When I went to the place to pick up the "truck", they showed me a van. They had no trucks for rent at all. They quoted a low per mile rate on the phone and when I got there, it was $.60/mile higher than the quote. Then they tell me they close at noon so they won't be there when I get back, so I would have to come down another day to pay. But I won't be able to pay with anything but cash or check. I wasn't able to go pay on the Monday after renting it, so I get a call Tuesday morning asking me to come in and pay. I tell him I can make it today or tomorrow. He (the owner) says, "No, you will come in today to pay!" So in short: Quote not accurate Wrong vehicle quoted Had to return another day to pay No way to pay but with cash or check Very rude owner I will not recommend this place nor will I return.

I took my vehicle to ACS to get new shocks/struts installed because the price was significantly better than any other place locally. However, ACS didn't do a realignment after doing the suspension work. Because of that, I burned through 4 brand new tires and had to replace them all just about a month after getting them. After calling ACS about it, they claimed that the repair didn't call for a realignment, though EVERYONE I talked to about it since then said that it is pretty common knowledge that an alignment is necessary after suspension work.

Knowing I don't have the time to take care of my car's needs myself anymore, and based on my current experience at this location, I will definitely be coming back to Grafton's Valvolene.

To put in perspective: Home Depot installed the highest end Simonton windows possible with the specs requested and came in at around $7k installed. Which means that HomeSealed has excessive profits padded in. So...if you don't care about the money side, they might be perfectly fine to work with as a local outfit. EDIT: laminated was requested as a cost compare option, not a requirement. Even if laminated were a requirement, Home Depot's was still cheaper by over $3k. Fact is - as we said - HomeSealed is just priced higher because they don't use every manufacturer, they only use the ones they use, which tend to lean the higher cost. That's what we said: they might be fine at their job and you might want the best of whatever, maybe they're fine. BUT...if you're like 95% of homeowners who feel that significant pricing differences for basic things like colors is illogical, HomeSealed isn't for you.

I hadn't heard back from them in weeks so called and they noted the manufacturer canceled the order and I had to go directly to them for reorder. I asked why I was not informed of this and they said they left a message but I never received one. Just have no confidence that ever happened as I would have a message notification if it did. Just another example of lack of care and concern for follow through. I like to work with local businesses but do have an expectation of a minimum level of service and that they actually care about providing such.
