He worked hard to provide fantastic, extremely thorough results - I didn't know when we last had the gutters cleaned, but apparently, in spite of no large trees near our home, our gutters had mud/sludge build up like crazy (he showed me a garbage bag about 1/4 full), another bag with Styrofoam pieces (where the heck did that come from), ceramic bits, a partial bee hive, and bird feathers of the "torn apart by another larger bird" varieties, an abandoned nest, etc. 3c. I witnessed and heard Casey moving about scraping and flushing the gutters - it took a bit longer than he anticipated due to the build up. But he kept at it. 3d. He cleaned up everything, beautifully. Wouldn't know he was there. Informed me of his challenges and findings. 4. We had been experiencing dripping gutters. But we hadn't known the extent. My husband tried to keep the lower gutters clean. But we lived in a 2 story Home. So some of the higher gutters were quite a challenge. 5. We will now have them come out annually to perform work and I have already recommended him and Master's to my neighbors. 6. Found Masters via YELP last week, called/left a message, and they returned my call promptly. We went over the number of windows I wanted cleaned and I was given an estimate. I received a text reminder the day before my service (yesterday) and received a call when they were on their way. The 2 young men who did the job were friendly, professional, polite, clean, and thoughtful of the inside of our home. I felt very comfortable having them here. The two guys who came to my home and cleaned my windows, inside and out, and the gutters as well (Kelly and Brian), did an excellent job. were polite, and professional. They also did me a personal favor which they didn't have to do, which was to carry a broken TV from the downstairs upstairs and put it in my car so I could take it to the recycling location the next day, for which I thanked them sincerely (it was an old picture tube model and far too heavy for me, or any one person, to carry alone). On the other hand, Masters charged over 50% more than the last guys I had do this work. Admittedly, I didn't have them back because they failed to satisfactorily reattach the exterior screens (and the Masters guys did a very complete and thorough job of that), but even so, the prices weren't even in the same ballpark. The online estimate calculator seemed high to me, but it gave out three prices for the same job: one for the basic service ($523), one for the deluxe ($629), and one for the premium ($799). Gutter cleaning was another $250 on top of this (for a 2-story, 2500 sq. ft. home). I've had all of this work done for a little over $400, so really I paid close to double...and they wanted quite a bit more, too. To go from basic to deluxe, you got your screens washed with soap and water instead of just brushed off, as in the basic service, and also the window tracks "wiped out". The guys told me it really made a big difference if the screens were washed vs. being just brushed off, but I really didn't buy it since I'd had them cleaned 2 years ago and they really weren't all caked with dirt or anything. I thought it was just more hard-sell. Many of my windows don't open at all, and those that do opened and closed very easily and had no problem with their tracks. To go to the next level, "premium," for another $170 ($276 above the "basic" service, over 50% more than it) you also got "tracks vacuumed and wiped out" (not just "wiped out"), "frames wiped down" (whatever that means), a "7 day rain guarantee" (I kind of wish I'd asked what that meant; a guarantee of no rain for 7 days, or that they'd all come back and do it all again for free if it rained within the next 7 days? But what if it rained on the 8th day...or later? I mean, sooner or later, it's going to rain (we hope!), so what's that even about? I just shook my head and realized I didn't care), and "up to 5 mirrors cleaned FREE." Well, of course, they weren't really being cleaned "FREE" if I was paying another $170 to get them wiped off or whatever, right? Right? I'm just sayin' When I spoke to the owner on the phone to confirm the appointment, he asked (after seeming surprised that I had filled out the online forms correctly and had given him the correct square footage of my home, which he double-checked on Zillow while I was on the line) "So do you want the deluxe, or the premium service?" I felt like I was being maneuvered into paying for more than I wanted, which included cleaning window tracks and so on, things I've never had done before and never wanted done. When I said I just wanted the basic service, he acted surprised, as if such a thing was simply unheard of. I kind of resented that, but stuck to my guns. And when the work crew arrived to do the job, they repeated the same routine, expressing a sort of pretend shock that I would settle for just the basic service, as if that simply wasn't done. Summary: they did a very good job, were very polite, thorough, and professional, but I felt a bit gouged price-wise and a bit manipulated to pay for more than I wanted or needed (although I didn't). They did me a favor by carrying my broken TV upstairs for me, and I appreciate that. But I would probably not hire this company again. At the end, they left me a little envelope with a thank-you card for giving them my business, a refrigerator magnet advertising their company, and a request that I post a Yelp review for them. So, here it is. By the way, there IS a problem with getting calls returned, as another reviewer wrote. I left a message and it wasn't returned at all. Then I called again a couple of weeks later and the owner answered the phone in person. I told the guys who came to clean the windows about this and they acted like I must be mistaken, but I'm not mistaken. I called and left a message including my name and phone number and it was never returned. So, I don't know what the problem is with that, but there clearly is one and it should be easy to fix. read more

