I rolled my trailer out to begin a camping trip. One of my tires was flat. It seemed that it suddenly just began losing air. There was nothing evidently puncturing it. I took the wheel off, called Mavis, and they set me up a quick appointment. I was in and out of there within 20 minutes! The technician let me watch while he searched for the cause of the leak. It was one of those very troubling kind of leaks where nothing was quickly apparent and the tire was just 4 years old. It took several tests to determine where the leak was. Turned out it was a tiny pinhole in my valve stem. Most tire stores would have given up and suggested that I buy a new tire. I truly appreciated the expertise, commitment to the customer, and their friendly professionalism! My next sets of tires will be purchased at Mavis! read more

I initially got taken care of and was excited.. But these guys definitely cut corners. Came to get a warranty tire repaired. They gave me a new tire but, broke my tire pressure sensor, AND they didn't balance my tire. Had to go get everything repaired again after a long day of driving at totally different location. On Saturday, March 8, 2025, I was informed that installing and balancing four new tires would take 1 hour and 30 minutes. Instead, the process took a full 3 hours--twice the estimated time. Then, on March 10, 2025, I had to return to the store and wait another hour to have the tires balanced because the technician had installed them without balancing. Once again, I was told it would take only 30 minutes, but it ended up taking twice as long. I do not recommend this place to anyone. The Technician named "Que". The amount of time that not 1 but 2 Mavis Tires took to balance tires is incomprehensible! The first Mavis store took more than 3 hours to replace 4 tires, that in itself is not a huge problem, but the fact that they couldn't balance the tires is crazy! A few months ago, I took my car in for a conventional oil change. The service manager stated he did not know what this was and tried to charge me for a synthetic oil change. I informed him that I usually get this done here. After a little back and forth he saw i was right. On the way home my wife who was driving in front of me told me that the oils pan cover was hanging. The store was closed at this time so I took it back the next day. They lost the screw and told me all they could do is zip tie it. This was unacceptable to me. I brought my car to them with screws and that's how I should have left. After a while I was told that they found a screw. At this very moment I am sitting in the dealership service department. I was just taken to my vehicle which is on a lift and one of the things the tech pointed out was my oil pan cover was zip tied. I am absolutely livid. Not only did you lose a part on my vehicle but you blatantly lied about it. I used to go to this store for the customer service. On GOD - If you are thinking about stopping here, keep driving. I have never in my 39 years on this earth experienced such incompetence and flagrant don't give a damn as I did at this pure shit show. Full disclosure, Antoine, the manager was nice and tried to remedy the situation. But it's not reasonable that I have to wait for him or speak only with him for service that my 2-year-old understands is a standard. I mean..it was putting a piece of rubber on a rim. Not rebuilding a transmission. Not even changing oil. It was putting a tire on a rim. I had a flat tire on my SUV with the spare mounted underneath. I needed a new tire put on my spare. I left it there 3 weeks ago on a Monday. The first week I called them twice. (Wednesday and Friday) But neither person answering the phone seemed to understand that Mavis sold tires and customers expect to get their rim and tire back. Finally, a guy called me ...said he was the new manager - Antoine. But he didn't call me to tell me my tire was ready...He needed me to come up and identify my wheel because they had so many back there. LOL? I did because he said he was new there. "Okay," I thought...new leaf. But Yall, my four-year-old knows to write his name on stuff to properly identify it. If Mavis Tires needs a consultant, he is for hire. After going up there to identify my rim, Antoine said he would call me back. Again, he was really nice. He forgot to call me back (we all make mistakes), so I called him back a few days later, and he said my tire was ready. I went up a week or so later (Today on Saturday). When I arrived, the gentleman at the desk told me I would have to wait until a bay came available to put a spare tire in the holding spot on the SUV. It fits underneath the vehicle. I didn't want to wait b/c I spent a week waiting and there is no telling how long it would take them to do anything they said they would. More so, I was already teetering losing my cool with this place. LOL. The gentleman behind the desk (an older gentleman...I respect my elders) made the comment, "So you're the Dueler HT that's been up here for two weeks?" I didn't respond. Because, again, I respect my elders. And the explanatory words that would've followed would have caused me to apologize. I don't like apologizing. I paid the $250 and pull to the side of the building. He rolled out my tire, and I started mounting it underneath my own vehicle. Why did I choose to mount my own tire after paying $250? it wasn't healthy or feasible for me to wait up there for someone to do that. I had waited long enough and am already on the brink of losing my cool. It was best for me to get out of dodge as soon as possible, so I did it myself Here's the thing: Antoine came out and saw me doing it and was like "Hey yall, don't yall see him doing that. Can someone please go help him?" I don't have to beg for or have anyone beg on my behalf FOR ISH. Needless to say and on cue, no one moved a muscle to attempt to come put it on. And at that point, that was fine with me. After a few cats saw me doing it in about five minutes or so, a few guys came over and asked to help. I'm good. WHERE IN THE HELL DO YOU PAY $250 BUCKS FOR A TIRE AND HAVE TO PUT IT ON YOURSELF. lol??????????????????? (Nick Young Gif). The problem with this whole scenario is this is the worst, don't give a damn, feces show in the area. I have never in my LIFE experienced such blatant incompetence. It would've been better if it was sheer ignorance. I can deal with ignorance b/c they don't know. But this professional clown show is egregious. Listen...if you need any automotive service, you will enjoy FOOLISHNESS, RUDENESS, AND INCOMPETENCE HERE. Don't waste your time. The silver lining is...I learned how to mount my tire underneath the vehicle. Nothing to it. I brought my Mini Cooper in on Thursday and received a called on Friday asking if I could pay over the phone because my car new brakes was completed for 500.00 I paid and picked up my car Saturday. When driving to work I noticed lots of clicking sounds and squeaky noises. I was shocked because it did not make this noise prior to coming in. I called 8:15 am today Monday morning and spoke to the manager and I explained what happened. I asked if I Can bring my car in and he said I could but I would not be a priority. Unbelievable I'm not a priority after you taking my money in advance and now I have to wait in line just for you to take a look at your own unprofessional work. I have now been sitting in the waiting area for over 1 hour and a half and no one has attempted to look at my car. This place is a joke. I arrived 10 minutes early for my 1:00 appointment it is now 2:03 and they haven't touched my car. They have open bays in the shop and the "technicians" are having a great time in the shop while my car sits. Like many shops the online quote failed to include the valve stems and disposal and tax so it was $80 more than the online quote. They require masks of their customers while none of the employees are wearing masks even as the service advisor/manager sits behind the counter sneezing with no use of tissues or hand sanitizer. I'm not a mask person but don't require your customers to do something you don't. I am an ASE master technician and this is not where you want service from what I have witnessed. Now the advisor/manager is out in the shop yelling at the technicians. This is the polar opposite of a professional shop. read more

