Ive been to Noe several times and he is hands down the best Ive been to in Houston. You cant beat the experience and the great conversations that he brings to this place. His prices are too low for such a quality cut and you cant help but tip the man before leaving. (The only reason Ive been to others since is because I dont always have cash on me and he only takes cash but usually I end up mad at myself for letting some fruffy salon trainee cut my hair. Noe is fast, he's friendly, and he does a great job. I've been here three times. Each time I leave smiling, because he cuts my hair exactly the way I want it. I'm usually in and out within 10-12 minutes. It's located in a small warehouse-type building in an industrial strip along Karbach St. Parking directly in front of the building along the street. $12 men's cut. I went a few weeks ago based on the ratings, Noe was fast and really knowledgeable. He was a very good conversationalist, it was like a hole in the wall place. It was $12 cash plus tip. Noe is the man. Was seated the minute I walked in the door, and through some kind of sorcery was out of this place in a matter of like ten minutes with the best haircut I've had in a while. I showed him a picture of what I wanted and he delivered 1000%. Noe's barbershop is a top notch place to get your haircut. It's a little off the beaten path so parking is a non-issue, and it's only $12 for a great, quick haircut. He's a super friendly guy and makes you feel comfortable the second you walk in. He's got great skills and is a great conversationalist. The place is cash only so be prepared for that, and it's a smaller shop so if enough people are there it could be close quarters. As I was getting my cut done there were about 6-7 people waiting after me and they probably took up all the remaining seats in the shop. Overall a great place. Another great and fast haircut from Noe. I get mine done on my lunch break. In and out in a few minutes. Remembered me after my second visit almost a month apart and cuts hair great. Noe is also a huge movie buff and we laugh about the reality tv shows like parking wars and the pawn shop shows. One time when I was getting a cut we were watching storage wars and one of the units looked like it had a vault in it. He finished my haircut before the commercials ended so I couldn't see what was in it so I asked him what was in it the next time I came. NOTHING. those shows are hilarious. read more

Master's Barber Shop is a small one-man shop held together by one of the nicest person you'll ever meet. His name is Noe. Noe is one of the better barbers I've found in Houston. He always gives me a decent cut and for the quality of the cut and the price you pay its a good deal. At the more expensive barbershops sure you get better service and they take their time to get your hair perfect but you always get your wallet brutally molested. No-e just hooked it up. No, I am not a hipster looking for a David Beckham cut but after spending a month in the jungles of South and Central America, this dood needed a haircut. This is not a chic-ass bougie hair salon. It is a barber shop and dood does you proper. I needed my hair cut shorter(I run a terrain park in NW Montana) and have to adhere to company grooming standards. Showed him a picture of my passport from when I was 18(almost 10 years old) and he did it just how I wanted him to. Karbach Brewery is right down the street and No-e likes his beer so bring him a fresh cerveza for a tip. At $12 a cut, tip the man, talk to him(he's cool as hell), and tell your friends.
