Fast forward 6 months later, I get a flat and come back just for them to tell me all of this. Meaning I have 2 regular tires and 2 run flats on my car for 6 months without knowing. They offer me no solution for 3 days and when I finally escalate this to another manager crystal, she offers some sort of solution. The only person here that ever provided any kind of empathy or understanding for the situation was Crystal and Jaiden. I remember leaving a 5 star review here in 2024, this place was ran into the ground after that. I have tried to contact corporate and will be escalating this. Came to the store with my friend to fix a tire and the store manager gave the advice to go to another shop to patch it instead of just taking the money and my friend not getting what was best for her. That alone tells you something about how they're running the show. I was hesitant to come here because I had a bad experience years ago, but I had a flat tire due to a nail and they were the closest I could get to. Maybe they got new management I'm not sure, but it was definitely a better experience this time. The customer service lady wasn't the greatest, but the man from the back came out to help me and they patched my tire up. I wanted to wait to make sure it was good, before I wrote a review but it has been almost two weeks now with all of my driving and it is still going strong. I think once they get better front desk service, so people are not waiting to be attended to and clean the waiting room up a bit they will be set! I went in to get 4 new tires and the manager told me $500 for all 4 new tires, balancing, and wheel alighnment. They took a long time because every time a car came in they stopped work on my car and started work on the car that came in, Then i went inside to see what was the 3 hours delay and found two damaged new tires that they tried two sell me ! Until i told them to switch them and the stripped my lug nuts with the air lug nut machine also they did some thing to my car because it doesn't drive the same. My pressure light on my car came on yesterday on my way home from work. I was near Mavis in Linden and called to see if they can check it out. They told me to come in. When I got there, they took my truck into the garage. It took a minute and I was wondering what what taking so long. When one of the mechanics named Ricardo was done, he told me it was a lose valve and hw fixed the problem. I asked how much and he told me no charge. I was so grateful for his kindness. I did tip him though because he stayed a little past his time to clock out to throughly check and fix my car. Came in on a thursday around 1130am for a new tire. Left about 1230pm. Not too bad of a wait. Did try and sell me stuff i dont need yet like rear shocks but its to be expected with these kind of stores. Changing my review since they didnt balance the tire my car started shaking at high speeds , had to go to a different store and get it rebalanced When i went back to fix the problem they insisted the rear shocks need to be replaced!!! Brought tires at the Rahway NJ store a year ago. I purchased the extended warranty at that time. A week ago brought one of the tires in for a leak. I was told it had a side wall leak and would have to be replaced. Asked what the warranty would cover and was told I was pay $50.00 approx. he said he would order the tire which he would have Monday, this was Friday, and he would call me that afternoon to let me know if he could get the tire. Never heard a word. Went 6days later the new tire was sitting on a pile of tire not mounted. Charge me $150.32 which included all the different bs charges. Not the $50.00 he said. Should not have had to pay the mounting and balancing fee much less the recycling and valve fee. No consideration or apology for the tire sitting there for 5 days. Wouldn't trust them one bit in the future. Warranty isn't worth a damn. read more

I have been here for 4.5 hours. I'm come out to see if my car is being worked on and the mechanics were standing around talking. I hear a lot of talking. The start on all cars at once but take forever to complete. Even at pep Boys the most I waited was 2 hours. I came in for 4 new tires, why is it that at a local tire shop they change a tire in 10 minutes and again here I am 4.5 hours later with my car sitting in the bay with no tires. So unprofessional! Went to replace all 4 tires with an APPOINTMENT for 4pm and was told my car cannot be services unless it was left overnight even though I had an APPOINTMENT. The way it was told to me flat out "We can't see you today because we close at 5, and we are busy," was wrong. I would not recommend coming here if you want accurate information. I visited MDT to get several things done to my car. I was hesitant on spending so much money because I did not intend on keeping my car for a long time. The workers assured me several times that I have a "great" car and if I invest in the service- my car can last a few years. Got my car services and a week later my car broke down! Also, when you are in person- they tell you one thing, but then call you and tell you a laundry list of things that are wrong with your car (OVER THE PHONE). They make you believe that they are saving you a lot of money, but truly give you horrible off the market parts. read more

For the record my previous front tires were completely worn from the inside from a bad alignment. I brought my vehicle in to be serviced for 2 new tires, alignment and balance. When When I came to pickup my car i didn't get an alignment printout , I had to ask for it and was told the printer was out of ink. This seemed suspicious because I've never come across not getting an alignment printout from any shop I've ever been too. Needless to say I get on the highway and at 60 65 mph the steering wheel was shaking so much it was hard to control.on the highway..it was unbelievable how vigorously the steering wheel was shaking. I automatically assumed no alignment or balance was done.I called and they said they would fix it. Sat morning I came stayed and waited in the shop.I explained I was in a rush needed to be at hospital in few hours. The alignment and the balance... took almost 2 hours ( because was probable never done in the first place). The manager never came back out when car was done and service tech threw the key and folder onto the counter and left. Now I just drove the car and it still is not driving right...back wheels are wobbling like crazy...seems like alignment was done but still no balance or just not done right.Not sure what to do anymore just know that before i came in to mavis the intense wobble wasn't there at 60 65mph. They Sold me tire over phone gave me an all inclusive price when came to mount they claim I need to buy an alignment if not warranty is void that is $129.00 but we can knock it down to $109.00 They said the will have the tire 11am. They did not start to work on my car till 330 pm And it took 2hours and 15 minutes to mount an balance !!!! Do not trust them !!! PLEASE--READ!!!!!!When I went up to the front, the management was really nice & stuff. but they messed up big time. I have a Toyota Camry 2016. I always get my service from here because I live nearby. They put Corolla Oil Filter in my car. TWICE!!!!! I called and made a appointment to have my tires rotated that I bought there. When I got there manager said even though it only takes 10 minutes to rotate tires and you have a appointment it's a 2 hour wait. When I told him that ridiculous and not what was said when I called he said the call center takes their calls. I wasted my time calling and going there. Manager didn't seem to care either.
