The store where it was purchased could not lower the legs on my adjustable bed frame, so I went to Mattress King and talked to a gentleman by the name of Walker. He assured me that he could find a solution to my problem. He came to my home with adjustable legs for my bed, and he installed them, totally solving my problem. Very very awesome company and wonderful customer service! I was assisted by a very friendly and very knowledgeable gentleman named Walker. With everything going on in the world right now they not only assisted me over the phone with every question I had but they didnt try to oversell me on anything! I am as well as I am sure alot of people out there are dealing with budgeting and trying to save money they helped me find a mattress that fit my needs and the price was exactly in the budget I had! I have Sciatica and my husband has lower back issues and he kept all that in mind when he sold me my new mattress, he also personally delivered it direct to my home! most of the mattess places I have been calling all had only curbside pickup, which while I can also appreciate for saftey/reasons, not having to go but a few feet from my door was much much more convenient! Walked in unsure because you never know, and to be honest the outside although not dirty or in a bad area, it still left a lot to be desired. We were pleasantly surprised. Walked in and we're almost immediately greeted by Cory. We told him our budget and he was stellar. Showed us several options in our price range, and because we are on the California side of South Lake we got FREE delivery (you have to spend at least $499..for the free delivery) and no sales tax. All in all we were in and out with a new bed in 20 minutes! And with a 2 year old running around, it was nice to be quick. Also..Cory was great with baby, didn't mind her or act annoyed at all when she ran up and down trying to pull out all the tags :/ Overall great experience, thanks again Cory!! These guys are awesome. Just bought our first mattress in Tahoe from them. Walker was very knowledgable and very relaxed; he didn't push us at all and let us take our time, even though we rushed into the store and picked out our mattress in an hour while they held the truck to make same day delivery. They actually followed us home from the store. I know that's probably rare, but it was incredibly helpful. Plus, they don't have to charge sales tax and most deliveries are free (over a certain $...can't remember how much) because this is their only store. We'll definitely be going back. read more

We were just looking for a mattress and I ended up buying a new mattress, bed frame and a dresser. Not only were the prices much better for the same product, the service was outstanding. We had an issue with the original mattress we purchased which turned out to be a known issue and Cory REPLACED the mattress immediately. Just purchased two sets from Mattress King on a Friday. Lonnie and Cory were extremely helpful, courteous and friendly. Delivery was the next day. Delivery Guys were awesome dealing with out multi level home in Tahoe, very respectful of our home. They had to move a queen set down two levels which included having to go outside since the stairway inside was too hard to navigate. Then bring in the new queen set up a flight and a full set. Did I mention it's a flight down from where they had to park too and they had to cart all the old stuff out?? I highly recommend Mattress King. Everyone I had contact with was great!! read more

I went to Mattress King because they had been recommended by some family friends. When I went into the store, I informed a gentleman (sorry, I can't remember his name - it wasn't Cory...) that I was in search for a bed that would be a good fit for me - I am a larger person and have a degenerating disc in my back. He showed me a bed that his wife (who has similar back problems) has, and warned me of the price first. He also showed me less expensive beds. I left without making a purchase that day, and came back over a week later to purchase. EDIT: My only complaint (regarding an employee) was immediately addressed and resolved when Cory became aware of it. You can go anywhere to purchase a bed. But by going to Mattress King, you not only receive quality products at competitive pricing, you also receive quality customer service. I wouldn't recommend shopping anywhere else. read more

Very knowlegable about mattresses and 5-star customer service. The prices were comparable to the chain stores but the service was much, much better. They accidently brought the wrong size and, where a chain store would tell you they would re-deliver in a week or so, not Mattress King. They came back the next day at a time that was convenient to me (not a delivery window, an exact time). I live about 25 miles away from the store so it was a special run, just to make their error right. You do NOT get that level of customer service from most stores these days. As an update to my previous review about Mattress King in Carson City, I just wanted to say that it has been two months now since we purchased our bed and it still feels great! Actually, I think it feels a little better now because it has been broken in. Before, the bed was a bit firm, which is to be expected from a new bed, unless you buy one that is ultra plush or something. Still very happy with our bed! When the time comes for us to have to get another mattress, I would definitely like to go with Mattress King! read more

Horrible customer service!! These guys took 2 weeks to get us our mattress. They wouldn't work with us on the delivery time even though I explained we had to attend a funeral service at the same time said we could wait another week; therefore, we were not there to realize that we ordered the wrong size King. Although we called immediately upon figuring it out, never slept on it and it was still in the plastic they wanted to charge $370 to exchange it for the right size. Apparently in the "small print". That is outrageous since we had saved and saved to even purchase the mattress. Now, we need to figure out something to do with or brand new mattress that doesn't fit. I can guarantee that how ever we decide to solve this problem it will not involve Mattress King. Let me also mention that the sales clerk that was helping us had very colorful language while I was, with my children, spending thousands of dollars. SMH!!! read more

Other places did not even approach us on what we may like, just told us what mattresses fit our price range.
