My girlfriend and I chose to dine at the Bistro over the last weekend. I was visiting my friend at her new home and she had been curious about checking out La Belle Winery. We sat outside and enjoyed the warm weather as well as a wedding that was taking place. The venue does a great job of keeping wedding events separate from diners so although we were able to see some of the wedding party and guests the reception was in another room and the noise did not spill over to diners, My friend had a cocktail and I enjoyed a wine flight. We shared a summer peach and burrata salad and Parker House rolls. Both were delicious. My friend had salmon and I had the summer swordfish over risotto. Both were perfectly prepared. My swordfish was melt in your mouth. Our server, Aydan was super friendly and just a delight. Everyone at the restaurant was helpful and gracious. I would highly recommend giving the Bistro a try if you are in the area. I don't think you will be disappointed! read more

The restaurant was dimly lit with soft lighting and had a small candle on every table it was a slightly upscale but still cozy vibe for dinner. The waitress was knowledgeable on the wines and their pairings. We got the red wine braised shortrib poutine and and it was AMAZING I've tried a lot of poutine and this was one of the best. The meat was so incredibly flavorful and soft, the cheese had the perfect cheese pull, the gravy was scrumptious and the fries were thin and perfectly salty like a better version of a McDonald's fry. For dinner we split the steak frites and duck breast. The steak was well seasoned and was a nice size, the broccolini was surprisingly really great, and the fries were just as good as they were in the poutine. The duck breast was a pass for me, and I love duck. It was cooked medium as a default and that is not my preference. It was quite chewy and I didn't think it tasted like very much at all. The mashed potatoes were very good, I think they have a real knack for all things potato here and the farro was good and very flavorful for being a side portion. We had a family lunch today at The Bistro which is our absolute favorite place in NH. We dined outside with that amazing view on a beautiful day. The service was outstanding as always - thank you Aiden! The food was delicious - we started with the crispy buffalo cauliflower and ham / Gruyère puffs. Entrees included our favorite - the chicken salad wrap - the chicken BLT, and summer penne pasta. My daughter loved the spiced winter pear wine. We ended with 2 orders of the chocolate decadence. We were out for a drive and we weren't sure where we were going to celebrate our 26th wedding anniversary. We stumbled upon The Bistro at Labelle Winery. What a find! From the service, to the cocktails, to the food it was a five star experience. We were also lucky enough to see an incredible sunset. I had the cranberry amaretto sour cocktail, which was absolutely divine. We then had a flight of white wine with a baked Brie to start, and it was delicious. My husband had the short rib and I had the strip sirloin, both were cooked beautifully, and the short rib came on a bed of homemade pasta. I had a glass of their Malbec, which they recommended with the strip steak and it was so good that we bought a bottle to bring home. We ended our night with coffee and a pot de crème, which was out of this world. Our server Niamh, was fantastic. She was very attentive, warm and friendly and she helped make it a perfect evening. This was my first dining experience at the Labelle Winery and a friend and I made reservations for brunch on a Sunday at 11 am. We were quickly seated upon arrival and Aiden was our waitperson-very personable and friendly and provided us with a quick overview of our food choices as well as providing us with a delicious wine sample prior to our meal and was very attentive during our brunch. I had already looked at the menu ahead of time and had the Lobster Benedict. It was delicious and perfectly cooked! The potatoes were crisp and chewy. The Bistro is a delightful venue for a casual but upscale experience and I will definitely come back and hope to sit outside on their beautiful patio. Easter Sunday 2026 at LaBelle in Amherst was a disaster. Despite a reservation, it took 30 minutes to seat us, and the waiter didn't even take drink orders for 45 minutes after we were seated. Our 3-course dinner order was another 45 minutes later. No one came by to refill water or coffee so we got up and got our own refills. Other diner tables (same size as ours) were seated 40 minutes AFTER us and were served, constantly attended to, and left before we even got one entree. Entrees came out cold, and one dinner was completely forgotten-- then came out later (and wrong) and had to be sent back and was still wrong. I gave it away to someone