We got a room with two beds separated by a partial wall to create the feeling of two separate bedrooms. There was also a decent sized mini fridge, microwave and table and chairs. One of the "bedrooms" had a TV and next to each bed were a couple of nightstands. The bathroom was small but not cramped, and the shower water pressure felt incredible. We stayed on the second floor with a view of the water from the room. This room must've been remodeled because everything looked modern. I would definitely stay here again! It worked out really well for two adults and two small kids. Also on the property are picnic tables overlooking the water for you to enjoy a snack or a meal. Booking and checking in were seamless too. Free parking and WiFi, and walking distance to restaurants and a grocery store.

They made sure all our questions were answered and we even stopped 3 of them coming back from their breaks with some inquiries and they were happy to help and came back to our room within minutes. The room itself was gorgeous. The details in the Mexico themed room were so intricate, even down to the resin decor in the counters, the chainsaw carvings and even the ceramic chili peppers on the walls. The 2 person jetted tubs and the duel headed shower were even better. The fact that they have the option to have the mineral or fresh water for the jetter tub was also pretty cool This resort is very clean, the staff is helpful and the lakeside property they have is absolutely beautiful. The exercise/gym room was also pretty stocked. Its small but the machines were new and taken care of. The 2 wooden saunas are also amazing. They have MULTIPLE hot tubs on site, which was also pretty cool. They had a fire pit (we couldn't use it due to the crazy fires) with a lot of seating that overlooks the lake. I honestly couldn't really find a negative thing to say about this place other than I wish they would put lotions in their rooms. The salt from the lake really dries your skin out....but that is kind of expected with all the salt content. TLDR; amazing, friendly and helpful staff, gorgeous views and great amenities. The breakfast was well done; they had scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon and sausage in addition to waffles, cereal and rolls. The day before left the grill opened and we had excellent burgers for lunch. What a great week!

Obtaining the gate key code was a nightmare, they're understaffed. My family rented a cabin for almost $400 a night. The lights were flickering, washing machine didn't work, most outlets didn't work, none of the furniture was comfy and they barely cleaned the cabin. Lipstick on a pig. The new owners are going to run this place in the ground and if code enforcement was called on them they would be shut down so fast, this is coming from a General Contractor who understands that they have serious electrical issues. But don't worry, there are no smoke detectors.

While driving to our tent site there were a couple of things that I noticed: A camper across from us was staring us down, and we were the only non-white people there. (only two of us). We got there around 5pm. While checking out our tent site, there was a "Lawn Watering Schedule" posted on a tree. It was scheduled for Monday-Friday at 1am, 2:30am, and 4am for our site. In the middle of the night, I heard the sprinkler and thought it was weird that it was on because it was Saturday . I eventually went back to sleep since we only had our camping chairs by the picnic table side. I was then awakened once more because the sprinkler started spraying on the tent area side. The water did get inside but luckily we were able to move it in time before it got drenched. I looked around and noticed the sprinkler was only on for our site and two nearby us. We ended up sleeping in the car for the rest of the night, since there wasn't anyone that we could address this to at that time- around 3am.(which ruined the camping experience) The following morning, my girlfriend spoke to the office manager Cindy, to inform of what happened. She was not helpful and didn't seem apologetic at all. She mentioned that it shouldn't have been on and the only way was if someone had turned it on. Also said that it's not scheduled for the weekend. Which begs the question, why was it only on our site/area and why was it pointing to the camping ground...