Brian did a fantastic job clearing our gutters and downspouts of pounds and pounds of bird debris (feces). He came out in heavy rain and 60mph gusts to help us. Had Master's Window cleaning clean my windows/screens and pressure wash my walkways, patios and driveway. While they did a good job on the windows and screens, the price was high (~$300 for 2200 sqft home). We had never paid more than $200 and I did not see a difference in quality. I was charged $250 to pressure wash front and back and I had to have them go back and redo the patio. They seemed to just quickly go over the surface and did not work to remove algae. Brian took care of this when he heard I was not happy with the results and has since resolved the issue (great customer service). read more

I'm new to homeownership and I'm not yet equipped to get it done on my own. I figured, with Fall right around the corner, it'd be a good time to get my gutters cleaned. Brian provided a quote and had someone out at my home soon after. The gutters were cleaned. Here is why I give this service five stars. I noticed there was debris on the side of my gutters, which was due to the recent cleaning. We had expected the debris to wash away with the rain, but that didn't happen unfortunately. I called Brian to explain the situation. He was more than accommodating and offered to send someone out to clean the debris! I was impressed. A young fellow came back to my home and cleaned the side of my gutters. He had a great attitude about the whole thing and was apologetic. I enjoyed working with this company. I was given a fairly soon appointment time and I was reminded by email and a phone call prior to the appointment. The technician finished a job early and called to see if he could come early and emphasized there was no pressure if it didn't work out for me. The earlier appointment time was perfectly fine. The techs arrived- did their job for a great price (I recently bought a home and it hadn't had any gutter work for quite sometime and I have two huge leafy trees on my property). After the work was completed the techs cleaned up all the leaves (many which were there long before they arrived). The only thing I had a small complication was texting- When you call the main number your are giving a number you can text to set appointment or asks questions- I tried texting twice with no response so I just did everything over the phone and it was super smooth. read more

I asked him to be careful of my gutters and he placed a cloth against the gutter between his ladder and didn't put too much pressure on the gutters to dent them. We bought our home in Fairfield on April 2014 and we contracted with Master's Window Cleaning Service out of Sacramento to clean the windows along with the screens inside and out. The house is 3,200 sqft, two story, 5 bedroom home with lots of windows. They did such a great job and the price was right, so we had them return again this year. To my surprise and without giving away any trade secrets, their two man crew cleaned all of the second floor windows and screens without climbing on my roof and without the use of an extension ladder.This was great for two reasons: I didn't have to worry about a broken tile and it was the safest way for them to work. The crew was friendly, professional, on time and treated out home with respect both inside and out. Once the job was completed, the windows and screens were perfect. Our gutters were overflowing each time it rained, and our second story is pretty high up there, so we started looking around for a gutter cleaning service. We found Master's online with strong reviews and figured we should try them out. I made an appointment for later that week and timing worked out that it was one day before the next storm. Service took about one hour, and at the end he provided me with a review of what's going on 30 feet above my head. Read the Yelp reviews... Called Brian to ask for him to visit to give me an estimate as the job was very big. 5500 sq/ft gutters had never once been cleaned. Very, very tall house... so the second floor gutters are at least 25ft high. Also asked for a power wash of the cement roof tiles, as parts of the roof were becoming moss farms. Brian and his team arrived at 7:30 and did not leave until 7pm. The house looked great. Windows, roof, gutters... all clean and looked great. And best probably of all, there was no mess. I contacted Masters on Yelp in February and they responded right away. In fact, I was still at work and Brian said he would stop by the house anyway in order to give me a quote for the services I needed. I wanted my single story house pressure washed from top to bottom. I have a lot of hardscape and brick work that had not been cleaned in several years and was mossy and slimy, as was the tile roof that had not been cleaned, ever, in 20 years. The quote was $2k. We set an appointment for them to come out in June and they kept in contact with confirming texts. The crew of three with 3 trucks showed up on time. The crew chief walked the property and after looking in the gutters reduced the quote because the gutters were clean of debris. One guy power washed the roof and hauled away buckets of slime. Another was charged with the bricks and windows and the third did concrete walkways. They were professional and worked all day. They did a good job and my only criticism is to be more thorough under the eves to get rid of all spider webs (the house painter was coming next) and the dirt was not thoroughly washed from the window tracks. I would use Masters again and thought the price was reasonable for the job. read more
