This should be a ZERO star review for UNACCEPTABLE SERVICE. I ordered a $1,500 Sealy HD Premium Queen mattress last week. It was scheduled for delivery Sunday and nobody showed up, yet the delivery team lied and claimed they did. It was rescheduled for Wednesday. After waiting around a second time, the crew finally arrived only to bring the completely WRONG mattress. I took TWO days off of work for these deliveries. I have been forced to sleep on my couch for weeks and desperately needed this bed. Their pathetic attempt at a resolution was to offer me a couple of free pillows as if that makes up for a missing $1,500 bed and weeks of back pain. When I called the Natick store to get this disaster resolved, Store Manager Matt completely passed the buck. He told me there was nothing he could do because it is a third party delivery service. He didn't even bother to apologize for the extreme inconvenience and massive waste of my time. Instead of fixing their mistake, his only real solution was to just push a refund on me and walk away. Mattress Firm took my money, botched two deliveries, and Matt completely washed his hands of any responsibility. If you expect a company to actually honor its delivery dates or care about customer service, avoid Matt and this location at all costs. Shambolic operation. read more

I dropped into my neighborhood Natick store and was greeted by Don; I told him what my comfort and price preferences were and he showed my several options, which we quickly narrowed down expressly in under 1-hour. I had the new mattress and box-spring delivered within two days; the guys doing the delivery were ahead of schedule and did a great job taking away the old one and placing the new one. Manager (Sarkan something) was condescending and impatient. First he told us that three completely different mattresses are "identical" - they were not. Then he became annoyed that we wanted to see a King size, while apparently they only have Queen on display, and you're expected to make the purchase sight-unseen. The manager of the Natick Mattress Firm pulled a bait and switch on my granddaughter and me. She sold me 2 mattresses with free adjustable frames, 4 pillows, 2 mattress protectors and 2 mattress covers (close to $2,000). Throughout the entire process, which took close to an hour, my granddaughter (age 10) was trying out the adjustable base and asking questions about raising the head and the foot and about pushing the flat button. Her delight was obvious, and she interacted with Natasha about this frame repeatedly. When my order was delivered, the base was only adjustable at the head. When I questioned Natasha about getting the wrong base, she said this was the "free" base and the one my granddaughter was so excited about was a "step up". This was never mentioned to us, and we were clearly and repeatedly led to believe we were getting the fully adjustable frames. Natasha refused to do anything about her deception. I called corporate and was told I had to deal with the store. When I protested that I had and had gotten nowhere, I was told a regional manager would call me in 24 to 48 hours. I have received no call. I seem to have no recourse but to warn others about the deceptive practices at this location. My granddaughter was so disappointed! read more

This is an embarrassing review to write as we fell for a classic upsell. We were replacing an older Tempurpedic mattress that had a perfectly working electronic base. We explained the situation to the salesperson, who told us that it was best to replace everything and that Mattress Firm offered free electronic bases anyway. He was marginally ok with Mattress info using standard selling tools and examples and led us to an expensive mattress. He also shifted gears telling us that the "free" base was flimsy, and it was in our best interest to "upgrade" to a better option for $700. For some unexplainable reason, we bought his story and, in the end, agreed to buy a whole new mattress, base, etc. for about $6,000. He also charged us $150 for delivery removal of the existing bed. We specifically asked if the removal included everything and were assured that it did. Of course, when the delivery arrived, they refused to remove the base--so we, in turn, refused delivery as we don't do business with liars. We then went to Jordan's and explained the identical situation. The salesperson immediately asked, "If the base is solid and working, why would you even replace it at all?" In the end, we kept our base and bought a great mattress for $2,000--saving four thousand dollars and feeling much better about not being upsold or lied to by Mattress Firm. I highly recommend Jordan's as their ethical sales practices addressed our needs rather than focused on running up our invoice. read more

