Our cabin exceeded our expectations in every way, there's sooo many incredible amenities and things to do and Samantha told us everything about the new Bio Spa and if I wasn't already excited to run back here as soon as possible I definitely am now. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because my wife and I both use CPAP machines and there weren't enough electrical outlets near the bed so we had to borrow an extension cord from Aaron. The breakfast was well done; they had scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon and sausage in addition to waffles, cereal and rolls. They had coffee, tea and different kinds of juice as well as fresh fruit (bananas and oranges). Definitely a good place to stay.

We immediately went to speak to the manager on duty and we were told the "manager" is just the owner of the hotel and is rarely onsite. The employee gave us her phone number. I called her and explained the situation. Clearly, we could no longer stay in a bedbug infested room so we needed to check out to find a different place to stay. The owner was rude and extremely defensive and was unwilling to reimburse for the days we stayed. She even accused us that we brought the bugs in ourselves! The staff informed us that this was a common occurrence and it's been an ongoing issue. They also said that the owner has no idea what's going on at the hotel or how to run it. Apparently after the hotel manager had quit and the owner didn't replace her but instead chose to "manage" the property herself which she was not doing.

Just got back from a week at Sun Lakes Park Resort. So nice! Spacious sites for our camping…read moretrailer, perfectly groomed lawns, clean bathrooms and so much to do. Our friends stayed in a cabin so we were able to check that out too. While it wasn't the Ritz it was clean, spacious and comfortable. The resort is close to activities, food and sites. We were a little early in the season for some of the Resort's concessions but we still had access to the store and gift-shop. The day before left the grill opened and we had excellent burgers for lunch. What a great week!

There was a live bat in our bathroom when we arrived. The door took 5 minutes each time to unlock its handle was so old. The bed was as hard as the floor. While driving to our tent site there were a couple of things that I noticed: A camper across from us was staring us down, and we were the only non-white people there. (only two of us). We got there around 5pm. While checking out our tent site, there was a "Lawn Watering Schedule" posted on a tree. It was scheduled for Monday-Friday at 1am, 2:30am, and 4am for our site. In the middle of the night, I heard the sprinkler and thought it was weird that it was on because it was Saturday . I eventually went back to sleep since we only had our camping chairs by the picnic table side. I was then awakened once more because the sprinkler started spraying on the tent area side. The water did get inside but luckily we were able to move it in time before it got drenched. I looked around and noticed the sprinkler was only on for our site and two nearby us. We ended up sleeping in the car for the rest of the night, since there wasn't anyone that we could address this to at that time- around 3am.(which ruined the camping experience) The following morning, my girlfriend spoke to the office manager Cindy, to inform of what happened. She was not helpful and didn't seem apologetic at all. She mentioned that it shouldn't have been on and the only way was if someone had turned it on. Also said that it's not scheduled for the weekend. Which begs the question, why was it only on our site/area and why was it pointing to the camping ground...
