Kapsa Monument Co did a beautiful monument for me and my late husband a few years ago and placed it…read morein a Hillside cemetery. The monument has a vase on each side. Recently one of the vases has become loose. I've tried to reach out to Kapsa a few times. No one ever answers the phone. I've left 3 messages in over a week and half stating my issue and asked for the favor of a reply. I've yet to hear back from Kapsa. This monument wasn't cheap. I've reached out to two other monument companies in the area in the meantime and they are willing to help but say Kapsa should stand behind their business and take care of this. If they can or can't, either way the courtesy of a reply is expected for such an expensive monument. I can't rate them good in the service area as they are non responsive.

Buyer beware. This place is absolutely awful. They will screw you on the contract and they are very…read moredisrespectful. They will intentionally and purposely omit IMPORTANT and KEY things from the contract, and this can screw you in the end. When I caught these items, owner refused to correct them. Here they are: 1.) They verbally said that ALL inscriptions and design are included in the price, but when you get the contract it does not say this, and when you ask the owner to add, he refuses. Don't ever sign the contract unless they clearly write in text that ALL inscriptions and design are included in the headstone price, just like they verbally say. 2.) Draft of the drawing, design, and inscriptions was not attached. How else will you know what the heck you are getting?!?!? Don't accept without this! 3.) Full names of the deceased were omitted. This contract is also combined into the application for the cemetery. Are we just trying to get the cemetery office to guess? 4.) Memorialist didn't sign the cemetery contract on the back, which is required before you can even place any headstone in the cemetery. The cemetery has its own rules which we all have to agree to. We don't own the cemetery. These are all normal procedures for all cemeteries. 5.) Approximate date of delivery was missing. You can't just put a season like spring or summer. The owner was very disrespectful. When trying to resolve this in a calm manner, he talked over me. I tried talking to the owner nicely on the phone, but all he did was hang up on me. Avoid this business, and go to others in the area that will: actually put in writing what they say verbally, are willing to actually fill out a contract completely, and treat you with respect. After all, if you are paying them thousands of dollars for a headstone, I would think that you would at least have the above taken care of. This place is absolutely awful. STAY AWAY.

You ever have a contractor do such a good job that you start trying to find other things to call…read morethem back for? That's how I'm feeling today. Jerry and his crew are great. They are highly skilled of course, super friendly, fast, and most importantly had great communication. From my experience this is where contractor relationships most often break down. They made it a point to make me feel comfortable about the work being done since I wasn't going to be home that day. EQT went above my expectations. There was one spot on the stonework where we were filling a large hole and I said it's okay to just fill it with mortar, but like a magician Jerry produced the perfect stone brick from somewhere and made it look original. It was going to be behind a mailbox anyway but he wanted it to look right in case we changed it later. They also found a few more issues that weren't discussed and just took care of them without changing the price. It was a pleasure to work with them and they are definitely going on my list of primo contractors.

Maks came out and gave us a very reasonable estimate on rebuilding our two chimneys. He helped us…read morepick out a matching stone as one chimney was only going to be rebuilt from the roof line up so it had to compliment the bottom half. He protected our brand new roof and worked with the roofers to ensure that everything met the proper requirements for a waterproof and sound installation. I would definitely hire the Stone and Brick Masonry Group for any of my chimney and masonry needs.

I would not hire them again. My patio is fairly new. Before they came it was sealed properly…read more After they came it fell apart after 6 mo. They'll tell you every excuse in the book, saying the patio has too much shade, poor drainage, etc. But the fact is, it was sealed and fine until they came, resealed/sanded it and then it was a disaster. Now I have to get it redone properly again. What a waste of money that was. Do not listen to the excuses they provide. They will reply here and it's 100% a lie. They would not come and redo it for me. So I will never recommend this place to anyone. Poor craftsmanship on their part. And they would not resolve it, so not a trustworthy business. Come with the excuses. Adios. https://youtu.be/e7CbCTkfPxE - view of the shoddy craftsmanship applied to my entire patio. The whole thing looks like this now and did after 6 mo of them redoing the patio. Before this, I never had problems to this degree, period. Nothing even close to this state. My entire patio has sun hitting it, there's no excuses here. There's guards along the edge to keep plants from penetrating it, always has been. They'll throw every excuse at the book while other contractors will just make it right, even if they have to redo such a poor job that did not hold up even for a year.

I do not trust Bruno's work and will not hire them again. They tried to skirt out of a contract…read moreand also lied several times. They were under contract to spot tuck-point an entire wall but instead they only did the top of the wall and then claimed that the work was completed. When confronted about the rest of the wall, they repeatedly lied saying they did the entire wall and said that I was seeing shadows. Only after producing photos (I attached a few photos) of gaping holes did they grudgingly get back on the wall to complete the job. They said "ugh, I guess we missed a few spots" Unless you plan on babysitting them throughout the project, I do not recommend them.

Bruno construction was contracted and paid $10,000 to provide spot tuckpointing on the front façade…read moreof the building due to efflorescence in spots and around the top of the building. They did some spot tuckpoint work at the top of the building but then used a vinegar spray to make it appear they had completed tuckpointing on the areas showing effervescence. The effervescence returned since they had not fixed any cracks in the mortar in those within a few months. We tried to work this out with them, but had to file a complaint with the better business bureau and now considering small claims court against them. I notice a review by Matty C on 8-3-20 that reports the same issue we had with them claiming to have done work and arguing with us despite the evidence of the building looking the exact same before and after.