Here's what I've learned about Sleepy's, they more concerned about selling you a mattress for as much money as they can get you to spend than they are about making sure you get the best value for your purchase. There is actually another Sleepy's less than a mile up the road from this location. I was in the market for a mattress so I decided to give Sleepy's a go. I first visited the location in Framingham. The sales guy, despite his shoddy appearance, was a very nice who seemed to know a lot about mattresses. After trying out several models, I narrowed it down to the Kingsdown Ariana. This mattress is one of the most expensive they sell. After a phone call to someone, the sales guy said he was able to get the price down to $3900 from the $4500 listed price. He gave me the quote and said the price was good for 7 days. Later that night while browsing the Sleepy's website I was able to chat with a Sleepy's specialist whom I asked for some additional information on the same mattress. After a short chat he offered to give me a price quote on the mattress. I accepted his offer and he sent me a quote for $3100. He emailed me the quote and told me it was good for 7 days. In a matter of a few hours I was able to get the price down from $3900 to $3100 on the same mattress from the same company! This gave me something to think about. Specifically how honest was the sales guy I spoke to earlier in the day. The next day I decided to visit the Sleepy's down the road in Natick. I went in there pretending to be a new shopper and inquired again about the same mattress. The sales women said I had picked an excellent mattress. She said that it lists for $4500, but she'd be able to get me an early President's Days price of $4100. When asked if that was the best she could do, she said yes. That's when I laid down my cards and played my hand. I informed her that I had a quote for the same mattress from Sleepy's for $1000 less than she just offered me. She acted shocked. She said she would need to call her district manager to get approval to match the quote. After a quick phone call she said she was given the ok to match the quote. I said "you can match it, but can you beat it?", to which she replied "no". She did say that to sweeten the deal she would throw in free shipping. Sleepy's website advertises free shipping on all Kingsdown mattresses. What a joke!!! Within 24 hours I was given three different quotes on the same exact mattress. Sleepy's is a joke. Perhaps the guy that gave me the quote online was being honest, but the two sales people I dealt with in Framingham and Natick were trying to take me to the woodshed while pretending to be my best friend. Stay away from Sleepy's unless you know exactly what you are doing. I feel horrible for the poor suckers that unnecessarily throw their money away when shopping here. WORST customer service! Do not purchase from the Natick location! The manager Serkan is unprofessional and degrading towards customers and verbally abusive. I ordered a mattress from this location, when it was delivered it was the wrong mattress. When I called he was abrasive and yelling on the phone. Funds were to be refunded on my account in which they were not refunded per discussed. When I physically went into another store location the manager called him in which he yelled and spoke negatively about me. Area managers were called and the solution was apologizing for his rude behavior and that their mattress are mislabeled at the center. People are better off sleeping on the floor than ordering from the Natick location. read more

