Two stars because they did something to help our situation. Hadn't planned on being in storage for as long as we ended up being there. But RATS! Big, huge, disgusting Norway rats. Ransacked boxes, got into clothes, shit everywhere. Couch was blanket wrapped and plastic wrapped, of course they clawed through and p***ed and s**t all over it. Ruined clothes. Couldn't walk in there without masks, had to bleach clean every box, chewed the wood of the book shelves! Left traps and found dead, poisoned rats having diarrhea or throwing up all over. Felt sick every time I went in. Also, the bathroom there is like a study in VO2s don't use it if you are affected by scent - it's like they dumped a gallon of toxic Fabuloso in it. Guy at desk would also speak to me like I'm an idiot who wasn't paying $350/mo to be there - funny how he was polite to my husband. It took awhile but the complaints garnered a refund of two months - won't even cover the dry cleaning bill but it helps. I think storage centers in general are the dregs! I hope to never have to use one again. read more

Very clean facility with an on site manager. John, the manager is professional & knowledgeable. The pricing is comparable to other local sites. However, this location appears to be well cared for & secure. We previously had items stored at Public Storage on Beck Avenue. Our inside storage unit was burglarized and management was SLOW notifying us & it took weeks for them to make repairs to the damaged door and replacing our stolen lock. We've moved over to Solano Storage on Travis Blvd. Much better facility in all aspects!! read more

Iv been only been storing my stuff here for 3-4 months but have had a great experience so far! I feel like my things are safe and the staff is friendly. Easy access during open hours with the gate code provided at unit purchase. Easy automatic payments and had no issues updating my methods of payment as needed. I bought my lock there along with some storage boxes and haven't had any issues so far! As far as the location, the area definitely isn't as bad as some reviews make it out to be. I feel like they monitor the grounds well and make sure there isn't anyone living in their unit or loitering. I feel confident that my things are safe and it's convenient because I live and work nearby so I pop by my unit whenever need be. read more

I don't suggest this facility to anyone. Horrible location! Your items aren't as safe as you think! You got the druggies near the gate! The gate takes long to open and close. 400$ for a unit! It's not 24 hrs! You only have access during office hours and some favorite customers have better hours! Why?! Why can't we all be treated the same? They will f you over on fees! No customer loyalty! While walking to view the storage space I noticed that it was very clean. My storage is upstairs and in Fairfield you know it can be hot upstairs; but my storage spot is actually cool. Yet our experience with Solano Storage/Storage Pro was so positive that a 5 star review is a must! We needed to store household goods in a 10X25 ft. unit for 4 months between the selling and buying of our homes. From first contact Mary, the on-site manager, was highly communicative and welcoming as well as expert in assessing our storage needs. An on-site tour followed the next day, and the contractual process was very reasonable for pricing and clear in guaranteeing that gate access, alarms, and meticulous monitoring and organizational cleanliness would be maintained. When the facility first opened years ago I rented a unit. The staff was awesome the grounds were clean and they opened on time and were helpful. Last year I rented from them again because I had a good experience with them the first time. Well needless to say I had major issues. There is only ONE PERSON working the whole facility. After 2 months i had a break in. He never opens on time the sign says 10am-5pm. I waited until 11:15 so I could tell them someone broke into my unit and there were others kicked in and broken as well. Filed a police report and FINALLY got a hold of them at the facility to ask about cameras because most of my electronics were stolen. NOPE! HE TELLS ME THEY HAVE 1 CAMERA AND IT FACES THE GATE TO SEE WHO'S COMING AND GOING! Are you for real!? Wow. Not only that but there are people who are living on the property in their RVs. It's dirty beyond belief. Highly dissatisfied will definitely be choosing another facility in the future. read more

This storage I believed was one of the cleanest units available in fairfield. I have been a customer for 6 months now and for some reason I forgot to pay my bill for this month. It has only been 15 days late and while trying to access the gate the gate monitor said that my access was suspended. I called the customer service line and made sure my account was paid and the customer service rep said that I will gain access within 10 to 15 mins. I waited for 30 mins and the gate still said it was suspended. I called customer service again and they said all they can do is email the manager and he will call me once he gets the email. I waited at the storage gate till the manager onsite came out to help me. He complained that its the holiday and the office is closed. His wife said that she will go inside the office and turn on the computer and check to see whats wrong. She said she fixed it and to try again to gain access. I tried but the screen still said that it was suspended. The manager was nice enough to let me in by inputting there access number. As I walked upstairs to open my storage locker I notice a red lock was put on my unit. I rushed to catch the manager and asked if they can unlock the red lock and he said that its the holiday and he has an appointment that he has to be at, then said you should have paid your bill on time then you wouldn't have this problem. Out of all the storage units I rented out in the past this is the first one that actually places a red lock being 15 day late without even tryin to contact the customer. But thats not the bad part....while siting in my car and calling the customer service hotline again the manager leaves the storage with his wife and as I try to leave out, I tried entering in my password to open the gate and still the monitor says access suspended. So now Im stuck in this place with my son and customer service said they can only email the district manager and manager about the issue, but because its the holiday they most likely wont respond till the next business day. So I was held hostage in the storage building and no one could come and help me...Now at this time I was highly upset!!! My son crying in the car an my plans for the holiday was ruined!! Its was only a blessing when another customer gains access to the storage and lets me out!! Two hours later I just got a call from the storage saying that they unlocked the unit and fixed my access to the gate, but now it doesn't matter because I had to cancel my plans... This company don't know how to manage a storage, they all need to be fired!! I'm about to move out that storage and go somewhere else this week!! When I discovered I needed a larger storage unit to properly store all my belongings, the team again helped me locate a larger unit and revised all the needed paperwork in a very helpful and professional manner. They have made the process very efficient and smooth when I checked out after moving out my stuff. They were always helpful, friendly and totally customer oriented, and maintained the storage facility in a very clean and attractive condition. I was really disappointed in this facility. The staff was really nice and professional, and they drove me to look at some of the units and I was optimistic. The units inside were the disappointing part, the hallways smell like a car garage and there are heavy oil stains all over the ground where obviously they were leaking at one time from one or more of the units-which made me not want to store my possessions there. I don't want my possessions reeking like oil. I thought because they were inside the units would be cleaner. I think the owner needs to spring for some concrete cleaning, so that it does not smell like petroleum throughout. read more
