This is a great little spot with good service and fair prices. I normally order the half rack of ribs with a side. The ribs are always fall of the bone, bbq sauce is tasty too (10/10) . I recommend ordering an extra side of it. Others have raved about the lamb chops and steak. This venue can also hold larger parties too. We will continue to dine at this establishment. read more

Been by here many many times. Golf lovers spot for sure. There's a whole second floor that looks dark and unused. Ordered a half order Caesar salad, no croutons, a half order Greek salad, horseradish salmon and a Turkey Reuben, side of crispy onion rings. The club soda from the fountain tastes oddly off. The dinner rolls are hard and not super soft or billowy. Heavy dough. The Caesar dressing is made in house, the dressing is good. The lettuce has a few red pieces. The Greek salad isn't quite what I was expecting. It has the feta, beets and the yellow peppers, but it has a half a hard boiled egg and the dressing is not a Greek but rather more of a ranch dressing. The Turkey Reuben is okay. Pumpernickel could be toasted more, it was soggy. A good amount of Turkey and it's decent. Needs more dressing and coleslaw as well. The onion rings are good. Small side though. The horseradish crusted salmon is good. The green beans are nicely cooked. read more

I held my mother's memorial luncheon at Masters. I have to say that from the moment I called until the very last guest left, the staff was very helpful. With a party of 46 (4 over) my final headcount they handled the party with ease. They had menus printed and also offered vegetarian or changes to the 2 entrees I requested. The meal was bread, salad & soup, choice of one entree & dessert. The serving staff paid attention to the water or additional beverage requested. As a young couple new to the area, we've been trying all the different unique spots and this place quickly became a favorite of ours. The ambience is different and comforting, no overstimulating music or TVs. The food is always good quality, especially the steaks, and the prices are very reasonable. Been coming to the Masters since I was wee little youngling. Everything is always delicious from the French onion too serf and turn you can't go wrong. Majority of the staff has been there for a long time as well. This time I ordered the crab legs which were absolutely delicious and my boyfriend got the chicken parmesan which was also delicious. Love this place! One of the best restaurants in the area. They have a unique golf-neighborhood-Cheers vibe and ambiance. The staff is friendly and very attentive. The food is excellent... and I have enjoyed most of the items on their menu. The yellow perch is very good, salmon just right and lamb chops out of this world! I have been here a few times and each time the service and food weakens... The seems aged and not joyful in their duties. They tend to go through the motions and don't seem to have passion for the job. The food is still decent, but not what it was each time before. In July, we dined at the Masters on a Saturday night with a party of eight for a birthday dinner. As we have been there many times in the past The restaurant was surprisingly, not very busy for a Saturday night. We asked when making reservations for Raj to be our server and he was as he's an awesome server. With regards to the host and I believe owner of the restaurant, one our guests who knew him asked Raj to relay a message to the host to come to our table, which he did. Our guest merely wanted to say hello and ask him about another matter at his other restaurant. First of all, the host seemed bothered by being summoned to our table. When he arrived to our table of eight, he totally ignored all of the other guests, as if we weren't even there. No good evening everyone, or anything like that. It was like we weren't even there. Our guest got even worse treatment in my mind based on his curt and short, to the point conversation with her. When that concluded, he simply waled away without uttering a word. While the dinner and food were very good, the incident with the host was most memorable and not in a good way. I may be mistaken, but with a half empty restaurant at 6:30 on a Saturday night, one would think this host would have a better demeanor as The Masters is not "the only game in town". It certainly be sometime before we choose to go there in the future. read more