His knowledge, professionalism and personality were what sold us on the items he had in stock. He also took the time to make sure the covers we were looking at would fit the bed we had even when we didn't know the measurements off hand. We were hoping to find something as quickly as possible and he was able to get us what we were looking for and back home quickly. I purchased a mattress last week with the help of Chris Netro. I had it delivered Saturday morning and so far it's amazing! This is the first mattress I have ever bought and Chris was kind to me through the entire process. I started at Jordan's, where I tried about 20 beds. The sleep lab staff there pounced on me as soon as I walked through the threshold. Ick. And then I think I tried maybe 10 beds at Sleepy's. Chris spent over an hour with me while I hopped on all the mattresses. He helped me price match the one I really wanted and I feel I got a good deal in the end. The delivery guys took away my mattress and box spring, broke down my old bed frame and brought my new mattress and box spring upstairs in less than 10 minutes. I'd like to start by stating the Sleepy's i'm reviewing is the one about .5 miles farther down Rt 9, than the old Mattress Giant (now also sleepy's) After visiting many stores, Bob's, Jordans, and the other sleeps on Rt 9 I came in here for one final look at mattresses. I just hadn't found the "right" bed throughout my search that day. The manager was quick to come up to me, introduce himself, and listen to my stories of the days search. He showed me a few options in and out of my price range, within reason of course. After trying out all the mattresses he'd shown me, I found that i'd fallen more in love with the memory foam pillow he had me using than anything else. After discussing a few more options I was shown a mattress that I finally decided was the right choice for me. The manager was kind enough to throw the $100.00 I loved into the purchase free of charge. I placed a deposit and was on my way.... That leads us to today... I came into a few financial SNAFU's in the 2 days since I made my deposit and decided I would not be able to make this purchase after all. I went back and the manager again was there. He was more than pleasant about returning my money but inquired about my situation. We discussed it, and I was told that due to my job in EMS/Fire/Police, he'd see about keeping the sale price for a later date if I changed my mind. Not 2 minutes after walking out of the store the Corporate office called offering me a special employee pricing because of my unique and unfortunate situation. When all was said and done I would receive a mattress, LP platform, frame, and that AWESOME pillow for 66% less than the advertised price. I was taken aback, never was I treated so well by a company. My line of work doesn't always pay the best and to be told by both corporate, and the manager at the store how much they appreciate what I did... well it was very touching. I went back to the store to speak with the manager, and he told me that he felt bad about my situation. He wanted to make sure that those of using working in public service get a good night sleeps. That since I had such a difficult time finding a mattress he saw no reason for me to miss out on that. On behalf of those of us in EMS/Fire/PD, i'd like to thank you Sleepy's for your amazing treatment. We don't get recognition often, and I understand that this is a unique situation, but thank you very much. I would highly suggest that anyone looking for the personal touch, at a corporate store, shop at Sleepy's. Also try out the "I Love my pillow" pillow it's worth the $100.00!!!!!! read more

Recently purchased a mattress from sleepys in Natick. Staff is friendly. They have a lot of knowledge on what mattress was appropriate for my husband and I. Best part was I felt no pressure like I usually do at other places. They were nice enough to offer a coupon, and will throw in pillows or a mattress protector depending on what is being purchased. Warning - This is a rant! I just need to share my horrible experience at Mattress Firm in Natick. I purchased a mattress last week and it was delivered yesterday but it was definitely NOT the mattress I ordered as it was hard as a rock, like sleeping on a wood floor. My sales person was Frank and he told me that I could save an additional 10% by waiving the return policy, which we did stupidly. This morning I went in and went to lay on the mattress I thought I was getting and it was a world of difference. I asked to speak with a manager named MaryAnn Zachara who yelled at me from the moment I said hello and when I asked her to stop yelling at me she just kept on doing so - NEVER have I had such an experience. Then I spoke to the District Manager named Naomi Taylor who righted the wrong and helped me get a new mattress being delivered on Sunday and I simply paid the difference but this just killed my day and I would not go back to them. Too bad as the delivery experience was actually great BUT to be yelled at and not even get a chance to speak was absolutely horrific - Howie, the salesperson that spoke with me in the store today was very kind and supportive and embarrassed by his manager's behavior - Bob's and Jordan's would NEVER treat you this way!!! We had to return our mattress because of comfort issues and worked with Kim Ahearn. Her goal was to listen to our needs and find the mattress that would make us the most comfortable. She was very knowledgeable about all their products and explained their differences to us very patiently. After spending a great deal of time with us we did an exchange and she even waived the delivery, exchange fees for us. We could not have and a better experience. I never met Kim before, but would highly recommend her to anyone and Sleepys for their return policy. Don originally sold us the first mattress and he was very helpful as well. read more

I just want to stress, this is my first review ever and I just want to warn everyone to be careful buying from this store or cancelling orders. I purchased a bed for my disabled aunt and then realized she needed a better kind. Within 2 days of the order I cancelled and the store claimed my refund would take 7-10 business days. Over two weeks later I have gotten no refund back and called this store to follow up over 5 times. Some say "you should hear back" and then I don't get follow up. They give me the number to the customer service line that redirects me back to the store I ordered and refunded from claiming the store needs to email accounting(why the store didn't know that is beyond me)I was finally able to connect with the manager for the store and I'm praying he will keep his word and contact me back by tomorrow, but if not I'll need to file a dispute through my bank and have to tell my aunt it'll be even longer until she has a suitable mattress for her disability!!
