We had an amazing experience at Mattress Firm with Josh and Kristen! Their knowledge of mattresses was exceptional, especially when it came to understanding our very different and unique sleep and comfort needs. They listened carefully, answered every question, and were incredibly patient while we tried different mattresses and figured out what would work best for each of us. We never felt rushed or pressured to make a decision. Josh and Kristen were knowledgeable, patient, friendly, and genuinely focused on helping us find the right mattresses--not simply making a sale. That level of customer service is hard to find. We would absolutely recommend Mattress Firm, and especially Josh and Kristen. They made a difficult decision so much easier and actually enjoyable. Five stars from us! read more

After seeing a sale advertised online, I went into the store and had a very pleasant and helpful experience with Kristen. She was patient, knowledgeable, and after she thoroughly answered my many questions, I purchased a mattress and base. Highly recommend this mattress store! read more

Just make sure you talk to Gabriel. In fact, make sure he'll be there before you visit. Tell him how you sleep and just shut up and listen. Ha! Most people have a preconceived idea of what they need in a mattress versus what they actually need. Just like you don't question grandma about what to put in the Peach Cobbler, don't question Gabriel about mattresses. You can thank me, and him later. read more

Recently I purchased a new mattress and two expensive pillows from Mattress Firm in Chico. Took a while to get my mattress and the pillows delivered. All of that went well. Do not buy your accessories at Mattress Firm! I could have - and should have - purchased the pillows elsewhere. Pillows, at least quality pillows, are expensive. But Bed Bath and Beyond would let you return them ! Mattress Firm says sorry it didn't work out with your $100 pillow but it's yours. Same for all accessories (mattress pads, etc). To be fair, they offered to sell me a replacement for 40% off. Right. I end up with a $163 pillow?? Save your money. But the mattress but forget the rest. read more

Purchased 2 California king mattresses. They didn't inflate and needed to be returned. We were told we'd get an email regarding mattress removal of our old mattresses however this has not happened. We therefore have to remove the old mattress and pay the cost of dumping it. Tomorrow the delivery of the replacement mattress is scheduled but there is the possibility of the delivery being delayed.... This is an extreme hassle since we've purchased the mattress for our cabin, which is hours away from our home. There is no way I'd ever purchase another mattress or recommend this business. read more

New to town. Mattress Firm was the place to check out. I was skeptical cause I have never purchased a nice mattress, but after speaking to Gabriel, I am confident with my purchase. Looking forward to new sleep! I'm sure there are other helpful team members here, but I got lucky with Gabriel. He was patient and provided information on mattress 101. read more

Gabriel was more helpful than we could've asked for! There were a lot of options inclusive to every price range and it was amazing in there! Would recommend to anyone especially if Gabriel is working!! read more

We went in 11/28 and told Ryan B what we were looking for in a mattress. He was very helpful and knowledgeable and led us to the mattress we ended up buying. Our old Mattress was a Serra Perfect Sleeper and it lasted 20 years, so we bought another Serta Perfect Sleeper firm and it was delivered the next day at 9:15. The driver Gustavo was quick taking our old mattress and getting the new mattress to our door. We definitely recommend this store. read more

Great customer service! We recently had to make a warranty claim due to a faulty mattress and the staff was more than willing to help us. They have a range of high quality beds that can meet your budget. Definitely recommend checking these guys out. read more

Did a lot of shopping over Black Friday and cyber Monday. Kurt, at mattress firm, made this the easiest, most professional, and most successful stop of my entire weekend of shopping. He effortlessly talked my fiancé and I through multiple options to find out what we were looking for in a new bed. He didn't rush us, he didn't pressure us, and made the shopping experience quite enjoyable. I went into a few other furniture and bed stores in Chico and felt like I was on a used car lot. That wasn't the case with Kurt and I really appreciate it!! Couldn't recommend him highly enough. read more

Great. Clean and friendly associates! Very helpful. Lots of selection. This is the place to come to get your back to school mattress!! No need to shop around, one stop shop for any range of needs and prices. Thank you Mattress Firm read more

