PULLED CHICKEN - ONE MEAT DINNER
    True T.

Went there once and actually enjoyed the food so I went back a second time. I ordered the same thing of a small pulled chicken plate with macaroni and cheese and hushpuppies as my sides. My daughter ordered the smallest macaroni and cheese bowl and a small side of fries. Her portions were huge and prices were decent. My pulled chicken was not reheated all the way through so some were actually cold. Everything else was fine.

First time I've eaten at a Mini Maurice's...we were passing through and I needed some Cue. The BBQ wasn't made in site but was tender and moist. The Hush Puppies were smaller than I remember from my last time having them ten years ago though just as delicious. The Hash and Rice was outstanding and more than a meal by itself. The only drawbacks were the roll (dry) and staff (not as friendly as I remember - she doubted the Yelp Coupon for a 20 oz Tea and acted as though she was doing me a favor honoring it).

Got take out from here...everything was delicious besides the onion rings, they were barely battered and cold.

My first SC style mustard based BBQ. It was all fantastic, but a little pricy.

Their hash and rice is very good, along with their hush puppies. The only thing I don't like are the prices.

They don't have a set menu but what's available that day is posted in a couple of places, while you wait to order. They mark out things as they run out. I arrived just after 1 pm and there was already no more dessert. Not cool. Seating is odd and limited. Great for groups of 6 but horrible for 1-4 people unless you want to eat with strangers. Indoor has AC and outdoor is upstairs with narrow tables and it's stupid hot even with 2 fans. To order, you request your meat then slide down and order sides and desserts. They put it on a tray then you order drinks and pay. A tip was requested at checkout. A staff member did check on me 2 times for drink refills. Unfortunately it's clear you are to bus your table. Everything I ordered was really good and really expensive. Brace yourself...$33 for one person. I requested "a pound of ribs" which equaled to 2 ribs and was priced according to weight -$14.40. Good flavor and sauce but not very meaty. It's good that the smallest sides ARE large enough for 2 to share. There were no smaller single portion options, so I enjoyed the $6 cornbread pudding, $5 collard greens, a good sized $2 piece of cornbread - you get to choose center or side/corner - and a $3 sweet tea. Read that again: $14.40 for 2 ribs and $16 for 2 sides, bread and a drink. Overall good food but stupid expensive and unwelcome seating options. Posted hours: Saturday 12-5 and Sunday 12-3. Closed Monday to Friday.

The food was absolutely delicious--from the appetizers to the drinks and our entrées. Everything was flavorful and prepared perfectly. We were so full that we didn't even have room for dessert! What truly made the evening special was the outstanding service. Our server, Will, was training a new server (I wish I remembered her name because she was wonderful, too). Will was incredibly professional, patient, and attentive throughout the entire meal. He did an excellent job mentoring her while still making sure we felt well taken care of. They both made us feel genuinely welcome. This was our first visit, but it definitely won't be our last. Cork & Cleaver has earned two new regular customers, and we look forward to coming back again soon. Highly recommend!

From the moment we walked in, the service made the evening feel special. Our waiter was genuinely kind, attentive, and never missed a beat. The food? Absolutely incredible. The filet mignon was cooked to absolute perfection, tender, flavorful, and one of those steaks you don't want to end. The asparagus and broccoli were perfectly prepared, the bread was fresh and delicious, and the shrimp cocktail was the perfect way to start the meal. The drinks were just as impressive. My wife ordered the ribeye and couldn't stop talking about how good it was. The portions were generous, we left completely full, and honestly... I couldn't stop eating because everything was that good. An unforgettable meal, amazing service, and the perfect place to celebrate a milestone. We'll definitely be back!

I had never…read moreheard of Price's BBQ and if it weren't for my brother recommending it, I may never have come across it. Be aware, you don't just happen past Price's (in Gilbert, SC), you literally have to make an effort to go there. But it is well worth the effort. I grew up in Lexington, but have since moved away. On a recent visit home, I brought my youngest daughter with me to introduce her to the place that her father grew up. I wanted to have her experience the sights, sounds and flavors of my hometown. Price's BBQ is NOT a large joint. However, the food that they serve is absolutely fantastic. I would recommend Price's BBQ to anyone that has the urge for down-home country cooking served as an all-u-can-eat buffet. This is absolutely your spot. Price's BBQ is family owned and operated - I can only assume it is by the Price family. I was impressed with the quality and quantity of entrees and desserts. Both were excellent. Note: this is a home style restaurant and if you're thinking/expecting it to be like a Ryan's or Golden Corral, you are in for a completely different experience. The restaurant was clean and presentable. The service was excellent and incredibly friendly. Most importantly, the food was exceptional. I can't wait to eat here again.
