(1st time)On May 14th 2026 I went to Tuffy to have a full set of tires put on along with other work. Driving home it doesn't feel right. I drove it about 15 miles to see if it was still shakening. It was out of alignment. They let me leave without balancing the tires?? (2nd time)Took it back to them a couple of weeks later They checked it and told me a weight must have fell of the back passenger tire. Said they checked all the tires. Guess what still the same. (3rd time) Took it back again they had it for 2 hours and I watched them check the tires again. After 2 hours the manager came out and told me two back tires are "out of round". I ask what needs to be done. They told me that's on me, that I need to contact the manufacturer about the tires. He gave me NO numbers and basically said to bad so sad. Told me its Mavis's corporate policy. I called the corporate office and Tracy did a great job helping me. She was flabbergasted at what they told me. She she that is completely untrue. He should have done a warrentary claim and then we could go from there. I told her I'm not going back there. She set me up with Tire Kingdom. (4th time)Rich at Tire Kingdom was awesome. Great human skills and stayed in contact with me. The had my truck for 3 days because they found that the two tires were bad. (Tuffy)They installed bad tires. I went to pick it up on 07/03 and the manager Steve the SM said I had to pay for install of the new tires. WHAT? They had all my past problems documented and the manager wanted me to pay for something that should have been right the first time. Of course I told him I'm not paying Here's my question, if they were an honest group, not profit before quality service ,why did it take four times to find this problem. Corporate has a detail set of notes about this situation. I'm leaving out the real issue I had and that's how I was treated and talked to. I have called corporate three times and each time requested the regional manager to call me. Well he has not and that tells me everything I need to know bout MAVIS. Great corporate speak but the retail execution, communication and behavior is unacceptable. These Guys represent your brand., I will never use any Mavis tire stores again. I am posting to Facebook, BBB, Reddit and the corporate site if I can. Thanks for wasting hours of my time. BTW I kept the locations out of it. They called me as soon as they finished ordering the tire to tell me it would be in tomorrow. I asked for an oil change also and they were very helpful with ordering that as well. My car was done promptly the next day and they even refilled my empty windshield washer fluid no charge. I got some great discounts and saved more money than I was expecting. I will be returning again if I need my car serviced.

I've waited 3 months to write this review because I wanted to not overreact in the moment. But I…read morestill feel very strongly about how badly this shop handled our car and situation. Would not recommend to anyone. They had our car for about 10 days longer than they stated it would take. We were told 3-4 days to finish when dropping it off. Their prices were a few hundred more expensive than other shops in town but we setup service with them because we had time sensitive needs to go out of town, and they assured us multiple times it would be ready. They never contacted us about any of the delays, we had to call and ask each time if it was ready yet or when to expect it to be, and they failed each extension of time. We delayed our necessary trip several days trying to be as patient as possible. We finally had to go out of town with a borrowed car. They didn't contact us for several days even upon returning the next week and we had to stop in to try to find out again when it would be or see if we could get it back. They told us it was finished the day before. But yet never bothered to call and say so? How many people can go indefinitely without their car? They added on work, for more costs, and services that we never discussed, agreed to, or requested be done. When we left with the car we got home only to realize they'd not put the engine cover back on and had to return for it, and later found they had not reconnected a sensor they should have. My husband normally does our car repair but wanted to let someone else do this as the transmission needed to be pulled, and we needed to make a 1300 mile long drive with it. We took our car in for flex plate and they took it upon themselves to change the oil and filter without approval. To do extra engine mounts when we had just replaced them and even had warranty on them. We had personally just changed the oil and filter less than 1000 miles before leaving it with the shop. My husband was very specific about exactly what he wanted done. Imagine what they would try and do to someone unfamiliar with mechanic work or their own car needs. They did sneak in everything they could to charge more and did not even try to discuss or keep in contact about these things or delays that come up. They also did not warranty their work - only the parts. Beware.