else in our party. The creme brulee tasted like instant pudding and was not set. The waiter was cold and hardly came by or uttered a word to us. Other diners were being waited on, and our waiter was hardly to be seen in the dining room in the whole 3 hours and 20 minutes we were there. Despite talking to the manager 3x at different intervals, it turned out to be 3 hours and 10 minutes in total of mostly waiting, and by the time our food came, we ate within about 15 minutes. We could not wait to get out of there. They brought our check and did not take the $100 deposit off the bill. We had to remind them. We came for lunch and left at nearly dinner time. Save your money and never go there for a holiday or event. In fact, I doubt any of us will be back at all. Total waste of money and time. read more

The muscles in a wine/garlic sauce with purple basil cooked perfect, juicy not dry. Caprese salads good, heirloom tomato would add more flavor and the buratta was perfect. We enjoyed Niamh's suggestions, excellent service, offering tasting of wines she suggested, and knows the menu. Had an excellent time here. The food was tasty as was the wine. We ordered a flight of red and a flight of white which was an excellent addition to the experience. I like the look of the facilities and it has nice ambiance an out it. The server was attentive and friendly. I believe she mixed up one of the wines in the white flight since tasting revealed there was no Riesling in the flight we received, but it's a minor point. We plan on dining here again. There are times when I'm grateful to have this venue to let others know when I come across a business I find truly exceptional. Labelle Winery in very way reaches that standard. It's not easy to get a table here which attests to their popularity. Though my wife and I stumbled across this business we were luckily able to get a table thanks to a last minute cancellation. This winery wins my favor for a number of reasons. The wine choices here are excellent. I travel the world enjoying wine and to find it a treat to come across this kind of quality especially on the east coast of the US. The food is delicious and complements the wine choices well. Too many wine rooms lean away from this with only peripheral choices or precut cheese trays. Labelle takes its cuisine seriously by offering enjoyable plates that can stand alone nicely. The staff here is cordial, efficient and engaging. They have a genuine enthusiasm when describing the wines and their specific qualities. Tours of the facility are also available and often given by the proprietors of the business. It's definitely worth the time! What I also appreciate is this is a family owned business that wears its name with pride and a commitment to perpetuating its quality rather than simply resting upon its laurels. To see the results of someone's vision on what was once a hilltop attests to all that's possible with diligence and hard work. My best complements to Labelle Winery and its excellent staff. Great wine. Picturesque. Awesome venue. I can see why my cousin and his now wife chose LaBelle. I traveled from the DC area to attend their wedding here a few months ago (the end of September). I was part of the decorating committee for the ceremony and reception. The staff was very accommodating! I was initially concerned that it would be too cold as it was an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour, but the weather was simply amazing. Sunny skies and cool temps. It was perfect. I took some of the best pictures I've taken in a long time at this venue. Definitely Instagram worthy! I highly recommend! We ordered an app of short rib poutine. My wife called it "sinful". She isn't wrong. It's splendid. It really made the meal. It's a gorgeous spot and the rest of the meals we had were decent enough. Our problem is that the steaks were slightly cold. The issue? There was a wedding going on. Our service was incredibly slow. Good, but slow. Based on numerous positive reviews that I have heard about LaBelle, I was excited to finally make it to the Amherst location to have the same experience that everyone raved about. Unfortunately, it fell a little short for me. First off, the venue is gorgeous. Set on top of rollings hills with various vines throughout the perimeter, it's clear that LaBelle set out to be a function venue. On the outside, there were benches for patrons to sit at and the inside has bistro seating when you walk in. As you explore more of the venue, there is a large function room where they serve weddings and other large events. It features large ceilings, bright open windows, and elegant chandeliers. Definitely a pretty spot. The rest of my review is solely based on my tasting experience at LaBelle, so it does not take into consideration the food that LeBelle serves. However, my