IF I was able to give a MINUS 2 stars , I would . Yes, it's THAT bad !! If you want your high end car serviced by "mechanics" that Mavis picks up at Henry's deli in the AM, then by all means go to Mavis Mount Kisco !! Go especially on a Sunday morning where you can watch these "mechanics" dance to loud Latino music in the shop , wearing sunglasses , attempting to shake of the drunk fest of the night before, while "fixing" your car !! Very entertaining , unless it is your car they are "working" on ! Basically, these incompetent frauds are liars, cheats and do NOT stand by their product. I ordered 4 Michelin's - spent $800. AS I DROVE OUT OF THEIR GARAGE THE DAY THEY REPLACED MY TIRES , I NOTICED THE CHECK TIRE LIGHT WENT ON. I drive back in - They inflate the tires again. Everything is "good" now. Uh huh. OK, I drive out-- get 15 miles away and SURPRISE, the light goes on again ! We call, they say come back. We stop home first, I notice one tire is COMPLETELY FLAT. We call them and say send a tow truck because now the tire is flat. Manager says it's almost 5 o'clock we leave at 5:00. Call us Monday. Can you believe they left us stranded with a flat tire the SAME day I spent $800 on 4 new Michelin's ? The SAME day I buy 4 tires , they leave us stranded !!! INCREDIBLE I change the flat myself using the spare. My wife GOES back to this illegal ALIEN fest of a store, on Monday , the next day, a different "manager " looks at the tire in the trunk. "Oh they broke the sensor, I'Il fix it" By "they" he means his crackerjack "mechanics" of course. After an hour he "fixes" the tire. She drives off. On Tuesday AM , surprise, the check tire light goes on again !!! She calls the "manager " at Mavis AGAIN , advising him that yet AGAIN we are having this problem. He tells her "don't worry , it must be because it was a little cold this AM" drive around awhile and the light will go off. Drive around ? To do what end - get another flat ? Wife tells him we are done. Get your tires at Pound Ridge Shell, they are replacing all 4 tires bought from you SHYSTERS. She gets the tires replaced , leave the original at Pound Ridge Shell. Tim the owner of PR Shell ( I highly recommend them) says he gets MORE business from customers who use Mavis AFTER they find out how incompetent they are ! He said two sensors were broken and no self respecting mechanic would EVER let a car go out of shop with broken sensors. It's tire 101.. So now, Mavis does no want to issue a refund , instead they want to fight it out . OK, we tell AM Ex the story they side with us , however one of the SHYSTERS from "Corporate office" advises AM Ex he has to inspect the tires before issuing a credit . OK, we drive down there AGAIN , give them the 4 tires back. They call a few days later and SURPRISE - they say one of the tires is "damaged". I ask how could it be "damaged" after only 1 and 1/2 days use , UNLESS you SOLD ME A BAD TIRE ? What is the damage , I ask ? It was damaged from driving under inflated ! HELLO,---remember I told you that you left us with a flat tire on the DAY we bought it ? The same day ? Ring any bells ? We had to drive it home because your fools left us stranded ? So now these disgusting shysters and liars are attempting to screw us out of crediting one tire. This will NOT happen as I will hammer AM Ex until the cows come home but the gal on these shysters is unreal. All I can say is go to your local mechanic and pay a little more, I have had other problems with Mavis in the past , don't know why I went back there again but I never will again. Do not trust them -- they do NOT stand by their product , hire people only qualified to work on 1968 Pinto's and are thief's to boot !! Revolting people, revolting business practices. read more

Mavis is very lucky to have Tony (manager) and Debbie (assistant manager) of the Mt. Kisco, NY location. I have been a customer for years bringing several family cars for regular tire, brake and related services. Tony and Debbie are a pleasure to deal with. They really provide excellent personalized service. Yesterday's visit was replacement of brake calipers, rotors, pads and a brake flush. Tony (as he always does) thoroughly went through the brake job with me and showed me exactly what was wrong (a frozen caliper). He also went through the entire undercarriage of the car letting me know of other needed repairs; what was safety related and what repairs I may anticipate in the future. Tony is extremely honest and confidence inspiring in my opinion. His interest is doing right by the customer. Brake calipers had to be ordered and were received within 15 minutes. As soon as the calipers arrived Leo (technician) immediately got to work on the job. The entire repair took approximately an hour. Pricing as usual at Mavis was very competitive and fair. read more

I've gone here quite a few times over the last 5-10 years and have always been really satisfied with their service. Never had any major work done, but for things like a quick oil, tire or brake change, they do a god job and do it quickly, without charging too much. As their name would imply, they have a great selection of tires. I drive an Audi and the tires I use take several days to come in at most other shops. Here they're always in stock. This convenience is real valuable. Being able to take care of a flat in 20 in, and close to home, is great. read more

I had a flat tire and sat on the road for hours in sweltering heat until a tow truck showed up. By the time I got to Mavis Tire in Mt. Kisco, it was 5:30 pm. It had been a long day and I had to get a new tire on my car so that I could get to work the next morning. The staff at Mavis Tire could not have been nicer! Deb, at the front desk and Matt, in the garage were so understanding. The garage closed at 6 pm but they were willing to stay late to mount a new tire. I would recommend Mavis Tire of Mt. Over the years I've shopped at Mavis competitors - Uniroyal, Firestone, Goodyear stores - and always came away thinking they did me a big favor. My tire pressure gauge light was on and the weather had not changed but I'd recently gotten gauges replaced which persistently triggered. Drove in on a Sunday morning without an appointment. Got immediate service and within a half hour was out of there: there was some leakage at a point of corrosion which they cleaned and repaired and they did not charge me! Great! read more

I stopped in my local Mavis on Sunday. Matt and his staff were on point. They were attentive, they were efficient, and very helpful. I went in to get my my inspection, and my tire rotation and they had it all completed in about an hour. They truly are the best Mavis around with an elite staff always on hand.
