Went in to get tires mounted on rims. I called before-hand and they got me in right away. I can see they're trying to put out the dumpster fire there but all the balancing weights they stuck came off rolling them to put them on... I think it's realistic to expect them to put effort into making sure the area is prepped properly for a sticker weight. they didn't do that. They gave me a price over the phone not realizing my rims were "large" , they honored the price over the phone. read more

sheduled appointment for my vehicle to get inspected iknow that it needed fixed before inspection. 3 days gone by the vehicle just sat there for 3 days. so i called them and asked if my vehicle was ready to be picked up.they said yes come and get it, i asked whats the cost for everything they said 0 nothing. what do you mean i asked,0,zero nothing .they said no charge .i said wow . why !!!! sorry sir we cannot inspect your vehicle or repair what needs fixed,what i said a garage that cant fix somthing .why not call the customer .instead of letting it sit for three days.if i had 3 days i would take it to another garage i said . should have gone to brewer and brewer the first time. never go to these guys wait for nothing garage. read more

Girlfriend was told to drop her car off at 1230 on a Saturday to get 2 snow tires put on. 24 hours later the car STILL isn't done. As I sit here writing this the manager is making nothing but excuses. As someone who worked at a shop like this, it takes a whopping 45 minutes to mount and balance 4 tires. She's only getting 2 done, there is ZERO reason her car is still not done.. This will be the ONLY time any vehicle of ours comes here. There's a reason I go to Oswego instead. If the manager is going to be a complete clown he should at least wear face paint instead of letting everyone find out the hard way. read more

The guys at Mavis in Fulton, NY are AWESOME they work as a family. Treat Customers with the upmost respect and take the time to explain your problems. I bought 4 new snow tires from these charming folks last year, and asked for a 4 wheel alignment. I paid over $800 dollars in the process. Over the course of 4 months of use, all tires showed uneven wear (feathering, and camber wear). Mavis would not reimburse me for the tires. They checked their records, and said that the wear was due to alignment issues, and that no alignment was done when the tires were bought despite the fact that I had requested it to be done. I told told them I had asked for a 4 wheel alignment at the time of the purchase. The manager said he couldn't do anything about it. I talked to the regional manager, and asked if Mavis routinely puts on 4 new tires without recommending a 4 wheel alignment to customers. He said no, but he still couldn't do anything about it. The staff at the Fulton Mavis are either incompetent, or willfully fraudulent The company does not back their inferior products or their incompetent employees. read more
