I spent over $1200 on this service and it wasn't done properly. I'm incredibly disappointed and especially by the lack of customer service. We had some old halogen lightbulbs that were in a custom, under counter installation where the bulbs were embedded inside of a shelf and the wiring was behind the wall, behind some tiles. So it was a tricky situation and because they're halogen lights we needed to find an older style driver. I had tried working with an electrician who did a terrible job so I found Max on yelp and he was very responsive via email and text. We figured out the products that we needed and I ordered them, and then he showed up on time and got the job done quickly. He had to change the plan around once he was here because the driver didn't work with the new LED bulbs that I bought, but he came up with a creative solution on the spot. We woke up this am to our smoke alarm going off a couple times for no reason. Contacted a few vendors and Max got the bid with their reasonable charge and glowing reviews. I now wish to add to that pile. The electrician who came was courteous and efficient. He figured out the problem (replace two defective alarms) and quickly completed the task. Now the BEST part. At the same time we noticed an issue with our Google thermostat. It needed charging tho connected to electrical system? I had to get 2 electrical panels updated (replaced) in a duplex, for insurance requirements. No one likes being forced to do work, and after getting a quote for 10k which gave me major sticker shock, I pinged Max Electric who within a day, quoted me FAR less. I got an appointment that week, which was important as I was under a time crunch. I just wanted good quality work done and to satisfy my insurance. Scheduling was super easy. They even work Saturday. The ability to communicate over text is appreciated. Note: Day of the work I messed up and missed their calls to let them into the building. So I was over 1.5 hours late letting them in to get started. I felt terrible.
