I just bought my first house about two weeks ago and man, I already miss the days of calling apartment maintenance whenever anything goes wrong. Case in point: last week my garage door wouldn't go down and I had to frantically find someone to at least help me get it closed until I could get it repaired. So after parking in the driveway for the last few days and scraping tree sap off of it every morning, I decided I better man up and get this figured out. Stuart responded almost immediately and had someone scheduled to come out at 8:30am today. The service technician arrived promptly at 7:50am. A little early, but always better to be early than late, right? Lucky for him, I threw some clothes on before answering the door so he wouldn't be scarred for life :) Less than two hours later, my garage opener has been replaced (the motor went out in my old one) and I can safely park my car inside again (well, after a good car wash anyway). Stuart, the owner has been very communicative, even during my service call via the Yelp app and made sure that everything went smoothly. Have been dealing with a couple rooms above the garage being warmer than the rest for years now. They suggested the polyurethane injected door and offered it at a very competitive price. Last Saturday we called MasterCraft to schedule a service call. We were greeted with Danielle to replace a broken garage door spring. She was very courteous, friendly, and professional. Prior to and after the repair she performed an inspection of our garage door and found some cracks. She explained how the cracks are affecting the garage door when it is opened and closed and suggested that it be replaced. We had her provide a quote that listed all parts and their warranty. We had a great experience with Mastercraft after a spring broke on our garage door. Initially, we called another company for an estimate, and the experience was awful. We called Mastercraft next. From the phone call to the completion of the repair, we were impressed. Pros: 1. Free Service call - no hidden fees (the other guys charge a hefty fee and forget to tell you until they get out to your house). 2. Quote over the phone (the other guys wouldn't). 3. I guess I'm not the only fan of Korey! My garage door spring broke last week. I found these guys on Yelp and I'm glad I did. I called and told them what I needed and they gave me a quote right over the phone. They scheduled a 1-hour time block for the technician to arrive on the next business day. My technician was Kory. He arrived on time, repaired the spring AND added a second spring at no additional charge (we have a double garage and I guess builders will sometimes install only 1 spring instead of 2 in order to save a few bucks). I just have to say THAT is impressive. Kory also lubed the track and adjusted the alignment at no extra charge and without being asked. The door works better now than it has since I can remember. Around 5pm I had an issue with my garage door opener. I searched Yelp and found MasterCraft. I spoke with a very nice lady and she made me an 8am appt the next morning. Jonathan showed up very polite and nice. He was able to fix it (something i should have been able to do). He showed me how to fix it if were to happen again. He told me we have an older opener but not to worry about replacing it until it totally stops working! He could have tried to sell me a new one, but I could see his honesty that didn't need one now. I asked what I owed and he said NOTHING! Of course I wanted to pay for his services so he did accept a tip. I was very impressed with his kindness and integrity. My garage door won't open or close because the trolley is broken. I called MasterCraft and talked to Stuart on Friday at 5pm. Jordan came on Saturday at 8am. He gave me different options for the repairs. I chose to have the trolley replaced only. He also checked all the other components to make sure they are in good working order. I confirmed an appointment for October 25th at 10am to Noon on their scheduling in Yelp and it was confirmed. After no one showed up I called them and they said the appointment was not confirmed because I was questioning their pricing they were giving me over chat. Of course I am going to question it is my money and I am the customer. That doesnt mean I canceled the appointment for the estimated work and quote. I called MasterCraft after seeing them on Yelp and I'm so glad I did. We just bought a house and the guy wanted an opener unit on our 3rd garage door. They were able to get me an appointment for Saturday (I called on a Thursday afternoon), and Jonathan actually was able to come early because someone else cancelled (their loss!). He called first to find out if it was ok to come by early. When he arrived he was patient and waited for my fiance to come back from an errand he was running (since he was the decision maker on the garage situation anyway). He recommended that we replace the two exiting units as they're from about 1999, but we decided to hold off a bit because we just moved in, but it's a definite possibility that we will in the near future. Jonathan tuned up the existing openers and explained why the clicker we bought wouldn't work with the existing units (or the new one, it turns out). We will definitely call MasterCraft back when we're ready to replace the other two units. read more

If I could give them 10 Stars I would! Garage door spring snapped in the middle of the night. Didn't know it until we wanted to leave today, garage door won't open even with the manual release. I called MasterCraft and spoke with Nigel. He said he could be out within the hour and quoted an approximate cost based on what I described. He was not only here within that time frame he called from the road to confirm he was on his way. He arrived, replace the spring, and the invoice was exactly what he said it would be. Very polite and personable young man, definitely an asset to MasterCraft. Plus there is a 6 year transferrable warranty on the work he did today. It just doesn't get any better than that! Yesterday, I was shopping for a new garage opener, springs, cables and bearings (yes, the whole shebang). Sent a Yelp message to MasterCraft and received a prompt reply from the owner; Stuart. He was extremely responsive and very customer-oriented. They were the only company I found to offer a free inspection, everyone else charged a fee. In addition, they had the most competitive price and scheduled install for the very next day! Today was the install, the tech; Korey called 30 minutes prior to arrival and replaced everything in 2-hours. He helped me set-up my keypad, put in new bulbs, lubed up the hinges, explained the warranty and gave me a user guide. I immediately received an email receipt with the warranty outlined. Within 24-hours, I no longer have a rattling track, or have to run in / out the garage to close the door. It is so much more quieter with the belt vs the former clunky chain. These guys came out to replace the molding/trim, seals, and also tune up both of my garage doors. During the process, part of the exterior stucco got damaged around the top door molding.
