One of the "bedrooms" had a TV and next to each bed were a couple of nightstands. The bathroom was small but not cramped, and the shower water pressure felt incredible. We stayed on the second floor with a view of the water from the room. This room must've been remodeled because everything looked modern. I would definitely stay here again! It worked out really well for two adults and two small kids. Also on the property are picnic tables overlooking the water for you to enjoy a snack or a meal. Booking and checking in were seamless too. Free parking and WiFi, and walking distance to restaurants and a grocery store.

Our cabin exceeded our expectations in every way, there's sooo many incredible amenities and things to do and Samantha told us everything about the new Bio Spa and if I wasn't already excited to run back here as soon as possible I definitely am now. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because my wife and I both use CPAP machines and there weren't enough electrical outlets near the bed so we had to borrow an extension cord from Aaron. The breakfast was well done; they had scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon and sausage in addition to waffles, cereal and rolls. They had coffee, tea and different kinds of juice as well as fresh fruit (bananas and oranges). Definitely a good place to stay.

Our friends stayed in a cabin so we were able to check that out too. While it wasn't the Ritz it was clean, spacious and comfortable. The resort is close to activities, food and sites. We were a little early in the season for some of the Resort's concessions but we still had access to the store and gift-shop. The day before left the grill opened and we had excellent burgers for lunch. What a great week!

While driving to our tent site there were a couple of things that I noticed: A camper across from us was staring us down, and we were the only non-white people there. (only two of us). We got there around 5pm. While checking out our tent site, there was a "Lawn Watering Schedule" posted on a tree. It was scheduled for Monday-Friday at 1am, 2:30am, and 4am for our site. In the middle of the night, I heard the sprinkler and thought it was weird that it was on because it was Saturday . I eventually went back to sleep since we only had our camping chairs by the picnic table side. I was then awakened once more because the sprinkler started spraying on the tent area side. The water did get inside but luckily we were able to move it in time before it got drenched. I looked around and noticed the sprinkler was only on for our site and two nearby us. We ended up sleeping in the car for the rest of the night, since there wasn't anyone that we could address this to at that time- around 3am.(which ruined the camping experience) The following morning, my girlfriend spoke to the office manager Cindy, to inform of what happened. She was not helpful and didn't seem apologetic at all. She mentioned that it shouldn't have been on and the only way was if someone had turned it on. Also said that it's not scheduled for the weekend. Which begs the question, why was it only on our site/area and why was it pointing to the camping ground...

Pet-friendly hotel (inquire the cost per night or stay). I believe most people staying tend to come for Gorge events, truck drivers, & nature enthusiasts. Pros: Fairly new hotel that opened in 2021 (?). There is a gas station with a convenience store, Mexican market, taco truck, & coffee stand within walking distance. Have not had an issue ordering an Uber. Lobby lounge opens 3-11pm I think if you want to grab a bite or drink there. Rooms are clean & comfortable. Slept so good after being out in the canyon at 104f weather. Cons: Not much cons except small things. There isn't a closet in the room. You can't open the window. Bathrooms could look more modern but are CLEAN & water works fine. It would be nice to open the window to let air in and out but the room does not smell nor does the hallway. Hallway also has AC. Walls are kinda thin. Neighbors might hear your business. I could hear my neighbors tv during the day & their music. It's faint background noise that's muffled by the wall. I have tried camping at the Gorge during Bass Canyon & it is not for me lol, yes i can hear the room next door but I'll live. This a 5 star or high rated hotel so I'm not surprised by this. If you are a light sleeper or expect to not hear the room next door, spend extra money for a higher rated hotel or resort. Price of hotel with amenities is not bad & for last minute booking literally saved my festival experience. I stayed recently at a different Wyndham property (La Quinta in CA) rated 3 stars & Microtel was such a better experience for a 2 star hotel. I think the hotel property management at this hotel & housekeeping seem to be doing a great job! I appreciate this property!