partner and I went in for a tasting and were quickly greeted by the hostess, who was exceptionally nice and ended up giving us the tasting experience. However, when I indicated that we were there for a tasting, she ushered us to one of their 3 barrels next to the gift shop with no seats, which I thought was slightly weird. My partner and I were standing right by the gift shop with our jackets on...it just seemed too casual and it wasn't relaxing. However, we were in for the experience nonetheless. Our tasting continued with the hostess and she told us to choose 6 wines from the list. My partner and I chose our 6 wines, and with each selection, the hostess was SUPER knowledgable about the wine. It was great to hear her explain the process of making the wine, the grape variation, and subtle stories about how some of the wine came to be. However, sometimes mid-sentence, more patrons would come into the venue and she would need to go seat those parties, so sometimes it felt like our wine tasting experience was put on the back burner, so to speak. On top of the odd feeling of standing at a barrel, and our wine tasting consistently being interrupted by patrons walking in and our hostess needing to greet them, it just wasn't the experience that I had anticipated. Our time seemed rushed, and there wasn't a wine that necessarily stood out to us. However, our hostess was extremely nice and she definitely knew her stuff. Since moving to the area, I've been hearing amazing things about LaBelle winery. When the pandemic began the owners were doing everything they could to help, from offering groceries and planning prom for the high school. I've been admiring everything they do from afar, waiting for a chance to try them. For Valentine's Day I saw their take and bake offer and jumped on the chance to try it.... and wow all of their food knocked my socks off! I can't remember the last time I had a meal where every single flavor was surprising and soooo delicious. Even the bread was unique and a new delicious flavor to me. Every portion of the meal incorporated their wine in some way which was so cool The ricotta rolls were spongy and felt like it melted in our mouth. The salad had the most amazing shallot wine dressing and beautiful fresh produce- golden beets, pistachio, goat cheese. Omg. White wine poached shrimp cocktail- delicious, huge shrimp and oh so tender Lobster tail and filet mignon with a truffle Demi glaze. I was skeptical these things would be good as take and bake but, wow, they were both perfect. The filet was SO TENDER, and the truffle sauce to die for. On the side was saffron orzo with tomatoes, so savory and amazing, with prosciutto wrapped asparagus. Come on... does it get any better? Top it off with a decadent flourless chocolate cake and they've created the perfect meal. If their take home stuff was this good I can't even imagine how amazing their stuff fresh in the restaurant is. I highly recommend trying their weekly "take and bake" meals because this one blew us away. I CANT WAIT for better weather when we can go and enjoy their food on the patio.. we've been extra cautious with covid so we haven't been to any restaurants yet, but I know it's the first place I'm going to go. Oh and I almost forgot- the wine! I had their cranberry wine previously and it was excellent. With this meal we had the Corazon rosé and it was absolutely amazing. Spent our anniversary dinner here. We sat in the back room and they greeted us with complimentary sparkling wine to start. We had one of the monthly specials where a dollar of each item sold goes to a charity. This month is the American Heart Association...and Cupids kiss (drink special) was delicious. Tasty and not sweet. We started with a bread bowl & short rib poutine followed by steak frites and salmon and finished with a chocolate mousse (dessert special). However, the mussels were very disappointing. The broth/sauce was flavorless and relatively missing--just a little bit pooled underneath the mussels. Disappointing dinner! Not worth the trip over. The Beef and Blue Fondue was NOT a Fondue, the Duck was "raw", not rare, the Plantain Puree was not a puree, and the Chocolate Decadence was lacking a primary ingredient...the mixed berries! When I told the server the berries were missing, he just said "Well, I guess we have to update our menu" and then just walked away. We were astounded. Over the freezing negative weather out in NH this weekend, a reservation was made for 1pm for a large party of 7 people for lunch. Due to weather we were running late & the party ended up being shorten. The winery was called and there was no problem with the changes that were needed on the same day. We were seated right away and were treated lovely by the staff. On the table we started off with duck wings & fried cauliflower. These