I originally wrote a negative review of this company when the driver failed to pick me up to go to the airport. However, I was impressed that the owner (Eddie), called to follow up on the review and reimbursed me for the taxi ride I took to the airport. I appreciate that the owner did his best to make up for a mistake. In a world full of large and impersonal companies, I get the sense that this is a real small business with an owner trying to do the best he can for his clients. read more

I can't believe I'm just now giving my review of Masterpiece because they were amazing!! My mom booked our service with them when we traveled to San Diego for my graduation ceremony, and their service was impeccable. The owner Eddie personally picked us up from the airport the evening we arrived, and he was so great I knew we'd be in good hands. We used Masterpiece a few different other times throughout our trip - getting to and from my ceremony, getting back to the airport at the end of our trip, and for a general tour of San Diego. Our driver for the tour, Chris, was outstanding, personable and knowledgable. He was fun, kind and didn't have any problems answering our numerous, touristy questions. The day we returned back to the airport, we had a very early pickup due to the Rock 'N Roll marathon, but our driver (whose name I unfortunately don't remember) was very nice and cheerful even at that early hour! He even helped us with curbside check in, which was no small feat since I was headed back to Vegas and my family was going on another flight with another airline. It's obvious Eddie and his drivers really care about providing top notch service, and if I ever need transportation services in San Diego again, you can be sure I'll use Masterpiece! read more

So I called up this place to try and book a limo for my wedding wrong!!!!! basically I was told I can only have the limo during the day on a Saturday but cant pass 5:00pm because all limos needed to be back by then. Unpleasant man on the phone explained to me it's prom season there trying to save the nights for prom kids that are going be calling and reserving limos wow like I should've of been aware of that. Then the guy tells me the only way to get the limo pass 5:00pm is if I pay premiums $$$$$ I would have priority over the kids renting limos for prom.What business denies money I guess this place doesn't go by first come first serve. Masterpiece Limosine did an awesome job for my wife and I during our wedding and reception. They were on time and provided exceptional service. Whatever the bride wanted on that day the Driver (who my two best men dubbed "Jeeves") got and did for her. Jeeves waited for the bride.... and waited....and waited with no complaints, he picked up some friends along the way since we had extra space, and even stopped into a store (with a small parking lot) to get us more champagne and ice. We were gifted a stretched limo, our sons were super excited, and a standard sedan showed up. The ride was a gift. We came to find out that our host was charged for a stretched limo anyway. This was NOT right. I could care less, but my two sons were looking forward to a rock star ride to the airport, and we're really disappointed. The fact that no one told our host that he overpaid wasn't revealed because he is a powerful business man in San Diego, and this would be a very, very, bad thing for this company. Reserving a dependable limo on New Year's Eve is always a risky situation. One name you should always trust is Masterpiece Limo. The reservation service was a breeze, even when we had to change the pick up location. Our driver, Chris, was outside our building on time and expertly navigated a crowded Gaslamp District to get us to our destination right on time. Chris was personable, but very professional. When we were ready to head home, Chris was right in front of the club to guide us to the car and whisk us home, leaving behind hundreds of party goers hoping to find a stray taxi. The car was spotless, stocked with water and other drinks and just the perfect way to get around on New Year's Eve. Eddie, who owns the company helped schedule the long detailed day of moving around at least 26 people! I had goofed and forgot to confirm ..I was so upset with myself thinking I would have to go out 4 weeks before the wedding and line up limos!!! We had an all around excellent experience with Masterpiece Limo during a recent tour of the beautiful Temecula countryside and wineries. The key to their mastery of luxury transportation is simple: customer service. From before the wine tour began they were responsive to every request as well as very accessible when we needed them the most. Eddie and Antonio we on top of every decision that needed to be made as well as suggestions that other wine tours had used. Also, when plans were in limbo, Masterpiece limo was flexible with all the requests and understanding when things had to change. The wine tour itself was excellent. The limo arrived on time and very clean. The size that was recommend was the exact size we needed. As plans were changed on the fly, Masterpiece was very flexible again. They provided updates if we encountered a delay on the freeway and reasonable expectations with wine tasting times at each winery per the size of our group. All in all I was not just satisfied but surprised at the exceptional level of care and consideration taken by a limo company to ensure that the passengers has the best experience possible. Well I was hoping for a great experience from Chris and Eddie, and it started out well on the phone and email, but here I am writing a review on Yelp. They both seemed very concerned that my party of 12 for 8 full hours of wine tasting would be comfortable and I was told and shown on the receipts that I was getting a 20 passenger limo, but got a real Master Piece of Shit 14 passenger one. VERY uncomfortable. Headliner falling, no padding on seats, dirty, and way too small for my party. I was embarrassed to have provided this to