Our waitress was especially sweet, cheerful, and attentive throughout the evening. The owner even stopped by our table to check in and say hello, which was a nice personal touch you don't always see. Service was strong all around. The only small hiccup was that the glasses placed on our table by the host were not clean, but once service got going everything else was smooth and professional. The food was the star of the night. We shared a salad to start, then ordered the tomahawk steak with roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, and grilled asparagus -- the steak was tender, flavorful, and cooked well. We also added the wild mushroom risotto on the side, which was rich and satisfying. Drinks were well made and not watered down, which we definitely appreciated. For dessert, we finished with the molten lava chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream -- a perfect sweet ending. The interior is clean and comfortable, though some of the furniture could use updating. That said, the friendly service and quality of the meal made for a very enjoyable Valentine's dinner. We would return. Special shout out to Kayla our server. She made our evening and first visit memorable and fun. Thank you Keith, owner, for touching our table. It was nice to meet you and we willbe back for more!

Our waiter, Nate, was spot on with menu knowledge, table side manner and timing, overall highly professional. Our server was not attentive, drinks were not provided timely since as we were informed the Diet Coke needed to be replaced in the basement. Rolls were not brought out until requested at the time we placed our meal order. Many drinks needed refill, but server did not return until meals were brought out 20 minutes later. Only five of the six meals were brought out, only to learn the sixth meal was never put in. Final meal arrived several minutes later . Amazed the only service recovery attempt was to offer me a free dessert. I felt terrible but could not justify tipping for an establishment charging premium food prices for such poor service.

Stopped in recently for an early dinner the day before Easter with no reservation and somehow got seated almost immediately. A small miracle. We're perfectly fine with the bar area, but scoring an actual dinner table felt like winning the restaurant lottery. Our waitress was fantastic -- knew the specials, knew the menu, and brought great energy without hovering. The kind of service that makes you relax and settle in. My spouse and I kicked things off with espresso martinis (on the creamy, frothy side -- highly recommended if that's your vibe). Dinner did not disappoint: paired everything with a bottle of Cab, my spouse absolutely demolished a medium-rare prime rib while I went for a lean medium ribeye that hit the spot. Sides were solid, and in a rare moment of adult decision-making, we passed on the bread. Reliable, welcoming, and delicious -- exactly why we keep coming back.

We sat outside and enjoyed the warm weather as well as a wedding that was taking place. The venue does a great job of keeping wedding events separate from diners so although we were able to see some of the wedding party and guests the reception was in another room and the noise did not spill over to diners, My friend had a cocktail and I enjoyed a wine flight. We shared a summer peach and burrata salad and Parker House rolls. Both were delicious. My friend had salmon and I had the summer swordfish over risotto. Both were perfectly prepared. My swordfish was melt in your mouth. Our server, Aydan was super friendly and just a delight. Everyone at the restaurant was helpful and gracious. I would highly recommend giving the Bistro a try if you are in the area. I don't think you will be disappointed!

The waitress was knowledgeable on the wines and their pairings. We got the red wine braised shortrib poutine and and it was AMAZING I've tried a lot of poutine and this was one of the best. The meat was so incredibly flavorful and soft, the cheese had the perfect cheese pull, the gravy was scrumptious and the fries were thin and perfectly salty like a better version of a McDonald's fry. For dinner we split the steak frites and duck breast. The steak was well seasoned and was a nice size, the broccolini was surprisingly really great, and the fries were just as good as they were in the poutine. The duck breast was a pass for me, and I love duck. It was cooked medium as a default and that is not my preference. It was quite chewy and I didn't think it tasted like very much at all. The mashed potatoes were very good, I think they have a real knack for all things potato here and the farro was good and very flavorful for being a side portion. I would definitely come here again but probably stick to the red meats.
