Ryan pulled the car in immediately, quickly diagnosed the complete issue (including shocks and struts) and had parts ordered and delivered within the hour. The job took extra time because years of rust had degraded the calipers to the point of no return, and he got those in by the end of the day as well. Ryan at North Caldwell is the best! He was clear, honest and transparent. He was professional and was attentive. He is an asset to your company. I say this because I initially started at Little Falls, with an appointment for 2pm. Prior day i had 2 calls confirming my appt and time. All good. I arrived at Little falls early, 1;50. The male at the desk along with 4 others all looked at me like I had 3 heads and no one said Can I help you. One finally muttered, anyone can help you, but no one offered. I finally had a voice and he was a bit dismissive as to my appt. and finding me in the system. He insisted I had a Nissan: I do not. never did. All I wanted was an oil change. OK. handed over my keys and sat and waited. at 3:15 I went out, car never moved, nothing done. i went up and asked for my keys back. The other man said, can you come back at 5. WTF? I had a 2pm appt and my car sat and sat. Keep in mind I saw 2 others come in after me, were processed, and were finished before me. This male was full of excuses, all BS, none acceptable. I called the other location while this was happening and they said come over, we can take you right away. I did that. Little falls is and was for shit. Service, lack of organization, demeaner, and poor customer svc. Ryan in North Caldwell was the best. I will go out of my way to his location. read more

Couldn't find a solution to why my tire was leaking air; they states it's a change of weather, even though I inflated the tire, for than 20psi to make it manageable to drive there . Idiotic service for a place that is suppose to be an expertise professional in tires and rims. Gave me no solution or resolution. All they did was place soap on tire to find air leak. Didn't check the tire stem, nor inspected it the rim for possible leak and or damage. All they said is the tire is not leaking. read more

I noticed on my way to work that one of my tire's pressure was super low and when I took a second look I saw it had a nail in it (to my luck!). I googled the nearest tire shop and spoke to a representative from Mavis. In less than 2 mins I had a case number and was told to pull right in. Stacy made made the whole process easy and speedy. I have always tried to avoid Mavis Tire shops out of fear for high prices, but the repair was reasonable. Well worth it! read more

-0 stars! Buyer beware of this Mavis location. They put your life in danger. Just because we did not want to buy new tires. Mike the clerk said plugs won't work to fix my flat tire. The price they offer for the new tire was double the price than online. I told Mike that I have a new tire as a spare can they replace it. We received the car 10 min. before closing. They replace the new tire with the rusted spare rim. We ask why they didnt change the front rim with the new tire. He said because i didnt told him to!! I said replace the tire. The rim is not the tire. We did not know of the rusted rim. Mike had the obligation to tell us about the rusted rim and as well as the danger of the rusted rim before replacing it. They do not care about their customer safety. We left scared of driving safely. Another tire center told us the high danger of driving this way. read more

I am here on Saturday morning 1-28-23 already two hours, waiting for an oil change and tire rotation. The acting manager, Patrick, just informed me the team stripped a lung nut mount while rotating the tires. I now have to spend at least another hour waiting for a supplier to deliver parts while I sit here spending my time on a Saturday. The manager wants to charge me now for windshield wiper blades they had to also order from a supplier - and .they have the nerve to have a sign about charging $140 per hour labor when apparently I give my time away for free. Do yourself a favor; go to Jiffy Lube - this place is a joke. read more

I spent about 2 months continuously having to put air in my tires and was told 3 separate times from another shop, most recently about 6 days ago, that there was no leak. I finally went to Mavis and within 5 minutes they found a nail in the tire, which he said had been in there for a while, and patched it up quickly. The man who helped me was very kind and made sure to explain everything to me so that I understood what they were doing before it was done. I'm thankful for the quick and efficient fix! read more

A month ago I got a new tire while up in this area. Within a week or two it started losing air. We are constantly filling it with more air. While in the area yesterday I stopped in and asked the guy to look at it. I even explained that I live an hour and a half away. He said they had no time and to come back tomorrow. Really? The job should have been done correctly in the first place and they should have at least looked at it. I pass by this Mavis almost weekly on my way to Target. I believe it used to be STS? I saw that they were open on a Sunday which we know is rare when it comes to automotive places. As someone who drives 300+ miles a week for work, my car takes a beating and I get a lot of oil changes. It's difficult for me to get to most automotive places due to the hours I work, and the fact that a lot of them aren't open convenient hours. This Mavis Tire location has great hours, and they are even open on weekends. They had my oil changed and I was out within an hour, which is the exact estimated time I was given when I called. The guy at the front desk, Jim, was friendly and answered my questions. In the end, it cost me the same as it would anywhere else for a full synthetic oil change. I appreciated that there was no "hard sell" like there often is at the chain tire/oil change places. Instead, Jim told me that they checked everything out and I probably need back breaks soon. read more
