Purchased 2 California king mattresses. They didn't inflate and needed to be returned. We were told we'd get an email regarding mattress removal of our old mattresses however this has not happened. We therefore have to remove the old mattress and pay the cost of dumping it. Tomorrow the delivery of the replacement mattress is scheduled but there is the possibility of the delivery being delayed.... This is an extreme hassle since we've purchased the mattress for our cabin, which is hours away from our home. There is no way I'd ever purchase another mattress or recommend this business. read more

Recently I purchased a new mattress and two expensive pillows from Mattress Firm in Chico. Took a while to get my mattress and the pillows delivered. All of that went well. Do not buy your accessories at Mattress Firm! I could have - and should have - purchased the pillows elsewhere. Pillows, at least quality pillows, are expensive. But Bed Bath and Beyond would let you return them ! Mattress Firm says sorry it didn't work out with your $100 pillow but it's yours. Same for all accessories (mattress pads, etc). To be fair, they offered to sell me a replacement for 40% off. Right. I end up with a $163 pillow?? Save your money. But the mattress but forget the rest. read more

Our old Mattress was a Serra Perfect Sleeper and it lasted 20 years, so we bought another Serta Perfect Sleeper firm and it was delivered the next day at 9:15. I can't believe that after everything we've been through with mattress firm over a month ago, they not only delivered I am a completely different bad from what we tested in the store with the worst delivery service known to man, we went through hell and back to return their bed that they refused to except a return due to the misleading information from their end, I'm still stuck with the bill for $149 which they say is the delivery service fee. Keep in mind this bed is no longer even in our possession and they offered to fully refund everything and casually left this part of the bill hanging. Whelp, just had to haul off my mattress firm mattress to the dump. I purchased it LESS THAN A YEAR AGO and couldn't survive one more night hanging on to the side to avoid the massive sink hole in the middle. I am a female of average height and weight, yet the mattress couldnt handle my body weight !!?! Within 4 months I was crawling out of the middle of it. Imagine waking up with SORE ABDOMINAL MUSCLES from having to engage your core for 6-8 hours every night as you (attempt) to sleep, like you're camping out on Mt. Everest. I've tried folding a blanket to fill the hole in this peice of garbage. I've tried laying DIAGONALLY across, just to get some relief. Not to mention my aching back. A heating pad is a daily need for me now. I cant Imagine a mattress wearing out that fast. I've had cheapo discount mattresses that lasted YEARS longer, and even then, they never got so bad as this mattress. When I went to the store the salesgirl talked me into treating myself with a quality nights sleep. HA! And word to the wise, if you get a bum product like I did, the process to complain is such a lengthy pain in the butt that is clearly setup to make you give up and say, "forget it". They want you to print out a measure stick and take photos and take photos of the box spring ect, (likely so they can try and blame your box spring somehow. You can also pay THEM almost a hundred bucks to come look at it, and likely that money will be an additional drain into their pockets. Do not buy a mattress firm mattress. They are NOT quality. They're just priced that way. And customer service ends the second you leave the store, obviously. read more

I can't believe they're still open! Shelter-in-place has me spending a lot of time on my bed and I didn't realize just how uncomfortable I was. I was really anxious about spending too much money on a quality mattress but they have a massive selection. I did end up going with a bed a little more expensive than I was planning on, but their financing options were really inclusive. Even with my college loans and old medical bills, I got approved for the bed I fell in love with. The guys who work here are super informative, so I feel like I really know what I'm buying - PLUS all of the sanitization efforts in the store made me comfortable in the location itself. As a college student I needed to find a bed for my apartment, I have visited different stores that sell mattresses but I never really liked them until I came here. I was a bit worried that this place would be really expensive but they have a wall of affordable beds, mine was $397 for a full bed. The gentlemen who helped me out was respectful, professional and considerate, they talked to me about the different plans they have in order for you to pay off your bed and which one fits best for you. They do deliver your bed but it cost extra (around $96) but you have to wait one day which is fine. As of now I'm rating this store with 4 stars because it has only been 2 days since I've received/slept on my bed and will give an update soon. read more

Very friendly staff, best deal around with price matching even online, and extended sales for latecomers. We walked in to look at a mattress and walked out less than an hour later with a full setup of sheets, two pillow covers, a protection pad, mattress, and delivery for the next day. At first, I walked out thinking, "did I just get duped? That was way too easy..." But, I looked online for better prices and there were no better ones to be found. I was, again, pleasantly surprised when the delivery was not only the next day, but on time - which deliveries rarely are. I feel secure in our decision to buy from this place knowing that, if the bed doesn't work out, we can always exchange it. So long buyer's remorse! I'm lovin' everything about my shopping experience. Mattress Discounters is a little difficult to find, it is behind Jamba Juice, but definitely worth the effort. Kenny was a great salesperson to deal with and my mattress was delivered the next day. Kenny told me the delivery people would call me and shorten the 4 hour time they had originally given me. What a surprise to actually receive a call telling me it was between 8-10, then at 7 a.m. received a personal call from the driver that they would be there at 7:50 a.m. They were there on time, wore booties for their shoes, were extremely friendly, courteous. Great guys. They took away my old mattress for $20, which was $50 cheaper than Costco delivery. If you need a mattress, go see Kenny, he is a great guy and delivery service is outstanding. My partner and I just purchased our first mattress from this location! Steve was super helpful, we were greeted as soon as we walked in. He went over all the mattresses in our price range, and went through the different levels of firmness for each of them as well. We ended up trying out around 5 mattresses and found the one that was perfect for us. He was very helpful when we were picking out a frame as well, and overall the process was a lot less stressful than we anticipated. It took less than an hour to find the one we liked, and to process the payment as well. We picked up the mattress and box a few days later and they even offered for us to throw away the plastic cover and other trash in their dumpster if need be which was really nice.
