There is no return policy. Literally none. And there was zero mention of this before purchase. Shopping for a twin mattress for my child, I voiced concerns about its height & size relative to her bedframe. Rather than mention their lack of return policy, the rep just assured me that I shouldn't be worried, took payment, and sent me out the door. When the mattress turned out to be too small, I returned 24 hours later with a completely unused mattress and got stonewalled. But don't worry.. the next rep offered to sell me a brand new mattress to go with the one I couldn't use. I will never be back. Period. read more

We had been sleeping on our old mattress for 25 years, and our backs were killing us. With all of the kids raised, it was time to take care of ourselves. After eyeing Yelp reviews, we decided to check out the Southcenter Mattress Depot on Presidents Day weekend. I walk with a cane and was pleased to discover I could park directly in front of the entrance. It took 6 or 8 steps from the car to the store. Sweet! Once there, Ross asked us what we wanted; what type of bed (inner spring mattress and box, king size) and what firmness (very firm, but not so firm that it doesn't move at all when you sit or lie on it.) He led us to the perfect mattress right away. It took some coaxing to persuade my dignified spouse to actually lie down on the bed, but once he did, we were both sold. To be on the safe side, Ross also had us try out the next one in line, just a teeny bit softer, but no. The first one was it. I was so happy that I almost forgot to ask the price! It was a smallish discount, but the cost was about what I had expected to pay. Better still, we were able to get it delivered on Sunday, so it was just a short wait; I had expected it to be weeks away. He mentioned the warranty at checkout and we declined; he didn't push. Mentioned a sale on mattress covers; we had just bought one, and again, no pressure. Once we were home, he sent me a text requesting a five star review on Yelp. I wasn't ready yet. I wanted my mattresses first, so we could see what kind of shape they were in; we've been burned in the past, with the bed we ordered for one of our kids (from a different store) being damaged during the delivery, but this time there was no problem. The night before, we moved everything out of the path where the delivery people would need to walk. We took the pictures and mirrors off the walls, picked up the dog's toys and anything else they could trip over, and that morning, we made sure to strip the bedding off our old mattress before they arrived so they could take it away. They were quick and they were polite. A big relief! We've slept on this bed for a month now, and we couldn't be happier. I highly recommend this store for anyone in search of new mattresses. read more

Purchased a Restonic Mattress in 2018 from salesman in Tukwila store. Came with a 15 year warranty! Mattress broke down in just 6 years . Talked to Ross who told me to send pictures of Mattress, which I did. Ross sent them off to a Clint Comer, who rejected them saying that the Mattress did not meet the warranty specifications. What a joke! This Clint Comer was not even a warranty representative for our Restonic Mattress. I sent a message to Clint Comer to send the pictures to Roxanne, who was the Restonic Mattress warranty representative. CIint Comer did nothing, as I expected and eventually we had to get a new Mattress from Mattress Firm, which we now enjoy very much. We had Mattress Firm remove the faulty mattress and recommend that you don't buy from Mattress Depot USA, as it appears they don't back their warranty! read more

Bought a bed. Went in and tested some mattresses and a frame. Thought, maybe I'll buy a nice, expensive bed because... treat yo self. Beds stay with you a long time, big investment. Also, I love sleep. Bought the bed, they came to install it... and "well these parts aren't right". No return call, no "hey, there was something off about the install" just "see ya". Couple months pass, it starts rattling when the vibrate/massage function is used. Call and complain. Get a phone call from a pushy and insistent service company saying "we can only come 2 times in the next month, on the one day a month you have to go into the office, and in the morning on Saturday when you volunteer." I say that neither time works, but they threaten me with not coming out at all for like 2 months. So I gree to saturday, but only in the afternoon. They come by at 0900, call, don't get an answer, leave a single motor at the door and jet. I call back at 1000 hours and explain that I agreed only to the afternoon and their response is "we're not coming back without charging you 160.00" Call and complain to the store again. "Well definitely do something about this. We'll give you a new base, or use a different agency." Flash forward months and months. Several calls. Service agency starts texting me "send me a video of the bed". I do, but don't hear back. I text again a week later asking for an update. "What's the problem?" You can clearly hear the rattle in the video, I listen to it myself. "It rattles. And on the highest setting, no massage, only noise." Her response, "It's a vibrating bed, it's supposed to make noise." Call the store again, "sorry, you're going to have to pay them to come out. We literally did none of the things we said we were going to do." Paid a guy off the internet $50 to come and look at the bed. He fixed the issue with the rattle, but he said "the mattress they sold you doesn't work well with this style of frame. That's what's causing the high setting not to work." So.... major purchases maybe should be made somewhere that cares about customers more than just with words. read more

