Down the road from where I work and they have great kolaches, donuts, and service. I ordered about 130 kolaches for the staff at my school. I had to do it in advance but never an issue when doing so. They have it ready pretty much first thing in the morning or at-least within 45-hour of opening. They also gave me a box of donut holes I guess as a complimentary thing for ordering so much kolaches. The owner or I assume he is, is real nice and accommodating. The workers were awesome in helping me by labeling the boxes and offering to carry it to my car with me. Best Breakfast fast food in Houston. Everything is top notched. Fresh made donuts and kolaches are outstanding and reasonably priced. Fridays feature a Cinnamon Roll that is unequaled anywhere. Arrive early because they usually sell out by 9:30 and they only create these on Fridays. Small seating area that is family oriented. If you're taking breakfast treats to church on Sundays, this is the place. Everything can be packaged to travel and still retain its freshness and high quality. Went to try out some Kolaches and Donuts after seeing the great reviews on here. While the food itself tasted good and the kolaches were a good size, there were some things that dulled my experience. The sausage and cheese kolaches had practically no cheese. The strawberry filled donut had almost no filling. And they forgot 2 items we'd ordered. read more

This place is great for the breakfast sandwiches. They are a bargain for what they give you. The breakfast sandwich is decked out with 5 strips of bacon. Definitely going back as it was all delicious. I haven't tried their donuts yet, but the staff is attentive and gets people taken care of quickly. Bring cash if you don't plan to spend more than $4 because they have a service fee for credit/debit cards. Their place is not the newest and fanciest barista based themed place, but it's a basic independent donut shop that keeps things simple and clean. read more

So I just stumbled upon this little donut shop while driving by pulled in and clearly they were open when I went on to YELP to check in it was Marked close by YELPERS well I don't know what happened there because they were clearly open. Upon going inside there were a few customers ahead of me notice that the service was very friendly to everyone. When it was my turn in line they said I will come to max donuts what can I help you with boss? I ordered a jalapeño and cheese sausage To my surprise before he could even pull my order they were bringing out a piping hot fresh tray I say give me one of those in which reply they were like great we don't have to warm it up. I don't know if it was because it was super fresh or what but it was very delicious and I will definitely be back here whenever I'm driving down Clay Road need a quick something to eat in the morning hours. read more

So far, so good! I had a sausage croissant Kolache, and it was awesome! The pastry was very fluffy, yet crispy, and it had just the right amount of gooiness on the inside. There was not much of a selection when I got there right around 8:45 AM. But, I think that says a lot about their Kolaches and donuts. They did have a wide variety of breakfast sandwiches and tacos, so that was a nice change from the typical donut shop. My husband gobbled up his sausage egg and cheese biscuit, and we both saved our apple fritter and donuts for a nice snack at the office. What a great little shop! Quick version: mom and pop type shop with awesome donuts and breakfast foods. Service: Went in on a Sunday morning, to find already a small crowd inside. There was a little wait in line since it was busy but the employees worked as quick as they could. The people at the counter warmly greeted every customer. Food: There was a selection of breakfast burritos/tacos, donuts, breakfast sandwiches, kolaches, and crescents. We got the sausage and cheese kolache and sausage, jalapeño and cheese kolaches. The bread of both were buttery and soft. The sausage had the cheese and jalapeños in the sausage. (Way better than some chains that just use a hot dog in a closed bun and call it a "kolache".) We also got the glazed donuts and chocolate iced with sprinkles. Both donuts were very light in texture, glaze and chocolate done very well on both. Coffee was fine. Ambiance: When you drive up, it is clear that it is a small, local, shop. No frills when you walk in. They had a few old booth style tables to sit at. I hope they get enough business to be able to spruce up the place eventually. Definitely will return again due to proximity and for the food. read more