I can't believe that after everything we've been through with mattress firm over a month ago, they not only delivered I am a completely different bad from what we tested in the store with the worst delivery service known to man, we went through hell and back to return their bed that they refused to except a return due to the misleading information from their end, I'm still stuck with the bill for $149 which they say is the delivery service fee. Keep in mind this bed is no longer even in our possession and they offered to fully refund everything and casually left this part of the bill hanging. I cannot stress enough, do not ever purchase a bed from mattress firm. read more

I would like to start with what an amazing experience we had. Steve was nice, attentive, patient, and understanding. He was able to help us out perfectly and wasn't trying to sell us the most expensive or fancy anything. He wanted us to choose the bed we found the most comfortable, affordable and reliable. We didn't have a whole lot of room to work with at home and he was able solve every problem we had. Thank you again! And we will send anyone who needs a bed to Mattress Firm. read more

You want good service and a friendly staff? Then buy here. I went in to help my elderly mother buy a bed. They were patient and extremely helpful. Thanks so much for making our purchase easy and being so patient with my mother's disability. Kudos to your selling style!! read more

Whelp, just had to haul off my mattress firm mattress to the dump. I purchased it LESS THAN A YEAR AGO and couldn't survive one more night hanging on to the side to avoid the massive sink hole in the middle. I am a female of average height and weight, yet the mattress couldnt handle my body weight !!?! Within 4 months I was crawling out of the middle of it. Imagine waking up with SORE ABDOMINAL MUSCLES from having to engage your core for 6-8 hours every night as you (attempt) to sleep, like you're camping out on Mt. Everest. I've tried folding a blanket to fill the hole in this peice of garbage. I've tried laying DIAGONALLY across, just to get some relief. Not to mention my aching back. A heating pad is a daily need for me now. I cant Imagine a mattress wearing out that fast. I've had cheapo discount mattresses that lasted YEARS longer, and even then, they never got so bad as this mattress. When I went to the store the salesgirl talked me into treating myself with a quality nights sleep. HA! And word to the wise, if you get a bum product like I did, the process to complain is such a lengthy pain in the butt that is clearly setup to make you give up and say, "forget it". They want you to print out a measure stick and take photos and take photos of the box spring ect, (likely so they can try and blame your box spring somehow. You can also pay THEM almost a hundred bucks to come look at it, and likely that money will be an additional drain into their pockets. Do not buy a mattress firm mattress. They are NOT quality. They're just priced that way. And customer service ends the second you leave the store, obviously. read more

They have a terrible return policy & adjustment policy. So BEWARE! Total lack of caring no matter who you talk to. Ryan the mgr is no help either. read more

The customer service here is amazing! They helped me find the perfect bed for my needs and I can't wait until it gets delivered. They made the process so simple and painless. read more

Very happy with the new bed we just purchased here! We worked with Steve, and he took great care of us! Will most deffenitely be doing business with this store, and it's employees again. read more

I can't believe they're still open! Shelter-in-place has me spending a lot of time on my bed and I didn't realize just how uncomfortable I was. I was really anxious about spending too much money on a quality mattress but they have a massive selection. I did end up going with a bed a little more expensive than I was planning on, but their financing options were really inclusive. Even with my college loans and old medical bills, I got approved for the bed I fell in love with. The guys who work here are super informative, so I feel like I really know what I'm buying - PLUS all of the sanitization efforts in the store made me comfortable in the location itself. Thanks Ryan and Gabe, I can't wait to get my bed later this week - so much sooner than I was expecting! read more

As a college student I needed to find a bed for my apartment, I have visited different stores that sell mattresses but I never really liked them until I came here. I was a bit worried that this place would be really expensive but they have a wall of affordable beds, mine was $397 for a full bed. The gentlemen who helped me out was respectful, professional and considerate, they talked to me about the different plans they have in order for you to pay off your bed and which one fits best for you. They do deliver your bed but it cost extra (around $96) but you have to wait one day which is fine. As of now I'm rating this store with 4 stars because it has only been 2 days since I've received/slept on my bed and will give an update soon. read more

