We recently had my son's baseball team holiday/end-of-season party at Mavrix. It was a great choice for a group of kids. The boys were able to bowl, eat dinner, play in the arcade, and do laser tag, which kept everyone entertained. Since the party was during the week, it wasn't busy and the space is large so it never felt crowded. We were inside, but I also love that they have a big outdoor patio with large TVs. For food, the boys had pizza, french fries, and funnel fries, which was the perfect kid-friendly food. The funnel fries were a big hit, especially because they came with a side of chocolate dipping sauce. They also brought pitchers of lemonade, Sprite, and fruit punch, even though we had asked for root beer. The red fruit punch with a bunch of 10-year-old boys might not have been the best choice. The arcade was a lot of fun for the kids. Somehow they all managed to win a ton of prizes, including several giant bouncy balls, which made them very happy. It was nice not to feel like you spend a lot of money on arcade cards without the kids winning anything. They also really enjoyed laser tag. For the adults, I ordered the fish tacos and the buffalo cauliflower bites. The tacos were just okay, and the cauliflower bites were spicy, but that's to be expected with buffalo sauce. We did have to ask for water a few times before they finally brought over cups and a couple of water pitchers. Some friends ordered the nachos, and they were huge. Overall, the boys had an absolute blast, and there was plenty of space for everyone. It didn't feel cramped like some other indoor bowling and arcade places. The party was a success, and we would definitely consider Mavrix again for a group event.

This was our first time at Mavrix as we were invited to a friend's birthday party. They did a bowling package that came with bowling, pizza, sliders, wings, soda, and 2 drink coupons. They also have games, bowling, claw machines, and a couple of bars. We had so much fun, I only managed to get a few photos. Definitely check them out for your party needs or just a date night!

So much fun!! I took my nephew for the day and spent hours here. Abi up front checked us in and was the absolute sweetest!! We played unlimited laser tag and bowling with the package we bought. We also played a bunch of games trying to win some tickets for some fun prizes. When we took a break we decided to eat some lunch there. We had some veggies, cauliflower bites and mozzarella sticks. If you are looking for a fun activity your friends and family then head on over to Mavrix!!

First time at Mavrix for a business event. This is not the type of bowling alley that I remember. Guess I would describe it as a bowling alley, bar, restaurant, arcade, and a private event venue. They had a nice hosting space for events consisting of 8 bowling lanes, a bar set up, appetizers and a meeting room. Got a chance to look around and impressed with the amenities. Have not tried the menu, so need to put that on my bucket list.

Your Family Entertainment Destination Eat, Drink, Play is exactly what we did while taking advantage of the VIP Spark Lounge. The lanes are interactive and bring a whole new elevated bowling experience. Enjoy crave worthy, upscale eats and delicious sweet treats. We enjoyed the high energy arcade games, a little laser tag to work off our food and that wrapped up our experience at one of our favorite neighborhood destinations for family fun.

Great Atmosphere!! Fun time had by all. Music was good, lots of things to do. We bowled a couple games and played some games. The staff was very nice and our waiter was awesome. Would definitely come back! We just had drinks, no food but the drinks were great.

I recently planned a corporate New Year's celebration at Mavrix and it was amazing! From the planning of the event with the sales team to day of with the GM and staff....great event. The venue itself is awesome with lots to do. The food was delicious and our bartender kept our glasses full. Definitely a great spot to plan a party or private event.

We came here to initially play a round of bowling and go home. The man at the front desk talked us into the season pass which we can use in any state or Bowlero location. He upgraded us to the VIP area and gave us a free round of bowling with animations on the lanes for signing up. We weren't very hungry, but the menu had a lot of food including burgers, appetizers, wings and more. We ordered spinach dip which was delicious, and the right ratio of spinach to cheese. Our waiter was sweet, he was smiling and checked on us frequently. Many of the staff there wished us a happy Mother's Day, and our waiter offered to take our picture on a couch with a "I love mom" behind it for my family. The ambiance is definitely a plus. The place is decorated nicely, the bowling lanes are clean and new, the arcade area had all the games we were wanting to play like air hockey, ring toss, Skeeball, basketball, claw machines and the artificial reality games. Lastly the prize area had a lot of good prizes to choose from, but nothing really good to get unless you have over 1,000 tickets. My 4 year old still found something small he likes before we went home. Thank you for a great experience you made our day special

