my experience at mauya was fine. i asked the workers any questions I had and they were v helpful. i love the selection they have here. literally everything a trinket / sanrio / miffy girly would want! the they have so much cute stuff from blind boxes to plushies to stationary and more. they even have smiskis! i do feel like this place is a bit on the expensive side, but as n avid shopping in japanese trinket & goods stores, the prices are pretty normal compared to other similar stores.

2023/051 Can't miss this brightly well lit quaint shop located between the neighborhoods of 7and 8. It is a specialty K- pop store selling assorted plush toys, stationaries and accessories. Most merchandise are famous characters of Go Yammy Yammy, Anirollz, Hello Kitty, Disney, Mario Brothers, Pokemon, Marvel, Ty, Sanrio, Gudetama, QPosket, Funko pop Animation, and many more Got me a Minnie Mouse macaron lip balm and a Minnie & Mickey novelty socks. I would be in great trouble if I take grandkids here cause I wanted to just squeeze all these plushies and just buy them all!!

A tad on the pricier side from this Japanese boutique store, so I'll have to wait for the next visit to support them. Yesterday's trip was strictly a window shopping event from this store. I'm more of a Daiso/Miniso fan, but I decided to take a looksie here. Compared to Daiso and Miniso, this store displayed similar items for more expensive. They have plushes from Super Mario to Pusheen. I almost bought me a Christmas Pusheen but decided to wait on that item. It was easy to browse around and look for stuff because their entire store was very well organized. Perhaps closer to Holiday season, I will return again for something.....but I was hoping the Pusheens wouldn't be so pricey.

I'm going to give constructive criticism in this review in hope that management changes their ways before this place goes out of business. The good This place has a good selection of items that are unique. The unacceptable The prices here are incredibly high. In addition to this, the customer service here is absolutely terrible. Management encourages employees to harass customers as they walk around the store. I understand you are worried about theft (so are all the other shops in the mills). However, getting employees to stare you down or follow you around the store without saying "Hi may I help you find something you are looking for?" is beckoning for a place like this to close. In addition, placing signs that state "you're on camera" is unwelcoming, rude, and extremely bad customer service especially given the fact that your employees treat customers like potential criminals. I wanted to buy Pops but after seeing how unprofessional this place is, I simply bought an overpriced card game.

Owner staring us down from across the store

UNCOMFORTABLE I felt extremely uncomfortable at this store. My boyfriend and I were followed around the entire time by the owner, specifically targeting us. I was just trying to exchange a gift my mom bought me, but we felt so uneasy that we decided to leave. Initially, two younger women were following us--one with short black hair and bangs, and the other with medium-length black hair. Later, the manager joined in. My mom and I have both experienced similar strange behavior at this store before. This place would be a 10/10 if they weren't so weird with the following and if they spoke to us like human beings. IF I COULD GIVE -100 stars i would

Ok I came back to see if they had any Shibu Ina toys but unfortunately they don't. Going to have to ask my nephew what else that he wants for his birthday. This place was crowded today filled with kids and their eyes so wide open at all the goodies to buy. LOL

I've been here twice now. This store is wide variety store not just for kids but adults who enjoy things like Pokémon, Kirby, yoshi, and etc. They are AMAZING when it comes to their Pokémon plush. I never seen such a variety and they are little pricey but so worth the money. I got three over the two times I've been in that store. They lady let me know that Wednesday is when they get their new shipments. So if they are ever low on something keep it in mind. Pro tip they have a loyalty card and sometimes campaign of different brand and characters and when you buy certain amount you get free item (usually campaign poster on left door when entering in). This store does not disappoint and is worth a look!

Came in for my daughters birthday, the store owners are extremely racist and unprofessional. No customer service and decline to help us properly due to our skin color. I've never witnessed a his type of behavior from any establishment in the Ontario mills. I am a member of this community and would hate to see anyone else receive this treatment. Please avoid they do not deserve the business from the locals

Wow... that was a long sentence... hope you took a breath or two LOL. So we had to check it out and see what "Typo" is all about. Hey, that rhymed. Cool! LOL As we got closer, we saw backpacks, stationary stuff, and some interesting artifacts. Basically, it's primarily a stationary shop. We come to find out from one of the staff members that "Typo" is a run on word to resonate with stationary paper and pen... eventual writing that may potentially generate typos... got it! LOL It's a really fun and interesting shop with lots of cool stuff. Atmosphere is welcoming. Staff was nice. Prices are very reasonable... you can get some knick knacks for $5. Sometimes they have specials like buy 3 selective items for $5.00. How cool is that! We didn't buy anything during our visit. I wanted to, but had to go because we were on a time crunch. I'll have to come back on my own and explore a bit more. See you here! Happy Shopping!

A Beautiful, Well-Stocked Studio Perfect for Crops and Creative Retreats…read more I attended a 3-day crop here for $79, and it was absolutely worth it. Just keep in mind -- it's a no-frills experience, which means you're paying for the convenience of a very clean, well-organized studio where you can craft comfortably with friends. The space is stocked with every tool, supply, and embellishment you could possibly need for scrapbooking, card making, journaling, or any kind of paper crafting. They even run a tab for you during your crop, which is so convenient when you find last-minute items you want to buy. Location & Space The studio is located in a business park, so it's easy to miss from the street. It's upstairs, but once you walk in, it's spotless and beautifully decorated -- vintage, feminine, and upscale in style. The layout and organization make it easy to find exactly what you need without digging through clutter. Experience & Staff Frank was there during my crop, and he's genuinely kind and helpful. People come in and out regularly, and it's clear the shop carries unique and hard-to-find products that keep customers coming back. I'm also part of the Journal Club and Card Making Club, and both are very reasonably priced. Whether you're crafting solo or with friends, this place is a gem. Highly recommend attending one of their crops or just stopping by to browse -- it's an inspiring space for any paper crafter.