Summary - this place is a bit outdated, adequate food, and fair service. Been here on a few occasions but just recently came in on Black Friday to celebrate Thanksgiving with my family. We made reservations and there were no issues. Finding the place is easy but there are no scenic views as the restaurant surrounds major roads. If you love golf then this place is for you! Hence, the restaurant's name. Pictures of golfers, golf memorabilia, and lots of dark greens and dark wood make up the decor. The restaurant has two levels which is different than other restaurants. But the bathrooms are downstairs by the lobby. There is a staircase but also an elevator for ADA. However, the elevator is something out of the Tower of Terror. Our server was friendly and attentive. Entrees have good portion sizes but feel a bit heavy and could use an update. The lobster was a disappointment for my mom as the lobster tasted like nothing and she had to us the butter to give some flavor. I went with the ribs and coconut shrimp and was pleased. However, the vegetable medley did not taste like much of anything. The classic wax dessert sample tray made an appearance and there was about 8-10 desserts. Our waiter went through each one. My first time here was for a retirement party. The waitress and host were both absolutely wonderful. Quick service, kind mannerisms and very efficient. All of the food was very delicious although a little on the cooler side (probably because of our party size so can't fault the cooks/servers on that). In this area you're limited with finding a place that serves seriously appetizing, quality food. Give the Masters a try - it will not disappoint! Located on 13 Mile Road just west of Dequindre, the building appears large in person as this restaurant has not one, but TWO levels to dine. The upper level is suitable and frequently used for large groups, such as a group luncheon or shower. They are very accommodating and also have a bar upstairs. They offer a bar on the first floor and the restrooms are also clearly visible under the stairs, by the entrance. Women's restroom is recently remodeled and clean. All employees are pleasant. My most recent visit here was for New Year's Eve. They offered a special menu with their best dishes - appetizers, meals, and desserts. The Greek dressing here is a creamy Greek. My group had kalamari, shrimp & mozzarella sticks for appetizers. Some would say it's hard to mess up kalamari or mozzarella sticks but yes it is possible. Not at The Masters - they have the best mozzarella sticks & kalamari as both have seasoned breading and the cheese / squid tastes fresh. I ordered a medium rare 8 oz filet and my husband ordered the prime rib. We were both very satisfied with our meat! My filet was cooked perfectly and very tender. My husband's prime rib was everything you would wish for prime rib - tender, juicy, large portion, and aesthecially pleasing! Unfortunately we ate so much we couldn't make it to dessert but we are certainly looking forward to coming back and trying other menu items! read more

The service was deplorable. I visited the establishment in December with a group of at least 20 ladies. I enjoyed the fellowship but the disrespect from the manager was certainly uncalled for. While the establishment was playing music we had our own music playing softly. The manager, Nick came up looking to unplugged the devise the music was playing from. Told us we were making too much nose and disturbing the other customers when in facts the other customers were very much unbothered as they were laughing and enjoying their own meal. For starters i did not like the experience there. First, the waitress fatshamed my friend for eating calamari. Second, this worker was staring down our table our whole experience. Third, the food was not what i expected, the bread was dry and the chicken tastes odd. The noodles were also not even fully cooked. There also wasn't enough sauce so half the noddles were plain. This place is literally just okay. I say that because there was 6 of us who all ordered different food and half of us liked our food and the other half didn't. The chips for the dip were DRENCHED in oil.... The baked beef ravioli i could SWEAR was boiled beef ravioli with sauce and cheese thrown on top and thrown in the microwave. Just skip it. The chicken parm was not so bad. The lamb chops were actually the only truly delicious meal we all agreed on. Oh and they'll up charge you for salads that don't even come with the meal and just ask u "what kind of salad do you want".. that leads you to assume it COMES with a salad... maybe let the customer know "ok would you like a salad because it doesn't come with the meal" Over all i give this place a 6/10 it wasn't awful but it was average at best. We waited about a half an hour for appetizers and when we asked where they are, she told us "we were behind a big party!" The lobster tail made me sick. The pasta tasted like the sauce was garlic water. The onion soup that was an up charge was like dish brown water with cheese. So disappointing. Six stars on this restaurant! Has the decor of a county club with photos and memorabilia of The Masters Golf Tournaments through the years. Attended a luncheon in a beautiful room with lots of windows. The wait staff really seemed to take pride in their attention to their guests and their service. We were given a preselect menu. The choices were Beef tenderloin tips, Shrimp Alfredo or Chicken Caesar salad. At our table everyone said the food was delicious. Nothing seemed to go wrong. I always upgrade my dinner salad to a delicious baby Greek. The salad is so big, it's almost a meal in itself. Their fish entrees are delicious and fresh. My husband loves their steaks, pasta, and the liver & onions. They have a classic cocktail menu too, which a perfect for martini or Manhattan drinkers. My friend got their spinach salad and loved it! This place is right around the corner from me and I have never stopped here, routinely have seen it busy so figured why not stop in for a late dinner. Interior was HUGE on the golf theme which I liked! I got a fish sandwich and my date for the horseradish encrusted salmon. Dinner rolls came with the meal which were nice. My sandwich, although nothing wrong with it, also nothing great about it. Both of our meals were just very average. I will make a stop back and try something else again. First try here was just ok. They also should spend some time to update the sides. They have some sides but they need a better selection and better variety of side dishes. read more

My wife and our church organization was having a Holiday luncheon and had a very disturbing and mixed experience at the restaurant. The waiter and waitress were outstanding but the manager Nick was very condescending, rude and nasty. As guests of the party were arriving later to the luncheon, he attempted to scold them as they were coming in the door (like they were children!) almost displaying an attitude of bigotry and belittlement. It's so frustrating to know that black (African-American) customers in 2023 still have to deal with such offensive behavior. When my wife and I booked the event last week we meet Nick for the first time and he was rude and impatient then and we just shrugged it off as a result of having a bad day. But, we were wrong! Nick needs to pick another line of work. My advice to anyone who wants to dine here please find another restaurant, especially customers of color. P.S.