We had a great experience with Steve at Mattress Firm! In general, salesmen can be very pushy and annoying. Steve did an awesome job of not rushing our shopping experience. We walked in and were greeted right away. He had pillows covered and ready to go so we could try out multiple mattresses. We did not feel pressured to buy at all. When we did decide, Steve gave us a great deal. We walked out knowing we picked the perfect mattress for our needs! read more

I have gotten two beds from here as of now. The staff is always very helpful and gives you plenty of options to choose from. The delivery guys are curtious and on time. They also hall your bed upstairs and take the old one away. This is a great spot to go if you are ever looking to get a new bed. read more

Good customer service. Lots of bed options to select from. Bed arrived fast to be picked up from the store and super comfy bed!!!! Very satisfied with our bed since this is our first bed purchase. Looking forward to purchasing more beds in the future!!! read more

Very friendly staff, best deal around with price matching even online, and extended sales for latecomers. We walked in to look at a mattress and walked out less than an hour later with a full setup of sheets, two pillow covers, a protection pad, mattress, and delivery for the next day. At first, I walked out thinking, "did I just get duped? That was way too easy..." But, I looked online for better prices and there were no better ones to be found. I was, again, pleasantly surprised when the delivery was not only the next day, but on time - which deliveries rarely are. I feel secure in our decision to buy from this place knowing that, if the bed doesn't work out, we can always exchange it. So long buyer's remorse! I'm lovin' everything about my shopping experience. How refreshing! :) read more

Mattress Discounters is a little difficult to find, it is behind Jamba Juice, but definitely worth the effort. Kenny was a great salesperson to deal with and my mattress was delivered the next day. Kenny told me the delivery people would call me and shorten the 4 hour time they had originally given me. What a surprise to actually receive a call telling me it was between 8-10, then at 7 a.m. received a personal call from the driver that they would be there at 7:50 a.m. They were there on time, wore booties for their shoes, were extremely friendly, courteous. Great guys. They took away my old mattress for $20, which was $50 cheaper than Costco delivery. If you need a mattress, go see Kenny, he is a great guy and delivery service is outstanding. I will definitely be going back for any future mattress purchases. read more

My partner and I just purchased our first mattress from this location! Steve was super helpful, we were greeted as soon as we walked in. He went over all the mattresses in our price range, and went through the different levels of firmness for each of them as well. We ended up trying out around 5 mattresses and found the one that was perfect for us. He was very helpful when we were picking out a frame as well, and overall the process was a lot less stressful than we anticipated. It took less than an hour to find the one we liked, and to process the payment as well. We picked up the mattress and box a few days later and they even offered for us to throw away the plastic cover and other trash in their dumpster if need be which was really nice. Most importantly the mattress is great, we love it, and we sleep better at night thanks to mattress firm in Chico! read more

Steve was amazing! My husband and I lost our home in the Camp Fire and needed to purchase a king sized box spring and bed frame. After driving all over town (and dealing with Big Lots that tried to charge us $340 for the box spring and frame which is OUTRAGEOUS!) Steve was able to get us set up with everything we needed for a very reasonable price! Not only did he help us with the purchase, but he was very empathetic and made the process quick and painfree! Thank you Steve and thank you Mattress Firm for not price gouging poor people who are just looking for a something a simple as something to sleep on (ahem Big Lots, take note!). read more

Customer Service is HUGE for me. I've experience the absolute best service here at Mattress Discounter. I'm so excited to express my appreciation to Kenny for his excellent service. I recently moved here from Minneapolis MN. I was anxious to purchase a brand new bed. The first day I moved into my new place I went searching for a mattress after work. I completely forgot about Labor Day sales; if I was smart I would have taken that into consideration beforehand. Even though I came in a day after the sale Kenny offered to honor the discount for me (I didn't even ask). He was very knowledgeable and very patient as I made my decision. He made sure I got the BEST deal. I cannot begin to tell how much money I saved! If you value exceptional service visit Mattress Discounters. I hope you have as great experience as I did. :) read more