The place is clean and the mattresses are also well kept. Our seller Ross was on point. He knew everything, responded to every question very honestly and with experience. He asked us the right questions, including those about health, to figure which mattress is the right for us. I felt comfortable with the choice we make and we feel like we made an informed decision inside our price range. Why you shouldn't go: You may get a greater choice in other brands like the internet ones in a different store but I really can't think of anything else. Why you should go: The price, the service, the education and the great service, our seller Ross made sure we were understanding and were getting deals to stay in our budget. Unless you have a loop and ultra violet lamp I would suggest to shop somewhere else. Mattress came unwrapped, with a big liquid stain right in the middle of the mattress, with dirty hand prints from the delivery people and small tears all around the mattress and box spring. Paid close to 2 grand for something that's supposed to be brand new. Shipping wasn't same day either, 3 days later. Went to the store I showed the manager the conversations between me the actual owner and he said. "We dropped the ball on this one". I told him I wanted my money back. He said he couldn't do that because the mattress is still usable. Are you kidding me!. A brand new mattress is something that supposed to delivered fully covered. In THAT store they seemed to want to help and I figured I should come to this location. Upon arriving, we weren't greeted AT ALL. We started looking around and decided to lay on one of the mattresses. Well, that's when the guy decided to get up from his computer, yay! Anyway, he interrupted our own personal conversation to FINALLY half-ass greet us. DO NOT SHOP HERE. I again had the worst experience ever in my life. The company claims that they sell high quality clearance mattresses but the one I received had a few rips on the bottom. I didn't realize it until we had our bed delivered a few days later. when I talked to the district manager about it, he blamed me for not checking the mattress upon delivery instead of trying to make it right. So I went back to get a different mattress because getting a full refund wasn't an option. I was informed by a sales associate that a box spring was included in the price (there is more story to this) And it's to be delivered on Monday between 10-2 pm. On Monday, it was getting close to 2 pm, I still had not heard from them. So I called the store and the guy who answered the call informed me that they were supposed to deliver it this evening. He said it was his mistake that he wrote down the incorrect delivery time. I still didn't hear any apologies, instead, he said " I gave you a free box spring". BTW, it is supposed to be already included in the price but he said he was told by M that it wasn't. (Again, two different sales associates saying two different things to a customer) Upon delivery, I double checked the mattress and the box spring this time, sure enough there was a rip on the box spring. What makes me so frustrated about this company is that there is no quality control on their products before it gets delivered to a customer. Where do we begin. Daniel and his staff were absolutely wonderful. They exceeded our expectations and gave us a heartwarming sincere "good all American" experience where the customer is made to feel special. The quality of the beds were found better than promised. We needed to get out of the hotel and sleep on our beds in our new hone. Daniel made it happen without taking advantage of us. Furthermore, we needed advise on my husband's snoring issue and sure enough educated us and recommended the best solution On top of that we happened to forget to order the metal frames and believe it or not, Daniel delivered them to our house in his car 9pm the same evening. I purchased a mattress here 10/9/11 and scheduled delivery for the next day. I wasn't going to be home so I gave them my brother's number to call with the delivery ETA. They called me twice, the first time they didn't leave a message so I didn't know it was them. The second time they left a message and I called them back to tell them to contact my brother who was waiting for the delivery. They were "running late" which turned into my mattress being delivered at almost 8pm when the delivery window as 3-6pm! Now I've noticed that the box spring sounds like something inside has come loose so I called to see if I could bring it back and exchange it. I was told it was a warranty issue and I would have to deal with the manufacturer. The bed is great but the customer service is lacking. read more

