This place has gone down the drain. I miss when it was STS. Went there at 12 to see if they can change a tire and the guy said it was busy and I offered to come back another day but he said it could be done by 3. I get there at 3:10 and they didn't even touch my car! It was a huge inconvenience considering I had to arrange transportation to the place and back. There was another time I came here and asked them to check the brakes and to rotate my tires and they did not do that either after they said they did it!! Do not come here!! read more

Came in early on a Sunday morning with a couple cars in front of me. Took three hours to get two tires replaced. Very little communication and few staff on hand. Waiting room was barren as well. They need a lot of updates. Maybe a waitlist for which cars come in next. Several cars came after I did and were checked out prior to mine. I had a bubble in one of my tires. Dan, the store manager was very professional and helpful. Took me in timely fashion, got me the matching tire I needed for a great price. A lot of times you go to an auto repair shop the guys are very short with you. "It's their way or no way". But not here.Tyler the tech had my car out in no time at all. Fantastic service today at the 121 Rt 9, Englishtown, NJ store. Made an appointment at 10:48am today for 12:30pm. Needed a new Primacy MXM4 235/40 R19. Said online it was in stock. Tech tells me it will take 20 mins. At 12:47pm he tells me the tire is not at the store and their driver is coming from Lakewood with it. It will be two hours he said. Come back to the store at 4:15pm to see what's going on as nobody has called me. Now the guy says they are getting the tire from East Windsor and someone is getting it. I ask him what time they close, he says "5, and we'll stay late if we have to." It's now 6:39pm. Just called the store and no answer. Well done Mavis. read more

This review is coming from an actual Real customer that went in for service. I went in with one problem came out with two additional problems. The only reason I gave this establishment a 1 star was because of the good customer service at the front desk. I came in to fix my right axle. The guy at the front desk told me everything that was wrong with the vehicle and convinced me to get it done so I did. When I came to pick up the vehicle. My emergency brake light was on and it doesnt want to go off. Now when My vehicle goes forward and in reverse, you can hear a loud clicking noise which was never there. I brought it to the mechanic attention, he straight face lied in my face saying the car came in with the emergency light on and with clicking sound. Lucky I video tape my car before I dropped it off and sure enough the brake light wasnt on. So I told him, isnt it your job to fix a vehicle he said yeah so I responded if I brought in a car for service and you saw this emergency brake light why didnt you fix it ... no response. One thing i can accept if you failed to do the job you can eventually fix it but i cant stand liars because if you lied that means i cant trust you. Now i have to go back to get this situation resolved and I got a feeling that they either going to charge me or make the matter worst. Im being honest about this review and am nervous of even bringing my car back to fix the problem. I am scare it will come out in even Worst shape. This is unacceptable and I want to warn other customers and potential customers. read more

Went in for a simple balancing of my tires. I was told that I had a blown cv axle. I told them I didn't have the money to fix at this time and brought it to my mechanic to check. My mechanic said cv axle is not blown and simply tightened a slightly loose clamp. Buyer beware. You may want to get a second opinion on repairs. read more

Attempted to repair tires at this location 2 times - first - tire leaked after the repair, had to do it elsewhere, as this location was busy, when I returned, and the receptionist did not give a damn, saying I would have to wait until everybody in front of me is served (despite the fact that their repair was bad, and tire still leaked air). 2nd time they accepted a car, saying it would take about an hour and a half to complete, as they were very busy (saw only one car on the lot though). Returned 2 hours later, and receptionist told me that they did not take my car in yet, as they were busy working on other cars. Saw at least 2 mechanics doing nothing, chatting with each other, while no cars were worked on. Would never come back! read more

Called them at 2:20 today and was told by Dan they were open 5,. Got there 10 minutes later and told they were too busy. This place really went down hill. Last month got a 1,700 repair quote for what another mechanic fixed for less than 100 dollars. read more

I usually own 3/4 cars at a time and keep them all in great working condition due to their excellent service and fair pricing. When one goes there ,they get professional service in a personal friendly environment from Martin and John . They are honest and their mechanics are on the money. The store manager Dave is the worst store manager I have ever dealt with. He was yelling at the technicians in the front office for mistakes he made. He is such an unpleasant person. I went in to find out a price for 4 tires for my 2010 Ford Explorer, and advised i didn't have much time and it took him almost an hour just to give me a price. He'd go out in the shop and pay no attention to anyone walking in. He even chased a customer out to the parking lot who did not want to receive services from that store because they had been waiting and because of how rude he was. I did speak with one of the technicians Billy, who was able to give me more of a round about price for the tire which was very close to the price i got from another shop, he was very knowledgeable and helpful. But I ended up going down the road to Mr. Tire because they were able to provide me efficient information in a timely fashion. I will never go to this store again and will not recommend it to any one at least not to deal with Dave. I feel bad for the technicians who have to deal Dave on a daily basis and for all the customers who dealt with his nasty attitude. If they ever have wonder why the store doesn't make any money, he should be a BIG factor. read more
