For any company out there HOW they do business is just as important as whether they do a good job. Read on. I'll try to entertain you along the way I promise. I don't know jack about cars. It's not my thing and never has been and I always feel like an idiot when something goes wrong because while it would probably be a good idea to learn what makes my car go VROOM VROOM life is too short and I have other things I'd like to spend my time on. So one day I wake up and my car won't VROOM or even turn on. Crap. It's stuck in the drive way and there's no easy way to jump it in the position it's in. How do I even jump a car? ::Googles how to jump a car:: "Jumping your car might lead to injury death and maybe destruction of electrical equipment/starter" oh nice great easy I'll pass thanks. I called a few shops, some big, some small. All of them tell me it's an alternator problem based on the dash lights, age of the car, etc. I'm told I shouldn't try and jump it because it could die at any moment which might lead to me dying any moment so just have the car towed and they'll do some diagnostic work on it. My BS detector starts perking up but again, not a car guy. I look on yelp and see that Sam's is pretty close to where I live so I put out a request for a quote. Yelp told me they would send it to a few people I said sure fine whatever. Within a few minutes I get a message from Chris asking for some details about what's wrong with my car. I tell him it won't start and relay what the shops told me. He gave me a quote and said he could squeeze me in sometime today (we spoke yesterday evening). Oh I also got an automated message from another towing company this morning, and the third one never bothered to respond. Fast forward to this morning Chris shows up at my house and immediately pulls out a jump kit to get my car started to rule out the alternator problem. Why? He's the guy towing my car why does he care....? It starts and stays start-ed. He tells me to skip the shop and go to advanced auto where they can test my battery and throw a new one in because it's definitely not my alternator. (I also googled what an alternator was because cars are ::waves hands:: made of magic or something). There was a service charge for him to come out which I felt was more than fair for the amount of money he saved me. Turns out it was just a dead battery most likely from the heat and not going anywhere/working from home. He could have made more for towing me a mile down the road and let the mechanic figure it out but he didn't. That is....so important these days. In the business I'm in, integrity is in short supply (Real Estate. Don't even get me started), and honestly it seems like it's in short supply everywhere. Nobody is honest with each other and it's very rare you come across people, let alone business owners, that aren't trying to skin you alive and pull a fast one on you to make an extra buck. Chris didn't do that. He was professional and honest. I know he wasn't trying to just fix the issue so he could cut and run to the next job. We sat and spoke for a bit while the car ran just to make sure it wouldn't abruptly die. After he left I almost felt like I ripped him off for not ripping me off. Is that weird? That's weird isn't it. Anyway five stars A+ would definitely call him for any future towing needs and you should too.

My car was not starting, the battery was turning on though, so I figured my starter had given out on me. I called Mike to get my car towed to a local repair shop and he came as soon as he finished up the job he was on currently. It took a little less than an hour which was fine by me since I was working from home. Once he got here he tried jumping the car just to be sure. When that didn't fix it he told me he put the car into neutral and it started right away! Apparently the car hadn't gone all the way into park and so the neutral starting switch wouldn't allow the car to start. He put it back into park and tested it out at least 10 more times just to be sure and even tested it once more a few minutes later. He charged me a low fee for his services and saved me a ton of money now that I didn't have to pay for a full towing service as well as whatever I would've been charged by the repair shop. On top of it all he was super kind and told me everything he did to fix the issue as well as gave me some tips for what I need to do if it ever happens again :) as a woman in her twenties it's not often that I interact with kind people in the automotive industry so I am beyond pleased. My mom had a very similar experience when she used his services. Her car wouldn't start even when we tried jumping it. He showed up and got it working without having to tow the car so he is definitely consistently kind, ethical and helpful.

She went above and beyond by contacting Tesla herself and changing the service from a tow to a loaner wheel, which allowed me to continue my trip instead of being stuck. He changed the tire quickly and even stayed to watch traffic behind me, making sure I merged safely back onto the highway before leaving. In distress and barely thinking clearly, he parked in a fire lane for just a few hours. We fully understand that it was against the law -- but his prescribed pain medication was inside the car when it was towed. I called and politely explained the situation, told them it was a medical emergency, and that he needed to take his medicine every 6 hours. Their response was cold and careless. After hours of pleading, I was told someone would get back to me -- but no one ever did. By 12:30 AM, there was still no call, no help, and my dad was left suffering all night. I even texted -- my message was read, but no one replied. By morning, after my dad had endured the entire night in pain and without sleep, I called again and was told we could retrieve the car. When my mom arrived, things got even worse. There wasn't even an office -- just a girl who came outside and asked for her ID. When my mom explained that her husband hadn't slept all night because his medication was locked in the car, the girl looked her straight in the face and said, "I don't care." That was her exact response -- no empathy, no professionalism, no basic human decency. To make matters worse, the car had scratch almond size that weren't there before, and they took no responsibility, even after my mom pointed it out right there. Just like they strictly enforce their towing policies and claim on their website to be open 24 hours, I wish they showed the same urgency when someone is in crisis. A car is like a person's home -- people often have essential items inside. What if someone died not having access to what they need? What if someone had to sleep outside because their house keys were inside? What if someone with a disability was left stranded without their medical device? This company is run by people with zero compassion, no professionalism, and no sense of decency. What we experienced wasn't just bad service -- it was cruel, cold, and heartless. If you care at all about being treated like a human being, stay far away from this place.
