Nothing but top service from both sales and the service team. The purchase of our vehicle (about a year ago) was practically effortless. No appointment needed for oil changes and free wifi while you wait! I really feel like the service team is honest and cares about my vehicle. The last time I was there they quoted me on the price of my tune-up...it turns out the tune-up should have cost over $100 more but they honored the original quote. I didn't even have to ask, they just apologized for misquoting me and gave me the original price anyway. We will absolutely continue to get our Subaru serviced at Mastria and if another Subaru is in our future there is no doubt that Mastria is the place we'll go to first. read more

Great sales experience with Ron. Seems honest and straightforward. Not our first Subaru purchase but Outback seems great for this Game of Thrones winter weather that comes with driving up here in Rhode Island. On the negative there were 15 Outbacks when we looked in the Internet "in stock" but only 2 actually available when we came in so pretty disappointed in that. There was a vague complicated excuse. So my suggestion is that you call 1st and find out how many of whatever you seek are actually available before you drive out and commit the time. Also it took too long to go from sales to the business office. I would use them again after weighing pros and cons as we had a complicated title and out of state issue and they made it painless. read more

I live north of Boston and during a ride down to the South Coast my tire pressure light came on. I stopped at Mastria as it was the closest dealership and they could not have been nicer. They inflated all four tires and replaced a missing valve cap on one of them - no charge! - and I was not there long at all. What a pleasant experience! OMG ! What sleazeballs... brought my car in for an oil change (as it was more convenient than the best VW dealer (Tracy VW)... Took off all the Tracy logos, plate covers, etc..put on Mastria ones in their place, said they vacuumed it (didn't) and they took over an hour and a half to complete ! I purchased a 2016 Outback and have no complaints on the sale. The service department is terrible. 3 hours for an oil change and they called to let me know it is done 30 minutes before they closed but FAILED to mention that they are closing. I live 30 minutes away so by the time I got there they were closed, my car was gated in and I was left without a vehicle. I talked to the manager the next day and he didn't care even when I told him I am never coming back here to get my car serviced. I paid $113 for my oil change to drive my car home and realized that they didn't even check my tire pressure which was at 29 psi on all of my tires. How can I be sure they even did the rest of the service that is supposed to come with the $100 oil change!? They just lost a life long Subaru customer, I will never give them any business and I will not refer anyone to them. Summary: Shitty service and shitty management. I do not trust them. read more

Although the first day we went to look at cars, the sales lady was amazing, not pushy and knew what she was talking about. When we got her call that a car we would be interested in was available, we went to see her. We ended up not being able to deal with her, we had another person, who left a very bad impression of the way they do business! As if he wasn't honest enough with me, and their so called no haggle pricing...the finance clerk was WORSE! He tried to offer us his "best rate" deal and it was a joke! after talking with him for over an hour, he refused to agree that his rates were way to high. I contacted this dealership after searching thru data that was posted to a Subaru Owners Blog from one of its employees, the forum was specifically discussing the different Extended Warranties and prices available that Subaru sells. I contacted the individual that offered his name and pertinent data in an attempt to do business with him..I used his email address from the blog and was surprised at how many attempts it took to get a response from him. (How hard could it be?) When I finally did get him to respond, he informed me that since I live in CA that he couldn't do business with me due to laws in our State that prohibit out of California dealers from selling the Extended Warranty. I wrote another email to this gentleman requesting additional details and was blown off completely, no reply at all. At this point I realized that this guy is only in it for the $$. So if you are thinking of doing business with them, just remember, If Dave can make a buck, your odds of getting good service increase, if not, well that's why I wanted to let you know in advance. As a dealership, they were very helpful when I purchased my vehicle with them years ago and even their service department was great. Recently, the service department has gone down hill, staff is unhelpful and in my opinion they are not very good at their jobs. Our car was in for repairs and several thousand dollars later, when we got it back, the problem was not only unresolved, but actually worse. They also do not stand by their tires for life guarantee which is really deceiving. This dealership is not what it once was. read more

They put a good size scratch on my alloy wheel and then denied it was them and would not fix it. I'm never going back there again. Its pretty bad when you can't trust a service to replace your tire without scratching your expensive alloy wheels, not to mention no owning up to damaging them in the process. read more

Absolute waste of time. Have been searching for a specific vehicle, went to look at one here, at Mastria Subaru, and was told their price was their price, wouldn't negotiate despite the vehicle being overpriced. So we left, not a big deal. A couple weeks later, a newly listed vehicle popped up. We called and asked for further information. We were given details about the vehicle and quoted a price from Mastria GMC. We drove over an hour with two young kids for a second time only to find the vehicle was not only moved to Mastria Subaru but upon sitting down was told a different, much higher price. They refused to honor the price and when we gave the name of the person my husband spoke with, he denied giving us a price. When they assessed our tradein they offered us less than half of what we had previously been quoted from other dealerships. Absolutely livid that we wasted our time and gas. The service here leaves much to be desired. And since when do you get charged for not financing with a dealership? $500 "fee" We will not be back to Mastria. read more

GO here AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!!!!! The salesmen are crooked and will lie to your face. I traded my G35 for a newer G35x (safer in the snow) and was told the vehicle had one owner and that he was "A Doctor" so naturally I think wow a car that I had been looking for and it must have been taken care of. Still to this day I dont remember why I didn't asked for a carfax, maybe because the sales person I was dealing with was talking about anything and everything while also running off to do something real fast. Well now I ran the carfax (wanted to upgrade) and realized the error of my ways. The car has had 2 previous owners (me being the third) and STRUCTURAL DAMAGE! W.T.F. so now I'm up poop creek without a paddle THANKS MASTRIA! I'm sure the salesman have a special place in hell. read more