After a day shopping for mattresses, my wife and I finally made it to Mattress Depot USA (toot toot!) and were greeted by Kenn. We went over what type of sleepers we are and what type of mattress we were interested in, and were led to a mattress with the words "bamboo" stitched all across the top. We laid down on it and stayed for a good 5 or 10 minutes while Kenn told us more about the mattress. As it turns out, the springs were made locally in Tacoma, and the mattress itself was made even more locally in Sumner. About that time, we both decided that was the one. The mattress we bought was a queen size Prodigy mattress. It's a hybrid mattress, which means it has springs, memory foam, thick padding, and magic. The mattress fit within our budget, and when we asked Kenn what mattress he owns, he smiled and said "the one you're buying'. We had no idea until we asked, and it wasn't the most expensive mattress in the store, which made us feel better that we weren't ever pressured into buying something we weren't interested in. The best part? Kenn made it a point to make sure the mattress was delivered the very next day! We would both recommend Mattress Depot USA when you're in the market for mattress, and we will be back when it comes time to buy another mattress when we get a bigger place! read more

I had to replace a bunch of furniture all at once - talk about expensive - so I was looking for the absolute best prices I could get, but also things I could live with for a long time. I tried a couple of mattress places but the prices were much higher than what I could manage just at that time. Mattress Depot had a good selection, let me try things out, and I found a really nice mattress set at a great price. I didn't feel rushed or pressured at any time, and the sales guy was very attentive. A year after my purchase, my daughter's bed needed to be replaced, and it was the same story - I tried to find something at a store closer to me with no luck - too expensive, unhelpful salespeople. She liked my mattress so we went back to mattress depot. The same sales guy was there and he remembered me when I came in! They no longer had my set available but were able to look up my purchase and help my daughter find something similar to my mattress. The price was right and they delivered the next day. read more

I didn't actually buy a mattress here but I just had to leave a comment. The customer service was stellar! Brian was extremely helpful and even stayed a little longer even though they were closing. I've been told not to buy mattresses here before because they are all second rate defected ones but he was very honest and told me which mattresses where second rate from the factory and what they difference was and that they have brand new mattresses too. Also he gave a great offer for mattress removal, next day free delivery and on mattress price. I've been to all the other mattress stores in the Southcenter area including Costco and I have to say that they have the cheapest prices for a decent quality mattress under $500. So if you are in need of a mattress and cant wait for a major sale then come here! I definitely recommend this place and would consider it next time I decide to purchase a mattress. read more

I bought a mattress and 2 pillows from Al. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. My boyfriend loved the pillows so much that I went back and bought him one for his birthday. Unfortunately, they sold me the wrong one and I didn't realized it until after we used it. I called Al and explained the situation. He had me bring both pillows in to compare and realized their mistake. He corrected the issue in a very professional way. He went above and beyond my expectations. I thought that he was going to have me exchange the pillow but instead he gave me the correct pillow and had me keep the other one as well. I am very unhappy with Bob at the Covington store. I purchased memory foam mattress and 2 months into having it the mattress started sagging. Several times I've called and sent messages to people I was told to contact. I've been put on a run around and been treated poorly. I refuse to make anymore payments on a defective product. I'm getting ahold of several services to file my complaint. It isn't right of what I'm being put through. The customer service is poor. He explained the differences in mattresses, mattress stores, checked my spine to make sure it was straight on the bed I liked, asked us questions about how we slept and encouraged us to take our time, to lie on different beds as long as we needed to. He never tried to up sell. When I called him after we shopped to ask a question, he contacted the manufacturer and got back to me quickly. He arranged for the beds to be delivered at our convenience and they came on time. The two polite deliver men did an excellent job taking away the old beds and setting up the new ones. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS STORE OR ANYBODY IN THIS LINE OF BUSINESSES. They are a bunch of crooks and will not ever earn my business again (nor anybody that I will ever talk to about mattresses). Purchased a box spring and mattress from them on Sunday afternoon, took it home to find out that a) the bottom of the box spring had a small piece of torn fabric and b) that the box spring was too tall for the bed set I was installing. Nevermind the torn fabric because honestly I didn't care much about that but I simply didn't need it at that point. Called and simply asked to refund it and was denied a refund of the money because THEIR team loaded it into my truck damaged and will not accept it back for a refund. Mind you, I was not the person to load it into the truck and they will not own up to their lack of good service and refund me the $50 I'm owed. Anybody want an "unusable" box spring?
