Got a fade about a week or 2 ago from Julian. They took great care of me, were informative about what they did and why (which I like), welcoming and communicative with me as a client and with their coworkers. The place was clean, organized, had a nice bathroom with no steps getting in or out. Parking was super easy for me. I really liked how crisp my cut was and their feedback on styling after I shared my routine. I'd suggest anyone looking for a place they can just be taken care of, relax, have a couple of good laughs, and pay for a service worth paying for, to come check out this location and probably their Hillcrest one as well- but please give Julian a shot because they're definitely in the business to serve and you can tell they are a natural that just enjoys t is business. read more

I booked my boyfriend an appointment here and he's gone to this shop a few times and has always liked it. But I've never seen him so juiced over a haircut like he was when he left the other day! We've never seen this barber before so I don't know if he's new but I just knew I needed to leave a review. My boyfriend walked out of that shop and was in awe. Similar to other reviews... went in for the first time price said $38 was told at check out that skin fades are an extra $20 ended up paying $58 plus tip came to $70 for what I would consider a very average haircut... Anywhere else would cost $40. Lesson learned. read more

Loved my haircut from Spencer. Also if you plan on getting a cut every month or so, they have a subscription for 25 bucks a month with a cut free every month. Super worth it! I recommend checking the place out if you're looking for a good maintenance cut (which is what I was looking for) read more

I've gone twice and each time was the WORST haircut I've ever received. The barber shaved my neck about halfway up my head and above my ears. I was blown away by how bad it was. I don't know how they let him cut hair there. DO NOT GO HERE!!! I would give 0 stars if it was an option. read more

I've been apart of mavericks barbershop membership program for about 5 months, and I can confidently say while the cheap price is alluring, you definitely get what you pay for. While some of the haircuts I've received were alright, the majority of them were pretty bad. I'm sure that the barbers are all talented, however working with a timeframe of 30 mins per client limits them and often results in rushed shitty haircuts. That being said, all of the barbers are really nice and have a chill vibe, but personally I just wouldn't go back because of the quality of the haircut. read more

Called ahead of time to schedule a haircut. Walked in and said it didn't go through so had to wait an hour for next haircut. After waiting 45 mins they only update me that I had to wait another hour because of a system error of double booking. Barbers don't seem too enthusiastic to have customers and rather leave work early. They also lied, said that a haircut was $30 flat but was $38. Waited 2 hours all for a mediocre haircut, systems error, and horrible service/ customer experience. read more

AVOID!!!! They have a BS 3rd party booking system that ALWAYS MAKES YOU WAIT 30 MINUTES and then when you ask to stop auto-charging you, they ignore your request and charge you extra. Some of the workers have little to no experience and I had to spend $30 to get my last cut fixed. AVOID!!! read more

The top was styled well, but my left ear area and neck were uneven and poorly done. The staff was friendly, but there's definitely room for improvement. Hopefully, with more practice, the quality will be more consistent. read more

Pretty half a$! With my cut. The barbers were nice and all but definitely didn't put much effort into my cut. It's uneven on the sides and there was hair sticking out that should have been cut. Had to get it fixed up at another spot. All this just to get spammed with emails and texts. No bueno!! read more

I just booked an appointment online and got called by a Washington phone number from a person I couldn't understand due to a heavy accent but mentioned mavericks barber shop. I then hung up and tried calling the store and from a California phone number answered the same guy I then got a weird feeling and just felt like canceling the appointment because I didn't know what was going on he then said you can't cancel and appointment unless it's 24 hours before the appointment when I placed it 10 minutes prior and before the appointment time. I don't know if you could walk in here and get a good haircut but from my perspective they just tried scamming me. read more
