Limited supplies. I wasted my time coming here. I was going to buy something but the return policy sucks. Please don't use COVID-19 as an excuse for your NO RETURN POLICY crap. If you don't trust the customer returning unused item, then why should we trust you that your items or equipment are sanitized before it goes on the shelf. i would be giving 0 stars but that was not an option. if you are looking for a company with horrible customer customer service and customer care than jms is for you. if you want a company who only cares about your money, than jms is for you. if you want to throw away your hard earned than again jms is for you. if you want to purchase or rent good to great medical supplies use anyone but jms. im in the medical field and ended up on the other side as i had an accident that required me being hospitalized and required plates and screws and fiber tape for my broken ankle. ive been sending patients to jms for over 10 plus years but have cut ties with them today personally and business wise. i could have left days ago and to be talked to to way the teenage girl on the other end of the phone was humiliating. someone in management needs to do some under cover boss to see exactly what im talking about. shame on you jackson medical supply. read more

I went in today to see about purchasing a walker for my husband. They had only one that would work in our home, but the back was very uncomfortable when my husband sat in it. No one offered to have me look at a catalogue for other models or offer any other help. I felt they didn't care whether I purchased or not or whether I return in the future. This was very different from the way I was treated in another state when I helped care for my parents. That business would have done anything to make our situation more comfortable. I came home, looked at Amazon and ordered one that met our exact needs. It will be here tomorrow snd can be returned if needed. I really did try to shop locally. read more

I rented a wheel chair for my mom to attend my daughter's graduation. It was very reasonably priced at $35/week. The girls at the counter where very helpful and super nice. I'd recommend them to anyone. There is a lot of things in there for assisted living. From awesome lift chairs, to braces for every joint in your body, to Essential oils, magnifying glasses, shoe horns, all kinds of things to help your aging relatives ease into their comfy spot. So I just had back surgery and was very pleased to find out that this company rents out the medical beds, but more than anything I was very happy with the technician Jackson Medical Supply sent because he was very good with this customer service going up and beyond his call of duty. He put together my bed, cleaned it, gave me very detailed and precise directions. This young man was not only courteous but very respectful. His attitude was upbeat and friendly which was a breath of fresh air. I not only recommend this company but definitely ask for Peter as a technician as he was very awesome and understanding and I give this company a thumbs up for hiring such a great employee!!! Just be warned, Jackson makes sure they get ALL their money up front, and then the insurance company pays them again after that. When, you may ask, do they reimburse low-income senior citizens for the money they had to pay to get the essential piece of equipment? I'm sorry I cannot answer that. I will say that when I went in to pay for & pick up the walker for my mother after her knee replacement surgery, the staff was kind. But here I am, more than 3 months after trying to be reimbursed as both my moms insurances paid their portions, which the secondary insurance sent us a statement dated 4/21/17 showing there was a credit. Between my mother and I, we have called at a minimum of 8 times. Every time the girl that answers is sweet, and really appears that she is trying to be helpful. You would think this was for some crazy thousands of dollars. No, they literally owe my mom $38.77. Each call has ended with a promise of a call back from the elusive Tracy. 1 time out of those 8 has my mother received a call back, even though I very specifically left my number for that return call. And on that return call, my mom was told that Tracy would mail the check the next week. Well that was June 2, and there have been 3 more calls since that. And no return calls. We were forced to write a letter to the Veterans Administration/CHAMPVA to file a formal complaint against this company. I called on August 2, and was told the notes said the check was supposed have been mailed out. But Tracy wasn't in to confirm what had happened. Perhaps Jackson is okay on the front end of the service, but I cannot imagine how they get away without paying senior citizens on fixed incomes back money they owe them. I feel like this place is trying to hold on to my moms money until she dies or something. And then I wonder how other seniors, without loud, obnoxious daughters making the calls for them, ever get any reimbursements? And WHERE IS TRACY? I feel like its a ginormous game of Where's Waldo? read more

