I've moved all my business dealings local since March 2020 due to COVID-19. I decided that keeping my money in my community was important to me. I wanted the local businesses to feel supported and stay healthy during the pandemic. The last thing I want to see, in my community, v is a bunch of boarded up abandoned businesses that went bankrupt for lack of support. My motto has become, "shop where I live!" I try to limit my spending to my County, my zip code, my City, and places where I can't easily walk. It's actually been kind of fun! This place fits all the criteria! The people at this shop are amazing! When a car wash broke my heating vent and the dealership wanted a ridiculous amount of money to repair it, these folks helped me out by finding a used part and saving me some money! I was so grateful! Little things means a lot to me. They've helped me out with other things. Air in my "suddenly" flattening tires. Oil changes when the service light went on and my appointment was later in the day than I could handle! They even called me to apologize for a customer they perceived had harassed me (he hadn't)! What chivalry!!!! I am amazed at the quality of service here! It really just blows my mind! Even the shop dog, Luna, greets you at the door as if she knows to make sure you feel valued! When I arrived home, I was greeted by Tony (one of the owners). They had accidentally forgot to install the new windshield wipers. I went to Pomp's Tire at 10525 W Donges Ct. in Milwaukee. Scott, the manager told me they could do the repair the same day. 18 wheelers and delivery vehicles filled the lot. I heard a guy ordering 8 tires while I was there the first time. Repairing a flat tire on my car didn't make them money, but I still felt like a valued customer and the tire tech did a great job. Went back there yesterday to have my winter tires mounted and balanced. Scott recognized me and said "You're the guy with the BMW." I said "Yes." They were busy mounting truck tires again, but Scott got me in right away. I walked out less than an hour later with my tires mounted. I see no reason to go anywhere else for tire service.

The mechanic even proved it to us! Costing us more money! This is the second time Tires Plus did not do something properly. They also misdiagnose cars! I am done with Tires Plus.

They do have a large parking lot and always seem to squeeze you in when you take it in without an appointment (usually just have to wait 15 minutes). Those are the Pros. Oh yeah, and they have a super awesome (and old) black lab shop dog. Then there are the cons... When you walk in you're greeted by outdated signage, showroom, and waiting area. The place stinks of cigarettes and the majority of the items in there have been in there for what seems to be decades without being moved or cleaned. The staff is very curt in their communication. I will continue to go here yearly for a quick emissions testing yet don't know about bringing my car here for repairs.

I initially took the car to one of those "quick lube" places. The next morning the oil leak was worse than the day before. I was searching for other local options and came across these guys. They diagnosed the problem, made a simple repair, and I was on my way for less than $60. Give these guys a call if you need an oil change, service, or a set of tires. They will treat you right.

I asked my service manager, "I can't believe this wasn't done to be certified" and I was told it's not a requirement for certification. Really! Now I understand because the new owner, ME will be responsible for it! I think it's a shame that this was NOT revealed to me when I bought the truck. It will make me think twice where I buy my next vehicle. Thinking I have a certified vehicle that ALL of the required maintenance is up to date gave me a peace of mind that I was getting something great. Just goes to show you buyer beware even on GM certified vehicles. Also, recently I brought my car in for service, which should be a full inspection filling of fluids changing oil filter a week later my windshield washer fluid was empty never used obviously they didn't perform the service.