what a spot! we didn't participate in all of the extra circulars (arcade, bowling, laser tag, etc.) but stopped in for a drink after a night at bam kazam. everything was as expected, slow service, mid-food & average drinks. got a beer tower & was charged $5 for a water bottle per person when we asked for water... server was nice but honestly engaged in a little too much. wouldn't recommend the food specifically but that's also not why you'd come

There's also Laser Tag, Go Karts, and all sort of fun arcade games to play, and a bar in the middle of them all.

It's hard to list out all the reasons I love Mini Social: the event space itself, the customization that's possible, the location in Old Town Scottsdale, the kitchen, the storage space in the back, the lighting, 2 bathrooms inside, and all the options with the furniture (tables, chairs, couch, coffee table, etc) are all 10/10. Beyond this though, the team behind Mini Social is what stands out at the top of my list - they are truly so unmatched. You won't meet people more committed to making your event magical. While many people use Mini Social for private parties, baby showers, bridal showers, birthdays, corporate events, etc, my experience has been with hosting craft socials for women's community events. I felt so supported by the team and got so much help from them in customizing the setup for my needs, plenty of time for setup and cleanup, and epic communication. They are absolute pros! Jessica is super talented when it comes to design elements, florals, balloons, etc. I feel like planning and hosting events can be so stressful and there are so many moving elements. It can be hard to let go of control or certain aspects in planning - but Luke & Jessica make it so easy and operate like your teammates. Cannnnnot wait to host another event here!

Now I realize that the 2026 was a Summer Olympics and Curling is part of the Winter Olympics, but we didn't care Upon entry to go to the host stand and tell them what you're looking to do (activities vs bar/waiting). The space is relatively open and you can immediately see the fully stocked bar, the bowling area, the back axe throwing lanes, and the enclosed curling lanes. We opted for a package that got us unlimited games (any) for an hour. We started with curling and we didn't need any special clothes or shoes. We were lead to a lane and it's set up like shuffleboard (you can stand on either side and there's two separate color stones). There's ice where you glide your stones and you stand on rubber for traction. You can glide by hand or use a piece of equipment that is essentially a stick to help push and guide your stone. There's an attendant on duty to help any stones that are stuck or that don't make it down the lane The experience was awesome. We've always wanted to try curling, but it's difficult to find somewhere that is set up to let you do that. We were amazed that we finally tried it in a desert of all places. There are no brushes like in typical curling, but you still get a sense of the Olympic activity. The bowling was fun too, but it's a smaller version like you might see in some novelty bars. Axe throwing was that of typical ax throwing. You had a couple different sizes of axes, there's lanes and you throw at a wooden target. They had computers to input your name and keep track of points. It was sometimes difficult to stick the wooden target, but it was fun We didn't try the food or drink, but everything looked good. The staff were very helpful. It was a weekend, and it wasn't overly crowded which was nice. Overall it was a fun experience Some tips: If your stones seem to be getting stuck down the lane, ask the attendant to move you to another lane. That's what we did and it made all the difference Explore the rest of bustling Old Town Scottsdale. There's literally something for everyone, and definitely check out the Frybread Lounge for some great Native American fusion cuisine Chee

The event was well worth the prices, there were some vintners I 'knew' from the different events I've been attending the last couple months. The ambiance and vibe was chill, everyone was chatting and milling around, checking out vendors and tasting wines, and there were food trucks serving pizza and gyros. I would have liked some offerings of food inside the venue, but I did get some delicious plant based cupcakes with really good frosting. The whole evening was chill, we sat at a table then went to sit out on the bleachers for a bit more breeze. Very enjoyable event, we'll definitely come back for the next one.