dishes were new to me and I really enjoyed them, to have duck in this form, I wouldn't mind. The cocoa bbq sauce was thick but it went well with the tender duck meat. The fried cauliflower came with three sauces but the best sauce was this dark, sesame sweet sauce. For my main course I tried the grilled salmon that was paired with a delish carrot hash and a warm tartar sauce, that needed some getting use to. For dessert I tried the apple crisp, which will warm up your heart on a cold day. Apple slices warmed up in a sugar & cinnamon sauce with added crumbs and topped with whipped ice cream. LaBelle is one of New Hampshire's best wineries and also one of the best spots to dine at. The bistro offers a farm-to-table dining experience, and almost every dish can be paired off with one of their wines. They have the typical wines you'd expect such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Riesling, and Chardonnay, but also several unique ones including wines that are blended with fruits. During the earlier part of the day they offer tasting flights and in the Bistro you can get wine by the glass/bottle or wine flights. One thing they need to work on, for outdoor dining, is reducing the number of blood-thirsty mosquitos that are on the property. read more

Came here Saturday on the recommendation of one of my best friends. We had reservations for 11:30AM they had us seated right away outside as we requested and it was not super busy for a Saturday so that was nice. Our Waitress was very attentive and helpful, very nice. We ordered the Short rib fries to start which were so tasty, 10/10 recommend. We both ordered the shaved steak sandwich, I had mine with the salad and he ordered his with fries. By the time it came I was already feeling full so I ate the salad thinking they would box up the entire sandwich to go (since I hadn't touched it all) my friend barely ate one half of his. They took them to make room for dessert we ordered, again I'm thinking to box them because ones an entire untouched sandwich and the other is one full half and a part of another. We ordered Lemon Sorbet and Crème Brule, it took over 30 minutes to get the desserts which in its self is wild. Then after we finished and got the check I asked for both sandwiches to be boxed together and our waitress said they already cleared the plates. I reiterated to her that I hadn't even touched mine it was a completely whole sandwich. She apologized but didn't offer to take the sandwich off the bill or have one made to go so at the end of the day I paid over $100 for short rib French fries a side Caesar salad and lemon sorbet/crème Brule. We arrived at 6:45 and they stated to us they stopped wine tasting at 5:00 pm .We showed them their webpage and I was questioned by the staff at the door if that was even their website and tContinued on with how they don't offer wine tasting after 5 pm and their website was wrong . Their drinks are nice and strong though a little pricey for the mixed ones starting at $11. Looking through their dinner menu it's also pricey. We did a wine tasting after too, 5 samples for $8. This was my second visit to LaBelle Winery in NH. They have done a lot of work since my first time. There were 4 adults in our party, we arrived just as they opened at 11am (and thankfully we got there when we did because it got busy quick!) we stood at the bar snd each did a tasting of wines. They offer many different varieties so there is truly something for everyone. You can also buy the wine by the glass or bottle and take a seat outside to enjoy. The property is quite pretty! They make a few sangrias that I must recommend, perfect for summer or to take to a bbq! Simply chill and you are good to go! The staff working the bar took their time not to rush us and explain how each wine is made. It was a really fun afternoon! The bun was grilled, every bite has a unexpected crunch in the bun, it was not too much a or too less, service was fine. Apparently the kitchen forgot to cook it so it took an extra 15 minutes. It was not fully cooked so had to send it back and got the eggplant in its place which was fine. It took 2 hours for lunch. Went to LaBelle today to give it another chance after a bad experience years ago. When we got there, we were told they just seated a bunch of people and it could take half an hour for food. No problem - except there was hardly anyone there. I ordered the feta and watermelon salad and it was horrible. The watermelon was soggy and had some odd perfume like taste to it. I asked if they had sparkling water and they only had large bottles, no individual size ones. Something is just off about this place. read more

It's hard to make wine in NH, especially reds, so I hope some of the negatives aren't due to that because I think they do it better than anyone in New England.