I have purchased numerous cars from Mastria and they advertised this tires for life program. They use this as a selling feature and a gimmick for you to believe in this program and you have to take your car back to only them for the oil change and tire rotation to qualify. Well it came to test this selling feature and sure enough it's all false and it's to good to be true. Had a flat and I brought the car to have it fixed just to get a call and to tell me it was going to be $700 dollars for 4 new tires so when I asked about the tires for life program Peter, the service man, said we went to long between oil changes so you must have brought it some where else so the program was voided. Never, never have we brought this car any where else. We were just late on getting the oil change like a lot of customers do. So I'm sure it's in the fine print some where that this is their policy even though we are great customers and purchased 4 vehicles from them and to get no consideration at all. Peter was just worried about policy and not customer service. So needless to say "Ties for life " really means, come and get your oil change and tires rotated at Mastria just to give them business at a higher price I might add, but if your late on a oil change, oh well, sorry even if you have gone there religiously every time. So full disclosure I haven't bought a vehicle from here (yet) but I will say that in my endless Subaru search that Mastria specifically Alison in the Internet sales dept really made an effort to help me. I mean actually legitimately help me. I'm looking for a Crosstrek (feel my pain?) so I can bring my grandmother to her doctors appointments. My current car is too high, Imprezas are too low. It's like goldilocks trying to find a car. But the Crosstrek it is. I've been shopping around, endlessly emailing (I don't go into a dealership until I have my out the door price in writing) phone calls, all of it. So eventually I tell Alison why I need this car and she totally responded to my need in a delightfully genuine and caring (refreshing after dealing with some very apathetic Subaru dealers) way. She offered several solutions and really made an effort. I've worked in high end sales before and I'm exhausted from the mental gymnastics of car buying so Alison's effort really was touching. Honestly I don't think I would be writing any review if it wasn't for her but she made Mastria stand out to me. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE DEPT. I've had two horrible experiences at Mastria Subaru. My first oil change in my brand new 2015 Subaru Legacy, they forgot to put the gasket on the oil filter and i leaked oil for about 3 weeks. After ruining my new driveway, the oil light finally came on. Luckily, the oil light works, had to drive another half hour back to mastria to fix the problem. One of my recent visits, they put the first scratch in my brand new 19 inch wheels and then got mad when I brought it to their attention. I don't want anything for free, I just want people to know they have the worst service, they are about volume and not whats in the best interest for you car. Half of the people seem like they are on drugs there. Maybe drug testing will help. Either way, go anywhere else!!! read more

I came in two weeks ago with my father. I came to the dealer to look at and test drive the Subaru Crosstrek. The salesman Abe wasn't helpful. He showed us the few they had in the lot. They didn't have the premium trim and color I wanted but he didn't offer a test drive. He spoke about possibly getting some more crosstreks into the dealership sometime soon. He left to "go take a look at incoming inventory" He came back saying he didn't see any crosstreks coming in but would take my name and information and would let me know. I agreed and he left me and my father hanging in showroom waiting for him to return to take our "information". Well he returned and pretty much dismissed us never taking down my information. Needless to say I went to another Subaru dealership the same day and although they also didn't have the color or trim level I wanted the salesman took me for a test drive. I loved the car! He took my information and made few phone calls when new crosstreks came in. He really took the time to tell me that he appreciated my business. Not like the guy at Mastria Subaru it seemed like he could care less about us or our business. So yes I just bought a Crosstrek with this other dealer. I guess it was a good thing that this Mastria Salesman was horrible. read more

Don't do business with this dealership! This is by far the worst customer service experience I've ever had. I purchased a gently used VW from this dealership and allowed them to upsell me on a remote starter. Big mistake. There was also an issue with the remote lock/unlock feature on the one (and only) key they gave me for the car. A service was scheduled to drop the car off and have the starter installed and the key fixed, for which they had to send the car to a VW dealership to complete the work. 4 days later, I receive the car back with the same broken key and a remote starter that has a remote lock/unlock feature (presumably to make up for the broken key) which also does not work. I expressed my frustration about this to the service guy over the phone, who was completely unhelpful. $500 later (the cost of the starter) I'm going to have to go to a VW dealership and purchase a a spare key ($150) that works. Maybe the customer service is better when you buy a Subaru, but for anyone looking at any of the other used cars on their lot, DON"T BOTHER!! read more

Purchased a 08 Toyota 4 Runner in Dec 2012, In November 2014 it was discovered by a local Toyota Dealer the VIN had been altered and it fact the car was a 2006 not a 2008, informed the Virginia State Police who confirmed the car was stolen with an outstanding salvage title by Geico and the car was impounded, taken away. All I want is to be made whole and reimbursed for all the cost to purchase, transport, tax and title the car plus the cost or part of the cost for the new tires I put on the car 8 months earlier. The dealer is stalling, putting this in the hands of his insurance company and it has now been almost 6 weeks since I informed them and demanded payment. I am out of a car that was purchased for my daughter who has now returned to collage without a car and I am out approx. $28,000. THE ACTIONS OF THIS DEALER DOES NOT LIVE UP TO THEIR MISSION STATEMENT!!! "Our number one mission is to follow the golden rule: to treat every single customer the way we would want to be treated" I have tried to work this out directly with the dealer to no avail.
