This is a small shop chock full of stuff for crafters. The owner has been there for 35 years and I…read moredon't think a lot has changed. It's a small, family-run, local business, so it's much more deserving of our business than Amazon or Michaels. Prices are good, too. I will say this, though. The owner's son is there full-time, so we see him enough. He's always been professional and helpful, just a bit cold. But I just noticed today that he's so warm to virtually everyone else who walks in the door, and has conversations with them! When we walk in, he does not greet us and will not speak to us unless we directly ask him something. We're not loud or demanding, I just get the sense that he does not like us. I still highly recommend this local business. I'm just saying, if you feel a difference in treatment from your fellow shoppers from the son, just know that you are not alone.

The manager on duty was super helpful and helped me contact Lakewood to cancel that portion so I could just buy everything in store. Another employee jumped in and helped pack my items into a box since I had quite a bit, which I really appreciated. Overall, the customer service was A1.

The staff seem to be friendly & in good spirits, helpful to patrons. Even at the end of the business day, items are organized & the aisles are tidy, uncluttered. I can really appreciate that. Meant to get something to put away the wreath I purchased at another Michaels location. Couldn't decide if I should get the hard plastic container or the sturdy, puncture resistant case (looks like nylon or backpack material). In the end, I opted the latter because the plastic was too bulky & appeared too big for my wreath. Got a few more ribbons, at 80% OFF, it was too good to pass up. Parking is shared with other shops like Sprouts, Old Navy & and few restaurants like Pescador & many other stores. This Downey Landing is HUGE, it may be bigger than the Long Beach Town Center. Since the restroom doors require a code, I walked to the front register to ask for help. The cashier called for someone to open it, so I walked back--but no one ever came. When I called the store to follow up, the employee was incredibly rude, telling me I had to wait until they finished ringing up everyone else. They seemed completely unconcerned about a customer emergency. I was so frustrated that I left without using the restroom and even abandoned all the items I had planned to purchase

This is a great Daiso location that is near ELAC. I always tend to buy many things that I don't…read morenecessarily need so I try to have some self control. Most items are fairly cheap and then they will also have some bigger ticket items that will be more. So make sure to check the price so there's no surprises. There's a big range from anything from snacks to household items to accessories there's many things that you can find here. This is a great store just like the other ones. The team is very helpful and accommodating. Make sure that you follow where in the checkout line is and their team members working the different registers will call you over if there is a queue. The parking can be kind of tough especially with a lot of one-way traffic and sometimes not everyone is paying attention. I can get a little bit congested but normally it's shouldn't be too bad under normal circumstances.

Magic Dream gave a delivery time between 9:30AM to 10:30AM. 9:08 AM, the delivery guy calls me and said he's there, I asked him to wait since I did not expect them to be so early. I get there at 9:28 and the delivery guy is gone, does not even tell me he left already. Here's what happened: The driver did not wait because they have other deliveries. The delivery guy also rang the doorbell of the house next to the clubhouse, finds out I don't live there, calls his boss. Oscar, the owner calls me and said they won't deliver since I don't live there. DUH!, NO ONE LIVES IN A CLUBHOUSE! and I told them during the booking that I don't live there! They have no clue what a clubhouse is. He calls me 30 mins later to ask if I still want the chairs and tables delivered. WTF! Stay away from these idiots.
