In that time: * The heater has failed twice (and is currently not working again) * The chlorinator has been replaced * The pool lights have been replaced twice * The silver quartz finish already looks stained and bleached Maybe some of this is poor Hayward Industries equipment, but it's hard to know because the service tech changes constantly -- about every 6 weeks -- so there's zero accountability or continuity. This is a saltwater pool, yet instead of properly diagnosing or maintaining the chlorinator system, they routinely dump gallons of liquid chlorine into the pool every week. Actual "service" often feels limited to: * Emptying the leaf basket * Lightly brushing the pool * Adding chemicals And nearly everything beyond that becomes an extra charge: * Chemicals? Extra. * Filter cleaning? Extra. * Repairs? Extra. * Someone coming out because the system they maintain stopped working? Extra. Worse, many of the techs seemed unfamiliar with how the equipment even operates, making service calls frustrating and unproductive. What really bothered me was adding up the actual cost over three years. Once you include all the side charges, repair calls, chemical add-ons, and maintenance fees, the true cost is easily several times higher than the advertised "weekly service" price. The marketing and online reputation look polished, but our real-world experience has been expensive, inconsistent, and lacking accountability.

He came, explained how to repair the issue and assured my husband that if there truly was any plaster issue he would address it through the warranty. They worked everything out to my husbands satisfaction (he can be even more critical than me). If anything changes I will update accordingly but as of now our issues are resolved pending an acid wash. If you have any issues- reach out to the office directly.

I worked closely with Ben, who really took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and brought my vision to life. He collaborated with me on the design, paid attention to every detail, and the end result is a pool that honestly exceeded my expectations! It looks absolutely incredible. What I appreciated most was how honest and straightforward he was throughout the process. There was never any pressure or upselling. Just genuine guidance and expertise. The entire team was responsive, communicative, and made everything feel seamless. On top of that, their pricing was very reasonable, especially considering the quality of work delivered. I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out and would highly recommend Pools R Us to anyone looking to build a pool. Truly a great experience all around!

Not only were we never acknowledged, but it felt as though our time and business simply did not matter. As a lead sales associate, Randy should be setting the standard for customer service, not demonstrating how to disregard customers who are waiting. A simple greeting or acknowledgment would have gone a long way, but we received neither. Customer service is about treating people with respect and fairness. Unfortunately, that was completely lacking during our visit. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this location and will think twice before returning.

Xterior Creations have been nothing short of amazing! I…read moreinitially reached out to 5 pool builders to spec out a potential project I had roughly designed for our backyard. Although the other pool designers/builders did reply and some actually showed up to take photos, measurements and do a mock up design, Jason Jolfs of Xterior Creations took the cake on this one. Jason was very thorough and listened to everything I showed and explained to him about my backyard ideas. When I received the renderings back from Jason we had a winner. Out of all the designers I had met with, Jason nailed every single little detail I had shown and mentioned to him. He even included where our little chihuahua would be relaxing on the artificial turf in his rendering. Not to take anything away from the other designers since they all added their own design ideas/suggestions in the renderings but Jason just had every single thing we wanted in the design he created 1000%. The build process was swift and smooth thanks to our amazing project manager Marco. He was there with us every step of the way and walked us through everything we were to expect and encounter. The steps and time frame was quite accurate as well barring any weather delays. From the dig team to the truss to the concrete and plaster it was a very fun and interesting process to see happening. Marco always stopped by to check on the project and went above and beyond fixing/sorting a few things out himself when needed. For the cost of this pool project which was below the others bids, we definitely got our moneys worth and have been recommending Xterior Creations to friends and neighbors. Major thanks again to everyone we worked with Jason, Marco, Yajaira, Mayra, Kendrick, Rocky, Jonah! I know more than most of the pool repair guys I've met in the last eight years. So when I call someone, and they say my salt cell must be bad.. or dirty....I move on. I posted for help on Next Door. Designer Pools replied that they could check it out at no cost. Two other companies charge $150, which could be put toward repair. Another wants $55 and it doesn't go toward repair unless it is an easy fix on that visit. Their estimates are insanely high. I called yesterday and immediately made a friend. Barry and his wife Margie were here today. He was FAMILIAR and knowledgable with what I was telling him was the probable issue. Fresh solder on a burnt-out connection on the circuit board. All fixed in less than a half hour. $175. I might've paid only the $150 to the other company, but I will always go with someone who does not charge to diagnose.
