Purchased a Sealy Sleepys mattress. Immediately had neck aches, backache, etc. I thought it was related to stress. Went to many chiropractors. Still could barely move in the morning. Contacted mattress firm and want me to remove my mattress and take pics! I'm over 73 years old.. how am I supposed to move it. We are supposed to turn it around after 6 months. I called them to assist me and pay a fee...no they don't do that. Can't return without photos. Their sleep experts ARE NOT EXPERTS! Locate a different mattress company that has a better customer service department and want their customers to be happy! read more

I had a great experience shopping for a new mattress, David was so helpful and when they did not have a floor model I wanted to see, he sent me to a nearby store near Mayo Blvd and Domonique and Giuseppe helped me there. One star because I can't leave it blank. I came to this store first. I surprised Brad as he had his feet up on the desk which he had to scramble to stand up when I walked in. long story, three mattresses later, dissatisfied with my mattress and am using it as my guest room bed. Didn't have the medium available so sold me a firm with a medium topper. "Jump on it a few times, it'll soften." After a few days my shoulders and hips were so sore I could barely walk. Returned it. Went to another store (in hopes of not seeing the same sales person) , thought I was getting a different mattress but had the same result. Returned it. Went to another store where I was told the two previous mattresses were basically the same. At least this person had me lay down on a bed to try and figure out what I needed. Frustrated, bought a third. Now it was the extreme and was too soft. Legs were getting numb after the first week and lower back pain makes it unable for me to sleep on. I'm never too picky but I travel a lot and spend quite a bit of time in hotels. That's where I seem to get my best sleep. The sales people here are NOT trained to help me find the right bed. The mattresses on site are so worn that it's difficult to feel what you're actually getting. Not to mention the return/restock fees (twice) and the gold-touch delivery charges (three times). Shopping here was one of the worst decisions I've ever made. Should've gone to Costco! There's no email address on their website so I cannot send them a copy of this review. Where the customer is never right seems to be the new landscape in this new landscape. We purchased a new mattress and was offered the red carpet service for an additional $99. The red carpet service was to install a new mattress and box set and remove the old mattress and box set. There was no documentation or agreement that if your 18 year old setup has "A Mark" they are unable to remove the old setup. Upon delivery we were told that the old setup could not be taken away. Management of the delivery company was rude and did not address the issue other than a one sentence "Sorry to inform you we will not be taking your old set". The manager was more than willing to indicate she was indeed a manager but beyond that inept at dealing with the agreement at hand. Not impressed one bit and I've purchased many items from this chain over the years. Will search elsewhere for my next purchase. read more

Great customer service, and a great selection. If they do not have the bed in stock, they can refer you to one of their other stores so you can go there to test it. We ended up buying a mattress from mattress, firm and both sales people at the Tatum location and at the Scottsdale and Mayo Boulevard location were fantastic. We also bought a mattress, pad and pillow. We are excited for our delivery. I really like that you can try the mattress out for 120 days to decide if you like it. And I highly recommend going there for your next mattress purchase. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. I previously purchased two beds at two different locations and called earlier to ask about the warranty on my pillow and swapping it out as it was defective. I spoke with a very friendly Travis at the North Scottsdale location. As I was closer to this one when I got around to it I came here. Walked in and explained everything to Janet and was met with a,"that's not allowed" she then proceeded to call me a liar and say no one told you could swap it on the store, then called the other store only to find out my story was in fact correct. She then in front of me verbally spanked that poor coworker as well. I've been sitting here for twenty minutes after informing her it's ok I'll jus call corporate to her reply or are u threatening me??? No I was hoping they could help me since you won't. I've purchased several mattresses from Sleep America over the years. This sale to Mattress Firm / Mattress Pro has gone badly. I purchased a floor model Jan 12th. It was to be delivered Jan 16 but no call no show, turns out they lost the box springs so they would be there the next evening and gave us 2 pillows & a mattress pad to make up for it. Again no call no show. They've lost the bed completely now. They had us go down the street to pick out another mattress that wasn't a clearance item. Thinking the end was in site I was happy but it's 2 weeks now and still no bed. I feel for the employees, they are stuck in the middle with no back up support. read more

Going into a mattress store on the national level such as Mattress Firm, one has high hopes of great customer service. Everything went great until delivery. The day before my much anticipated mattress was to be delivered I got an email and phone call giving me info on the window of opportunity, when I could expect my mattress. No phone call, email or text day of. This concerns me. Communication is key in making the customer happy. I've got no mattress, just a door tag explaining that we would have to reschedule the delivery. I called the 1-877 number and filed a complaint against the store. The customer service people were National level company friendly and I thanked them for their kindness. I'm having a DM call me ASAP. The salesperson at this store was excellent, although the hook of getting people into Mattress Firm is the promise of 70% off sale going on ~ you get there and the only mattresses 50% off and above are standing up against the wall ~ the other "one" mattress that they had was apparently 6500 and that one, of course was, in fact 70% off but was sold. Darn, I missed it. Sure they price match, but being on the National Level saying that you are having this huge sale as a hook ~ why not live up to that? Top dollar paid. No mattress! The manager of the store could care less, actually laughed when I asked him questions about who and how I can contact a DM ~ was given the name Jim Rogers ~ but no number, just a snicker of laughter ~ even almost got into a race thing when I thought he was joking about his name ~ I really thought the guy on the phone was undermining me but I exhausted all efforts of him accusing me of that ~ seriously? This company would stoop that low? Two things I would like for this office to learn ~ delivery should have top notch customer service just like the customer service at the 1-877 number folks had ~ not just leave a door tag and move onto the next delivery. I use Amazon.com as a reference ~ Really, these days, there should be no excuses on good delivery ethics and customer service ~ as we've see Amazon far excels in this department. I mean, this is a mattress store ~ why not be like Amazon and extend the hours. Hire workers, ordinary people who want to be delivery people like Amazon does, where Mattresses can be delivered after hours? People do work so they can shop in your store? Makes me feel as if I should've taken the day off, perhaps? Also, having a manager make reference to the unspeakable? I mean seriously? He was actually going down that path. I nipped that in the bud. He was snickering in the background, didn't take the call serious, was completely unprofessional. You can't teach a company how to do their job but on a National level I expected more. It's not everyday you go into a mattress store ~ I mean most people steer away from them. I'm definitely using Amazon.com or Costco from now on to get my much anticipated BeautyRest mattress. Hopefully you all can work on the delivery process. Hire people, like Amazon does to make later deliveries, treat people who have just spent close to 2K with more respect. I made a return visit to purchase a Tempurpedic with adjustable bed frame for an elderly, debilitated friend of mine. Janet was very informative and helpful, always professional and a pleasure to do business with. The bed was delivered and the frame was a bit too high to be safely navigated in and out.
