He said he would honor the $12.99 and I really appreciated that. They have lots of pets supplies, reptiles & fish, rabbits & Guinea pigs, crickets & rodents, dog and cat food, even vaccines! The only mark I would give against a perfect review is that it smelled like smoke. Not real strong but definitely present. Even still, I am happy to have found a nearby pet store. However , since I started here it seems they have a turnover in help and now seem to clearly be understaffed. I was told to drop him off at 8:00 am. He was there for over 6 hours before I was called to pick him up. I was very unhappy and told her this was unacceptable. I had told the owner from the beginning I did not want him kept crated more than needed. If they are taking so many dogs that it takes them this long to get them complete, they clearly should be timing the drop offs so they are not having to crate them over this long of a period. I have never had my dogs in groomers more than 3 1/2-4 hours tops! Her answer was that there were only 2 of them working that day. Clearly they had more than they could handle in a timely manner. I would have preferred to be called and told they were shorthanded and I would have gladly rescheduled. Also I tried numerous times to call when time was ticking by, and they had no one to answer the call. Sorry to say, I feel their business practices have much to be worked out. If time is not a problem for you or your pet, then maybe this is the place for you.

I got nails caps for Tapioca and 1 came off in 3 days. Had some scheduling issues trying to catch up with the "clawicurist" (my word) in Greensboro so we drove to the Winston-Salem location. This location is cute and conveniently located in an outdoor shopping center with accessible parking. They reapplied his nail caps and we were in and out in 15 minutes. We dont live in NC but Tapioca is our road (dawg) cat so whenever we hit the road, he's with us. We're usually in Greensboro but Winston-Salem will definitely be our ba cup location if we are unable to coordinate schedules. If you have a cat tou actually love, bring him or her to either Purr Life location. You won't regret it and your cat will love you for it!

During the move, they noticed my plumbing setup wasn't ideal and completely redid it, which has been a huge improvement. Unfortunately, I did lose three fish during the move, but they stood behind their work and gave me a livestock credit without any hassle. That level of customer service says a lot. Their prices seem to be right in line with other local fish stores. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that right before they relocated, I purchased a few replacement fish and lost two of them within a week while they were in my quarantine tank. To be fair, losses can happen with any fish store, and that's just part of the reefing hobby. What has always stood out to me is how informative, honest, and courteous the staff is. They're willing to answer questions, offer advice, and genuinely help hobbyists succeed. I haven't had a chance to visit their new location yet, but I definitely plan to soon. Overall, I'd recommend Triad aquatic Critters to anyone in the reefing community looking for knowledgeable service and a store that stands behind its customers.