Beware!!! The lady at the front desk with darker hair was not wearing a mask as I walked in which was red flag number one for me. Selection is very limited here , was expecting at least a couple things similar to what I was looking for but unfortunately did not. Went into the store for the first time to get a sling for my arm the box has never been opened so I went to go return it the lady says no returns no credit and says it's on your receipt but I feel like even if it is on your receipt that is after you purchased the item they should say that at the time you're purchasing anything at that store now I have a sling which I paid $24 for that I can't do anything with ... for the future if I need any kind of medical items I will never go there I will try to find somewhere else to go they have a horrible policy!!!! BEWARE OF THE 7 DAY RETURN POLICY!!!! Two weeks ago I went into Jackson Medical Supply to buy a large cold pack for my daughter who just had back surgery. As it turned out, she couldn't use the cold pack and we tried to return it to Jackson Medical two weeks after we purchased it. It was still in the box and I had my receipt. The sales rep refused to allow me to return the cold pack as they have a 7 day return policy. I couldn't believe it. I am a long time resident of Vacaville, and spend several hundred dollars a year at Jackson Medical on medical supplies. I shared this fact with the sales agent and said that this would cause them to lose my business in the future. All I got was a, "Sorry our 7 Day Return Policy Stands." Jackson Medical Supply will no longer be getting my business. They clearly didn't care that I was a longtime customer who spends a good amount of money each year on their products, and no one mentioned to me the return policy when I made the purchase. This is a wonderful business. I called about buying some fleece pads for the crutches I already had that I'm using. They said they sell what I needed. Was afraid that they'd close before I got there. I got there just about three mins before their 5:30pm closing time, and the saleslady was very friendly and accommodating . In fact, without me even asking, she put the pads on both of the crutches, after that I paid for them. obviously they're used to people needing assistance getting in the front door, as the installed an automatic door. wonderful experience overall. if I need medical supplies again in Vacaville, I will definitely go there again read more

Terrible, do NOT go to this place. Judy in Vallejo never answers the phone, and on the seldom occasion that she does, she says she has to return your call and then never does. The Vacaville store, SUCKS even more. We ordered a lift chair from this place on April 30th, and it was delivered two weeks later TORN (May 14). When we pointed this out, they played dumb and didn't want to do anything so we refused delivery. After this, they offered to "repair" the chair by cutting the headrest off and putting a cover over it. This would result in a terrible looking chair. We paid over $1200 for a new chair, not a repaired chair, so we declined. Last week we were assured it would "absolutely, positively be delivered by June 7." Now, nearly a month and a half later, when our new chair was supposed to be delivered TODAY and upon calling them, we've learned that our chair is "lost." How do you lose a recliner? In a medical store? So disappointed, so let down. We will be getting a refund and going elsewhere. read more

I could not ask for a more seamless, welcoming,and very helpful shopping experience. My mother's wheelchair needed a new seat. She called them and I took the chair to them in the morning, expecting to have to pick it up the next day. The gentleman showed me several seats and based upon his conversation with my mother recommended one. He installed it while I waited and gave me some tips on extending the life of the seat. Rather than selling me a pad for the seat then, he recommended bringing her and the chair in so she could pick the one most comfortable. She is very happy with the seat he recommended and so far there's been no need for additional padding. No pressures and the cost was in the range quoted over the phone. I will go back if additional equipment/repairs are needed. read more

They not only had the knee scooter I needed in stock but also gave me the codes and info needed to bill my Blue Shield insurance myself so I could be reimbursed. I have never been to this type of store before and I had a ton of questions. The people that work there took the time to explain to me about how Medicare works because my grandma needs to have a hospital bed in her home and I had no idea how to get her one. Her dr. just gave us the prescription and said go to Jackson Medical. I went there and they told me the process step by step and they did have to repeat themselves quite a bit but the employees were patient with me and they delivered my mom's bed the very next day. When my grandma started using the bed we realized she needed some things to use in the bathroom and I went back to Jackson and man I thought I received excellent customer service the first time I went but it was even better the second time! It's Saturday, January 2. Another 3-day holiday weekend. While most folks are out shopping and enjoying the holiday with family, we are still reeling from my brother-in-law's recent diagnosis of colon cancer. He had undergone major surgery and was getting accustomed to an ileostomy. He found himself alone and running low on ostomy pouches (or bags). We spent the entire morning on the Internet, desperately searching through myriad company sites offering "medical supplies," yet getting nothing but toll free numbers with multiple, exhaustive menus. We were rarely given the opportunity to speak with a human voice. And when we did get a human, they couldn't help. One operator actually referred us to a pharmacy, when our own hospital pharmacy didn't carry the needed supplies! And another phone operator didn't even know what an ostomy bag was. We drove to Jackson Medical Supply on Main Street and found it closed, like most businesses on this day. But I called Wendy Jackson and she answered the phone. I told her my plight, and she came right down to her store and opened up shop for us. She even called me en route to make sure we were waiting for her! She located the ostomy supplies we needed, and we were out the door in minutes! Furthermore, she contacted me a few minutes later just to make sure we had the clasp that goes with the bags! This is not the first time Wendy has been a God send. About 5 years ago, I had the same condition and we were completely out of bags - on a Sunday. My husband called Wendy and she opened the store for him! This is why I advise everyone to please support our local, family-owned businesses - not one of the so-called "medical suppliers" were able or willing to help during this difficult time, and didn't even seem to have a location!
