WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECIEVED! We purchased a bed set and frame from your Stafford VA store on 12/3, and paid for delivery which was scheduled for 12/5. The delivery people dropped off the bed, but not the bifold that we had purchased. We were told the item would be delivered the next day, but nothing came. We had tried contacting the store but they would not return the call.
I stopped by the store on my way home from work to ask about it and spoke with our salesperson M******* A***. She was the rudest most obnoxious person I could have dealt with. She told me that we had not bought the bifold (not true it's on the receipt), and finally offered to "give us" a floor sample. When I started to question that (wanted to know why I was being offered a floor sample when I paid for a new one) she became belligerent, and started to accuse me of "having an attitude. An argument ensued and I asked her who she worked for so I could speak with them. She refused to tell me and said "Mattress Discounters". She told me to leave the sore and then gave me the middle finger as I was leaving!
I was outside the store calling my wife on the cellphone, when she came out of the store and said she was calling the police. I told her go ahead I'd like to talk with them about not getting what we paid for. She then said I could come back and get the item and that she would be there until 8:00.
I returned a short time later, this time with my daughter, both to help me carry the item and as a witness in case she started acting like that again. I picked up the bifold with my daughter and left.
When I got, I found that she had called my wife to tell her that I had threatened her and gave her the finger when I left (both not true since my daughter was there with me. Looking at the caller D there are three calls from her personal cell phone to my house in the matter of 30 minutes.
I cannot believe that a person like Michelle Abel would be allowed to work there. I have never posted a story like this to an internet web site, but am very tempted to on this occasion. To make matters worse, I paid $85 for delivery and then had to go and pick up the item myself.
