Just wanted to commend Kris on the amazing work he's doing with this business. He delivered a large box of free meals to First Responders in the community, which was how I first came across the meals. Not only are they healthy and fresh but they taste incredible. My friend and I were in the Marina location picking up meals and ran into Kris. Not only was he super helpful about products, but he even went out of his way to ask us suggestions for how to improve the meals. My friend and I had mentioned that the meals are incredible, but we were disappointed only because there is not a location in the Santa Cruz area, and that the delivery parameters didn't reach us either. Only a couple of months later we realized that Max fit can now deliver to Santa Cruz county. I am not sure if Kris took our suggestion and implemented it, or if MaxFit is just expanding in general, but I truly appreciated how kind and helpful he was as a business owner. Be very careful if you're trying to trade this option for the do it yourself one. For those of us who workout regularly and intentionally weigh our food including balancing our macros and our salt intake this might not be for you. And when I say trade I mean for those of us who meal prep weekly. Very upset that when I met the owner he could not and would not give me a clear or definitive answer on the amount of salt he is adding. And all I'm eating is the plain chicken, sweet potatoes and broccoli. Oh and the broccoli has salt added too because he blanches it. The owner said if you have diabetes or high blood pressure the food isn't recommended but why is the not on his website. Also, see my photo how we can't even count on the calorie count being right... one says it's 269 and one says it's 352 that's a HUGE DIFFERENCE WHEN your on a program and training! And one week my food said ZERO calories I'll be posting more pictures soon. I'm so bummed that I couldn't get a straight answer and I can't even count on the calories be true. What's worse is the owner said he wouldn't get the sodium on the packaging because it costs too much to have a nutritionist look at at. REALLY WHO SAYS THAT. Working in Salinas this week and decided to eat something a healthier. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The rep was telling me from the holiday they were sold out on a lot. I was torn between the Al Pastor, Sea Bass & Chicken Alfredo. He recommended out of the 3 the chicken. So that is what I got. I also ordered a Strawberry smoothie, which was very good. The was a ton on chicken breast sliced, with grape tomatoes cut in half, a couple of very small pieces of broccoli. Chicken was moist. The sauce and cheese mixture was pretty good. Whole wheat fusilli pasta. Overall a very good tasting meal. Perfect portion size. His instructions 2 minutes in microwave, remove and stir. Followed by another 40 seconds was perfect. I love the food here. For a couple of months I prepaid for their meal plan, the blackened chicken wrap being my favorite. It was reasonably priced for the $100 for 15 meals they had and loaded in probably over 60 meals to date. However, they recently increased the prices where I no longer can justifiably pre pay their meals (it's now something like $120 for 12 meals). Shame since it saved me so much time that I don't have but food quality wise it's very good. I would recommend wholeheartedly if money isn't an issue and you need more time in the day. read more

So I was very hesitant to come here because everyone knows the Vitamin Shoppe and GNC exists. Well I finally went the other day and I'm mad at myself for not coming sooner. They have A LOT to offer in the store and especially offering food prep meals for purchase and you can even eat there. I purchased a couple of the meals and they were delicious and tasteful though I had my doubts. The prices were really good, cheaper than Vitamin Shoppe. They have a great staff and they welcome you in and don't try to sell you products like most supplement stores do. And they sell more than just supplements. So to start off I am a contractor out of Travis Airforce base and i am currently working 32 days straight on a runway project for minimum 16 hour days. so we decided to order Max Fit meals to make sure we could eat 3 healthy meals a day. and they are AMAZING. the food is so good! There were some initial complications with shipping out to us being we are probably the first people to order from them over here. But the company went ABOVE and BEYOND what I could imagine to fix the shipping issue. They replaced a $200 dollar order without questions due to it not shipping overnight. I order breakfast lunch and dinners for 5 days at a time and since we rely on getting these meals Max Fit made sure we got food as soon as possible. I received phone calls from The owner of Max Fits' owner apologizing for the inconvenience and that is not something too many companies do.
