it turns out I have transmission problems. I've elected to sell my vehicle instead of going ahead with a repair. Despite this I had a great experience. I particularly appreciate Jason for his professionalism, candor, and friendliness throughout the process

I had an alternator belt go out on me about two years ago. They replaced it quickly, no problems,…read morepain free. Two full years later the alternator belt goes again. It's on the street somewhere, nothing left, so we have no idea what happened...a rodent? Bad belt? Bad luck? Who knows. I don't drive this car much, so even though it had been two years, it was only about 6k miles. I brought it to them (limped in) and left it overnight since it was after hours. They agreed that they couldn't tell why it failed, but had a new alternator belt on it later that day. When I went to pick it up, I pulled out my credit card. He said "nope" and just shook my hand. It wasn't a lot of miles, but it had been two years, they had no belt to inspect and they still fully covered the work. I've never worked with an auto shop like that. If your biggest concern when choosing a shop is trust, these are your guys.

I found Tom Dwyer Auto via raving reviews on Reddit and decided to give them a shot to try to…read morediagnose the source of my water leak. I also added a comprehensive exam (which they offered at a discounted rate) for them to look at my car as a whole and to let me know what things might need repair now and in the near future. They were able to see my car within a week of me reaching out for an appt, and they only kept my car for ~5 hours. They tried everything they could to find the source of my leak, but when they couldn't, they referred me to Liberty Water Leak, who was fantastic and found the sources of my leak and water damage within a few hours. With the comprehensive exam, they listed each item that needed repair and were not pushy AT ALL. They also answered all of my questions, yes... even the dumb ones. There was an oversight where my wiper cowlings were not installed correctly, so I did leave an honest review on SureCritic saying that I wasn't sure if I'd trust them with further repairs due to that mistake. Within a week of posting that review, the shop called me to apologize and discuss what happened. On top of that, they refunded me my entire bill. I understand now why Tom Dwyer Auto has such good reviews-- They genuinely care about their customers and producing quality work. I am grateful to have been treated with respect, not taken advantage of as a female, and for their determination to correct the mistakes made. Thank you again!

Did not want to service my car because apparently "it's too rusty underneath." Wasted my time…read more Edit: To the response-- It was for a simple oil change and check up. If a car mechanic company can't do an oil change or check up like yours, there's something wrong. Trust has been already ruined, and my time has already been wasted. The same day I was able to get my oil changed by a better more brave mechanic. Still would not recommend Tom Dwyer.
