We went to Mattress Firm to buy our daughters new full size beds for their birthdays, when we found the 2 we wanted we purchased with the understanding that they wouldn't be in for about a week (which we were ok with) we called the day before to check and make sure they were in and were told that now it would be another week...we were disappointed but said ok. ANOTHER week went by and we received a call and said that MAYBE we could get them in another week!!? (So 3 weeks and we still aren't sure if we will get them) They are not sure now but when we ordered it wasn't going to be a problem? The salesman was very nice (only reason I raised the score to 2 stars) but this run around is very disappointing to say the least. My LT son is finally home for Christmas after being deployed to Afghanistan last year. I went and got a new bed for his Holiday visitas he's finally home on leave. Paid for it and got it three weeks ago, paid $99 for delivery and no bed on the truck. WORSE yet they can't figure out how to get a twin bed from Keene NH to Bellows Falls VT today. So my son had better accommodation in Afghanistan than he will here tonight thanks to Mattress Firm. I urge other people in need of a Mattress to go to Young's or Frazier &Sons or Aumands. They have never done this to me. I will never purchase anything from them again. The national company provides no support, the warehouse is indifferent to customers. The salesperson Brenda was wonderful and has gone above and beyond to try and help, but this is a national chain and they cannot/will not even take a phone call from me. read more

If I could give a negative star I would. My girlfriend and I had bought a bed from Brenda the store manager and was very unhappy with getting a bed that wasn't the standard size and with the law tags ripped off. When calling to have it replaced Brenda told us that we had to contact Corp. After a week of going back and forth we had it made right by Tanya the assistant store manager. I would advise to all to not deal with Brenda because if something isn't right you have to get it fixed through other employees read more

We told the salesman we wanted a very firm mattress, preferably with a pillow top. He showed us one brand we didn't recognize (International?) and said these mattresses were sold to hotels. Within two months, the mattress had sunk where we slept. We rotated it every week, to no avail. We complained, and Sleepy's put us in touch with the Mattress Police. A guy in a sweatsuit showed up and measured the level of the sunken area of the mattress with a string. Based on his expertise, it was determined that this mattress had "failed" and could be replaced, but the box spring had not yet sunk enough to replace it. We were offered the same mattress, or could get a firmer one from the same company for $200.00 more, plus they made us pay for delivery again. We opted for the firmer one to avoid this same nightmare in the future. It is now three years later. We are waiting for the Mattress Police to arrive with string to measure the failure of the "firmer" mattress. The only reason we didn't call after two years is because we were so upset and didn't want to go through this again. Now our backs are hurting, the mattress looks exactly like the first one did after a short time of use, and, finally, the box spring groans loudly each time we sit on the bed. When we called Sleepy's, the manager said that mattress company was no longer in business (Duh!), so the best they might be able to do is a store credit. Our experience started out wonderful, our salesman was great and we loved the mattress we were buying. The experience soon took a turn for the worst...the delivery time we were given was 7am-10pm...when the bed arrived on Wednesday part of the frame was broken. After complaining we were able to get the broken pieces to be delivered on Friday (just in time for our friends to visit). When the delivery men came on Friday they quickly realized that the bed was missing a piece and could not be put together. We had gone into this store the week before just to look around and get a idea of what we wanted. While we were there, there was another family with two children who were getting a little crazy but the sales person, Danielle was accommodating, patient, and sweet with them. She made sure to help us both, quickly running through the store to suite each of our needs, we were very impressed with her dedication and curt-icy. We left having a better idea of what we wanted, and honestly regretted not being able to make the purchase that day so that she could get a commission for it. We had the option of buying online, it would have been cheaper and the pros were all there, but we were so impressed with this woman we had to go back to the store. We had our three little ones with us, and luckily she was there. She never faltered in trying to find the best match for our needs along with entertaining our girls and being so patient with their late day/no nap craziness. I can't say enough good things about Danielle F. I wish more sales people were as knowledgeable, and caring. We made our purchase and I have already told my family and friends to purchase their next mattress from this store, or to directly go to her store (she told us her usual store was in Lebanon) she is a fantastic worker and a great asset to this company. My husband and I agreed that we made the right choice in paying a little more to have the face to face sale, she was extremely helpful.