I would avoid using this company at all cost. Today I waited 4 hours to get a patch on a tire. When I got the receipt it showed that I had asked to have other services. I did not want the shocks and brakes checked. I did not want to have pads and rotors checked. I wanted my tire fixed. The account is in my husband's name, but I dropped off my car. After 3 hours my husband was called and told the tire could not be patched, a new tire would have to be purchased. He was on his way to work, so he called to see if they had spoken to me. He stopped by to see what was going on, and miracle of miracles the tire could be repaired! The last time I was at this location I waited 3 hours to have a new tire installed. The customer service is awful, they do not provide services paid for, management is rude/defensive despite the fact of being in the wrong. Will not refund for services not provided. My partner visited this location earlier this week where a fight broke out between the employees where one of the disgruntled employees was swinging a tire iron in the store. My partner then proceeded to wait at the store for 8 hours for his car to be finished, when the mechanic kept telling him they were working on it/almost done, but actually didn't start until an hour before he left. He paid for tires, an oil change, and an alignment they only changed his tires. The mechanic told him they couldn't do the alignment which was understood, they told him he'd have to come back the next day for a refund, he went the next morning and they said they took care of it. When he called later to verify that was true the manager said to him why didn't you come today. You shouldn't have listened to the person who sent him away and to return the next day. He returned the next day and mentioned that he did not receive his oil change either then the regional manager proceeded to explain that his oil was low because the car was processing the oil and that is how gasoline cars work. We went to a separate mechanic the same day and they said the oil filter had not been changed and the oil had not been replenished. They have done nothing to rectify the situation. We have wasted a whole day of work and a week of phone calls trying to get a solution. read more

My husband went in for a tire rotation at 9 am. Well it is 3:00 pm and he's still there!!! What the hell!! I would not recommend this place to my enemies!! Had a 3pm appointment. At 5 the "manager" came to the parking lot to tell me they could not reprogram my tire sensors. Its a new car that was getting new wheels. They are 2 weeks old. No reprogram needed just move them. In short they wanted to try to sell me new ones at $79 each. I said no and give me back my car. At 5:15 the price went to 59. At 5:30 (they still have not returned my car) the price was 49 each. At 5:40 i got called into the store by "the actual store manager" who asked what happened. First off why dont you know? Second you came to me with false info and a higher price. NO. Just avoid the headache and the misleading, at best, up sale.
