Actually gave us a bit of history in where and how the manufacturer purchases their fine leathers for their furniture. Actually, delivered the two sofas 2 weeks ahead of schedule. The delivery service was exceptional in removing all the protective foam and plastic to include setting up the pieces and removing the old sofas. We were assisted by Cristina, who was friendly and informative, offering us details about the benefits and differences of the Queen mattresses she had in stock or could order for delivery within a week. We both ended up liking a particular mattress from a company we had not previously heard of, for which the price was about $4K less than the one we had nearly bought at that other store! Completing the purchase was quick and easy, and to our surprise the 3rd-party delivery driver brought it to our house only about 2 hours later that same day, and laid it atop the Ikea bed. All in all, a good experience: a very pleasant interaction with Cristina, and that evening we had our new mattress, plus we had saved a nice chunk of money. I just want to add that we kept the furniture covered when not in use. We called on the warranty to get the cushions fixed and it was DENIED! After going around and around with them for months we finally called the store to buy new cushions for that set. But surprise surprise it was discontinued! We had to take them to an outside source to get reupholster which cost us another $1,500 out of our pockets, on top of the $3000 we paid for them in the first place. Very disappointed with our experience at Bob's Discount Furniture. I wish we had just driven past this store and bought patio furniture from a reputable place. Never again. HFL is where old hotel furniture goes in hopes of finding a new home, and I really thought I was going to find a treasure trove of unbelievable deals and styles. Sadly, what I found there is going to have to work really hard to get adopted. The only Wynn remnant I found was a single lamp, and with a scratch and a price tag close to $100, that little guy is still sitting at the warehouse. Honestly, the place is better appreciated as an archaeological experience than as a furniture store. They have a "showroom" portion, but then the back half of the warehouse is literally stacked 100-ft high with chairs, bedspreads, curtains and on and on. Did I say bedspreads? Yes, and I had the same reaction: EWWWWWWWWW! I am scared to touch bedspreads when I am staying at a hotel. I can't imagine bringing one home to live with me. And, I had the EW reaction more than once as I wandered the aisles and imagined what might have been done to and on the various pieces of furniture. What happens in Vegas has stained in Vegas, even if you can't see it. I bet a black light party in that warehouse would be amazing. Plus, the prices really weren't cheap. The few highlights included the fact that they were showing Mulan on their TVs. (Yes, they have old hotel room TVs for sale.) There were also some acceptable wooden high-tops from Hooters -- very country/rustic, but for around $80, they were a pretty good deal. The upstairs is kind of creepy cool, as they have rooms set-up with the complete furniture packages from different hotels. There are signs that let you know which property the furniture came from, so for example: "Flamingo Double." If I were a moth, this would be my go-to hang, but as a deal-hunting human, HFL was a disappointment.

*******buyer beware**** ***** scam artists here. they will deliver you a 3 year old mattress. if you ever get them to actually come and retrieve the garbage they dropped off, they will find a spot on the mattress and tell you they can not take it back. worse yet, in my case, tell you your ''specific'' mattress is not covered under their 120 guarantee...really... pay attention!! why are you signing a 20 page contract for a mattress....why are you paying up front for something you have not even seen? you tried a bed on a show floor that you are not buying. you will be delivered a different mattress that is from "the warehouse" that has been used for years before you ever got it. look at the contract......you give up your right to a jury trial when you have to sue this company......why on earth would this be a stipulation in their contract ?!? you can not have a jury trial to get your money back after they deliver you a subpar mattress. call their customer service number, no one answers it....that may be a problem when you're trying to return your subpar mattress. if you actually decide to purchase here, which you would have to be out of your mind, i've already explained about signing for a 3 year old mattress you haven't even seen. i could write a full page about this place, last but not least.....rebuttal.....why has this company not responded to my review, because it's all facts and they don't care and have nothing to say about the garbage they deliver after they make the sale. scammed read more

We had shopped many other mattress stores and they all had the same higher pressure sales vibe. They all were trying to upsell and push their financing options. Immediately when I entered America's Mattress, I was greeted by Bill. I explained I was just looking and if I found anything that I thought my friend would be interested in, we'd return together. He was low pressure, very helpful and nice. He told me that both locations of America's Mattress in Las Vegas have the same owner. It's a locally owned, family run business, which I really liked. A couple days later, I returned with my friend and again were met by Bill. My friend did find a couple mattresses and frames that she really liked. It was a Sunday and we were also under a time crunch to have the beds delivered the next day. Bill assured us that Kevin (the owner) would make it happen. My friend had previously found another comparable bed at the "Firm" which she liked and it was priced lower than the one at America's Mattress. When we explained this to Bill, he contacted Kevin, who was able to price match the "Firm". While in the process of doing the paperwork, a very friendly woman arrived wearing an America's Mattress shirt, she introduced herself as Kim, Kevin's mom. We had questions about warranties, etc. She got us the answers and assured us that Kevin would take care of us, should an issue arise. After the purchase, we left feeling very good about supporting such nice people. Sure enough on Monday morning, the America's Mattress truck arrived and set them up. All the service was top tier. The mattresses and adjustable frame are excellent and we've been sleeping soundly ever since.

I like that their prices are quite reasonable compared to their competitor across the street, but in exchange, there is less of a cash back reward. Additionally, they charge shipping based on price of the product rather than a flat rate. In general, there is no customer service. Selection is limited as well. Sale or clearance items can be a decent find if you are there on the right day and time. Would I give them my business all things considering? Perhaps not. The customer service is part of purchasing a furniture for many folks who are trying to furnish their home and already stressed out with trying to figure everything out.

It was over 200 dollars for a table lamp. It's amazing when a salesperson can't explain why that tag was on there and then saying to us that we would have to wait 2 weeks. The salesperson wasn't rude, but wasn't nice either. It really felt as if she didn't want to sell us the lamp. It felt really uncomfortable and then we left the store shaking our heads wondering why there was a "take me home today" tag on the lamp and we couldn't take it home today. Weird. We love West Elm, William Sonoma and Pottery Barn knowing they are part of the same company, but now we may look other places. Hmm? We don't know.
