After that They sent me to someone they knew from a body shop (route 19 body shop in elgin) to get the rear end fixed and they had my car for over 2 months and wouldn't update me or answer my calls, I went to go check up on it and found my car unlocked, with keys inside and alcoholic beverages so I took it home and was never contacted after that. There is gaps in the panels in the rear of the car and the panels that were "fixed & painted" are now chipping and peeling. Worst experience ever!

Total was $1300. 4 days later front tire completely falls, axle snaps, and ball joint falls out. Owner says get it towed in and he'll work with me. Quotes me $2300 for the second part of the job. Tried calling owner no response. Very unprofessional and not willing to admit they made a mistake or work with me. Not to mention this tire falling off could of killed me. They deny the second damage had anything to do with the first job but I've spoken to enough people that said at a minimum they should of done a full inspection of the front end. If they had a done a thorough inspection I would of happily paid the money. Instead two tows and here we are. Avoid this shop and go somewhere that knows what their doing and doesn't avoid phone calls when things don't go there way. In life it's how you respond to the tough times that define you.

The customer service is always amazing, the prices are excellent legitimately some of the best prices I've ever gotten, and the best part is that they're so professional throughout the entire service. I never feel uncomfortable or anxious with this place doing work on my cars. My only complain is that they're not open on weekends so a lot of the times I have to change my work schedule around the store hours but that's such a small downside for me. Back in 2022 I had a problem with my Saturn Ion that nobody could fix. No shop could find the part that was needed because Saturn went out of business so long ago. I went to well over 8 different shops to get the issue resolved. Garage 31 was the only shop that fixed the issue even though they had to jump through so many hoops to resolve the issue. I took it to Velaquez in Aurora, and they actually brought me into the shop and showed me that the catalytic converter is absolutely fine. The noise was due to a broken exhaust pipe (which they also pointed out so I can see it) -- which they fixed for parts and labor for $208 -- incredible service, honesty, price, and customer service.
