She is professional and extremely knowledgeable. She could have told Me and my husband exactly what we wanted to hear, but instead she kindly told us what would be best for the both of us. The trainee salesman was nice. However, he explained he could only help a little until his trainer finished up with the client before us. Now she the trainer was a B---- with a capital B. She was so rude to him and came across as a horrible used car salesman. She was a con artist and we spent $1,000 more than I had planned. I also hate our new overpriced bed. We decided to try Mattress Firm on Harvard Way, across from Costco. Although busy on the phone when we walked in, Shelbee waved apologized and said she would be right with us. After her call she again apologized and stated usually there were two service reps but this day just her. Professional knowledgeable, friendly and not pushing us in any direction. Answered all the questions and we were satisfied. We bought two sets and we were heading over to Costco for a hot dog and soda. While walking across the lot we were discussing Shelbee and our purchase and thought about the bed in the main bedroom, and why not buy one for that room? We turned around and bought another one. Bruce was amazing! My husband and I went to Ashley furniture first and had a TERRIBLE experience! We arrived 15 minutes shy of closing to look at mattresses. Out intention was to gauge prices and visit several other stores in the area to compare. Upon our arrival we were met with an outstanding salesperson (Rudy) asking what brings us in. Naturally I was nervous as I was aware they'd be closing so I was expecting to feel rushed and receive partial answers to my questions. Unlike my expectations, our salesperson was friendly and attentive. He took his time explaining the different mattress brands, the firmness levels and pros of each. He gave unbiased responses and allowed us to try out the mattresses as many times as we liked. They were running a sale at the time for Memorial Day. Our sales associate explained the perks of buying at the time and offered additional perks that were allowed. Though we hadn't walked in the intention to buy we walked out owners of a new mattress. I am beyond pleased with the arrangements made regarding delivery, the price of the mattress and all accommodations made. I am beyond pleased with my experience and would highly recommend. If only all buying experiences could be this easy! We walked in based on our fellow Yelper reviews. Connected with Kyle and told him our situation. (Bed is seven years old and was showing wear and some peaks and valleys.) Without being condescending, he asked us if we were familiar with all of the different options available to us. (We, of course, said no. We thought we wanted to stick with an innerspring setup, but were open to suggestions.) He took us over to a couple models to first find out what level of firmness we liked. (Honestly I was surprised at the level of firmness we enjoyed.) Then it was off to decide if we wanted an adjustable base or traditional box spring. (I've got to say the adjustable base is excellent. The ability to raise your head and feet is great for people with allergies or need to read a book or tablet.) So obviously we went with the adjustable base. Once we decided we wanted an adjustable base they moved the mattresses around to have us try each of them that we were interested in. (Great customer service! Even had us try pillows we liked for optimum comfort.) I will say that we spent WAY more than we were originally planning to on our new mattress setup. It was all based on what we wanted and never felt pressured by Kyle. If I could give this buying experience ten stars I would. What a treat to spend your hard earned money and walk away happy. My husband and I went in last Sunday and had the best mattress buying experience ever. We were kindly greeted shortly after walking in by John M., and he was such a perfect salesman we didn't even feel like he was one, more like a friend giving knowledgeable help. We asked about the Serta sale mattress, which he showed us along with a few other firm mattresses because that's what we thought we wanted. After listening to us about our previous mattress woes and the shoulder and hip pain we both have he recommended a plush mattress instead of firm. The first plush mattress and fourth overall was my absolute favorite and the one we ended up buying. From beginning to end John M. was kind, courteous and very helpful. Not pushy at all, which has been my previous experience in buying mattresses. We live out in Red Rock, past the Stead exit and got free shipping, plus the bed came the next day! The delivery guys were even 30 minutes early, and called me before showing up that afternoon. John M. gave us all kinds of info on how to take care of our new mattress and pillows, told us about their awesome 120 day guarantee and was just generally great about turning a stressful situation into a pleasant buying experience. I kinda wish there was a "no star" option. Basically, we were told we would be helped with the delivery and helped with getting the mattress on our car securely. After acquiring ratchet straps, our associate left us with a "well, I'll be at my desk, if you need a delivery let me know." Yea, the guy is a mattress salesman. But I was told that I would be helped throughout getting the mattress on my car in a way that is secure and safe. We purchased a Serta iComfort Blue Touch 1000 Cushion Firm Mattress Queen Prime with matching iComfort Box Queen Low Prime after trying them out at 2000 Harvard Way, Reno, Nevada store from salesman, Bruce Brown. The mattress and box foundation were delivered and on the first night, my spouse and I both noticed it was extremely hard and unforgiving and certainly not like the model we had tested in the store. We tried to convince ourselves that we would get used to its extreme firmness. We could not. After 65 painful nights of trying to sleep on this mattress, I called the store and spoke to Joe, the manager (who was also working there the day we picked out our mattress) to have the mattress picked up, which it was. Our original price was refunded, but not the $83.79 mattress pad we're now stuck with. I asked that the initial delivery charge of $40.00 as well as the return charge/processing fee of $79 be refunded because this mattress felt nothing like the one we had tried out in the showroom. We tried to get the $119 refund from Patrick at the store, but he told us the salesman, Bruce, tells all his customers that it will take months to break in a new mattress to feel like those in the store. Not so. We told Patrick that Bruce told us no such thing. Patrick then told us our request for a refund was a case of "he said, she said", and that he believed Bruce, even though my spouse also confirmed Bruce had not provided that information to us. Patrick also said he could not refund our money because of "our perceived feel," and used an analogy that we could not return a new KIA automobile because of our perceived feel of the new seats. I would suggest different arguments be used on Mattress Firm's customers in future. That one just doesn't fly. read more

They refused to return my CLEAN mattress after having neck and back pain from it. They said it had a stain but I will attach my CLEAN mattress photo to this post. The men who came to look at it were being racist after they saw my American flag hanging and sent fake photos or someone else's stained mattress to them, it might be photos they just keep and use on everyone. But then when I tried to explain to Patrick the asst manager those photos are not my mattress he stopped responding to my emails and said he couldn't help me because these men had photos of a mattress with a stain. The photos they had were also close up and taken with a flash light in a dark area but they came to my house during the day below is a photo I took just after they left my house and the photos don't match.