my friends and family. It also had a bald front tire so I had worries of safety all day. Driver was a fill in from another company, but I think he was not told tip was included in my qoute from Chris as he hounded my guests for a tip. He also asked me for a trash bag afterwards and cleaned out the car at my house then gave me the bag to throw away. Very unprofessional. I asked to speak with Eddie about my unhappiness and was told he was in meetings. I said I would wait and it's been a week with no call. They got my money so why talk to me afterwards, right? However, the driver parked too far away, as we were left waiting over an hour for pickup, standing on the sidewalk with the graduate's elderly grandfather. I was referred to them by another company who couldn't meet our needs for a group of 15 ladies in town for a bachelorette party and it could not have worked out better. He quoted me a price for the Hummer limo and honored our verbal agreement throughout the entire process, never once wavering or changing the rules. He provided champagne for our girls' night out on the town, which just added to the special occasion. Even more, Eddie isn't the only awesome part of Masterpiece, because our driver Adam was amazing. He was kind and easygoing, and even acted as a bodyguard when a group of guys tried to approach our limo and talk to us. Adam was NOT going to let that happen! Another very satisfied Eddie customer! Our group of ten booked a hummer limo for a birthday wine tasting. Eddie arrived on time in an immaculate ride, ac, great sound system and stocked up with bottled ice water. He quickly helped load our cooler and off we went to the vineyards. It just so happened that there was a festival happening in the wine valley that Saturday, so the crowds were large. No worries though, Eddie had us sailing in and out of the wineries with no wait or issue. Our second winery was just so so and Eddie took us to a third and gave us some extra time to make sure we ended on a great note. He waived the 45 minutes of extra limo time on top of everything else. We will definitely use Masterpiece again, good fair prices and really excellent service. AND we learned that Masterpiece is experienced and licensed for transporting minors, great news for a potential 15th birthday that's coming up for my niece. My experience with Masterpiece Limousine couldn't have been any better. They were very helpful from the moment I booked the reservation to the day of the transfer. Eddie picked me up from Ensenada Port and took me to the Tijuana Airport. The service and hospitality were outstanding. Despite my late arrival to the Ensenada Port Eddie was patient and understanding and waited till I cleared customs (almost 2 hours later) from my arrival time. Once he picked me up it was a smooth ride to Tijuana. Eddie was very professional while still being very personable and attentive. The conversation for the long drive truly made the experience all the better. I hope to be in the San Diego area again and will definitely be contacting Masterpiece Limousine. Best Service Ever. Definetly should give these guys a try if your looking for limo services. I would go to them over and over again as long as I keep needing limos. lol. Anyways so we used these guys a couple years back when they were located in santee. It was for my 15 bday and omg i was looking for a big limo cause i needed to fit over 20 people. My color of my dress was pearl kinda like ivory i guess. So my mom didnt want a white or black limo since they were more wedding type. Anyways the guy i believe the owner gave us a great deal on a hummer. He has a limo the color of my dress but he was in the process of selling it so he said he would most likely not have it by my party. He said it the limo would only fit 14 people although it did fit more. The limo was there earlier and the driver allowed us to fit as many people as we could. wid kids sitting on the floor and everything. So overall it was about a party of 30. The driver followed instructions and he was overall nice. Unlike other limo drivers who say but, if, it aint possible, etc. And the owner was so nice he sent the hummer the color of my dress. What i loved about the limo was that it didnt have like stickers on the window or anything promoting the business as other limos seem to have there company logos. Prompt! Courteous! Professional! I organized a night on the town with a group of friends and the safe method of travel was a limo. I called Masterpiece Limo and Eddie and Antonio took care of everything! They suggested restaurants and neighborhood bars. They sent email confirmation of the pick up times and location and even called the day of and the driver (Clint) called when the he was en route. The limo was stocked with ice and glasses so we could mix our cocktails. Clint was professional and did everything expected of a limo driver. He got us to the restaurant on time and in style. We stayed local and when it was time to head home we made a quick phone call and he was quick to pick us up. He took several pictures of the group and made sure we got home safely. Their prices are reasonable and competitive and when you are splitting it amongst other couples it is well worth it. Have fun and be safe doing it. And the FUN was there from the first phone call with Eddie for the planning through the Temecula wine tasting trip. Our wine tasting was an outing for the women in our firm to get a chance to have fun and Masterpiece Limousine did not disappoint! Eddie is very well-connected with the Temecula wine region and did an amazing job at choosing the wineries for us, providing great food, snacks and drinks for the drive up, and just coordinating the whole thing. The party bus was awesome and our driver, Eric, was so nice and helpful. We are making this an annual event and - WITHOUT A DOUBT - we are making Masterpiece Limousine part of it every year!! Everyone thanked me and raved about the event - all I did was place a call to Eddie and he made it happen!
